SCENE 1 ACT 1

OUR STORY BEGINS IN THE YEAR 2008 IN GREEN FOREST CITY A

CITY IN THE USA A CITY SIMILAR TO NEW YORK BUT NOT AS BIG.

AS TWO POLICE OFFICERS BEGAN THEIR PATROL IN GREEN FOREST

 CITY ONE OF THE OFFICERS BEING NEW TO THE GREEN FOREST

POLICE DEPARTMENT DECIDES IT'S BEST TO SIT AND REMAIN

SILENT AS HIS NEW PARTNER AN OLDER OFFICER DECIDES IT'S

BEST TO BREAK SILENTS AND HE STARTED THE CONVERSATION BY

TALKING Â ABOUT ALL THE NEW RECRUITS OF THE POLICE FORCE

 THE OLDER OFFICER LOOKS AT HIS NEW PARTNER AND SAID.

OFFICER 1

"Man, did you see all the new

recruits today? which reminds me

today's your first day on the job

is it not rookie?"

OFFICER 2

"Yes it is and I do have a

perfectly good name and it's Jim

so if you want in mind can you

please use it.

OFFICER 1

"Well, since your name isn't Tom,

you can call me Jerry."

JIM:

"and Thank you, Jerry I was really

nervous since today is my first

day on the job old-timer."

JERRY:

No problem Jim it's a pleasure

helping one of the new recruits

out on their first day on the job

The two officers then share a laugh. Just then over the CB

radio, the dispatcher called 10-10, Fight in progress at a

nearby house in Jim and Jerry's location Jerry picks up the

CB radio and replies

JERRY (CONT'D)

"10 4 dispatches this is car 22

we're on our way

The two police officers stood outside the house next to the

door of the house the door was slightly open, and the two

police officers rang the doorbell and knocked on the side

of the door to alert the owner of the house and to know

that there was someone outside.

Every time they would knock or ring the doorbell they say

it's the police open the door we have come to check For Any

disturbance Finally after five minutes of knocking and

ringing The doorbell the two police officers began to walk

inside as they slowly approach the living room.

They notice a body laying on the floor right away the JIM

walked slowly over TO the body HE kneels over the body

wondering what happened the rookie officer checked for a

pulse BUT there was no pulse JIM QUICKLY JUMPS AND YELLS!

JIM:

"Jerry he has no pulse quick we

got to call this in!"

As Jim ran outside to call in the dead body Jerry began

looking around the house for any signs of anybody that

might have been in there, JERRY reaches a back room feeling

as if somebody is following him Jerry reached for his gun

but when turns AROUND he finds a mirror on the wall and

then take his hand off his gun and proceeded to search the

rest of the house after searching the house and discovering

nothing Jerry went back to the dead body. After waiting for

15 minutes outside Jim was finally greeted by Detective

Tony, Detective Tony stepped out of his car and said

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME

"SO are you the one who radioed in

the dead body?"

Detective Tony Prime could see that the rookie Jim was

nervous because he did not believe that he was standing in

front of one of the greatest detectives, then detective

Tony asked again.

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME (CONT'D)

"are you the one who radioed in

the dead body?"

JIM:

"yes sir I was the one who called

in the dead body."

Detective Tony looked at the rookie Jim, and he could tell

that the rookie was trying to hold back his excitement,

Detective Tony said.

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME

"where is the dead body?"

JIM:

"Yes, it's right in this house Â

sir."

As Jim showed, detective Tony to the dead body as soon as

detective Tony got into the house he noticed several

lacerations marks around the neck then Tony turned to Jim

and said.

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME

"Jim head out to my police vehicle

and get me my camera and the crime

scene tape from the back of my car

this is a murder."

As Jim ran out to the car Then Jerry turn to Detective Tony

and said.

JERRY:

Wait a second detective Tony how

can you be so sure this is a

murder what if this was an

accident

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME

Now Jerry I know you've been on

the police force longer than I

have old friend but this was no

accident nor was it suicide it's

simple if you take a look at these

lacerations around his neck you

can easily tell then a small yet

thin piece of wire maybe piano or

fishing line was used to strangle

him.

Jerry looks to see what detective Tony was saying he

couldn't believe his eyes of all the years he's been on the

police force and never once did he tell what was the murder

weapon, but by looking at the laceration marks on the

bodies neck it was something like the piano wire or fishing

line.

The marks were easy to spot and the cut into the skin and

there are small drops of blood on his fingers, and then

Jerry asks Detective Tony.

JERRY:

"Does that mean the victim knew

his attacker?"

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME.

"He didn't know his attacker. But

I can see why you ask me that it

doesn't look like there was any

sort of struggle here but if you

look closely there are two shoe

imprints embedded into the rug

here. "

Jerry looks down at the rug and notices that there were two

large shoe prints deeply embedded into the rug that he."

JERRY:

"Why would he let his attacker

in?"

DETECTIVE TONY PRIME
