Patrick Durham is an American film writer, actor, producer, and director. Launching his career with popular cult classics, Patrick quickly emerged as one of Hollywood’s top horror film producers. Characterized by his film and casting choices, he is recognized as “sure bet” for distributors, producing a steady flow of horror films starting with HOBOKEN HOLLOW, which features such legendary names as Michael Madsen, C. Thomas Howell, Dedee Pfeiffer, Robert Carradine, Jason Connery, and the late Dennis Hopper. His second horror/thriller was TOOTH AND NAIL. As always, Patrick included his close friends and award–winning actors, Michael Madsen and Robert Carradine; and then added horror–film franchise actors from Dawn of the Dead, Cabin Fever, The Black Dahlia, and The Midnight Meat Train which included veteran actors Michael Kelly, Rider Strong, Rachel Miner, and Vinnie Jones. Tooth and Nail was distributed by Lions Gate and After Dark Films in their “8 FILMS TO DIE FOR” series. Tooth and Nail was also invited to be in the “4–Time Oscar Winning Stan Winston’s” horror film festival SCREAMFEST. It played to an excited crowd at the world famous “Grauman’s Chinese Theater” on Hollywood Boulevard. Stepping into major studio films, Patrick and his production partner Jonathan Sachar produced one of Lions Gate’s flagship franchise films, CABIN FEVER 2. Being a huge fan of Stephen King, Patrick produced a major fan–favorite in 2009. Warner Brothers’ “CREEPSHOW RAW” which is derived from Stephen King’s film CREEPSHOW. Soon after that, Patrick teamed up with legendary director Charlie Picerni, and Hollywood royalty Frank Capra III, for THE BLEEDING. Patrick executive produced the film, which stars his favorite actors, Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. In 2010, Patrick produced THE KILLING JAR, starring actors Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo, Jake Busey, Harold Perrineau, Amber Benson, Lew Temple, and Kevin Gage. The Killing Jar was released theatrically across the United States. Patrick has also produced comedies, which includes STRIKE, starring Tara Reid, Vinnie Jones and Robert Carradine. Recently, he produced the popular comedy, THE PENTHOUSE starring Rider Strong, Kaley Cuoco from the number one television comedy “THE BIG BANG THEORY, and Hollywood Royalty Luke Flynn, the grandson of Errol Flynn. Patrick was one of four producers behind the highly anticipated animated comedic film, BIG BUG MAN featuring the voices of Brendan Fraser and Marlon Brando. It is Brando’s last known film performance. Patrick’s dramas include, COSMIC RADIO, ARE YOU A SERIAL KILLER, DON’T PASS ME BY, PLAY JAMES PLAY, WEDDING DAY, REACHING FROM ABOVE, THE WICKED WITHIN, HEAVENS GRACE, RACING WITH MOSES and ROAD TO THE OPEN. Stepping into the Christian film market, Patrick recently produced Collette Harrington’s ONLY GOD CAN which played in theaters in every state and is on DVD and digital. Moving into action films, Patrick recently executive-produced the action film FOUR ASSASSINS, starring Miguel Ferrer and Will Yun Lee. This film won the Gold award for best thriller at the 44th Annual WorldFest in Houston. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival later that year. His action franchise CROSS is distributed by SONY and is available in all formats all over the world. It stars an action–packed cast of household names including Brian Austin Green, Michael Clarke Duncan, Jake Busey, Tom Sizemore, Robert Carradine, C. Thomas Howell, Vinnie Jones, Willia Zabka, Lori Heuring, Tim Abell, and Bart Johnson. CROSS was the 41st most popular film in the world on May 22, 2011 rated by the Internet Movie Database, imdb.com. CROSS 2, aka CROSS WARS, hit stores and theaters across the world and the internet on February 8th, 2017. Patrick’s action comedy, “Fury of the Fist” hit theaters on Memorial Day 2018 and is now available on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Google Play Movies & TV. CROSS: RISE of the VILLIANS (Cross 3) was released on November 12, 2019 and CROSS 4 is currently in Pre-production.
