Everybody in the gym house staring at obuzu at his speed rate. he opens his eyes and sees how people are staring at him, they all goes back to their side and he stops, pick his towel and goes out.
DISSOLVES:
12 INT/EXT - OFFICE, STREET - DAY
Flint comes out of an office; he sees a bread seller, stops her and buys bread and groundnut. he is taking it while trekking home. He sees another vacancy post and throws away the bread, adjusts himself and goes in... Then comes out in few minutes, stares at the bread on the ground, starts trekking home. He sees another vacancy and writes it down, then goes home.
EXIT:
Early in the morning, flint and his friend were outside, drinking, and discussing.
FLINT:
Tony what time is the interview?
TONY:
They said its 10.o’clock, but am losing hope.
BENARD:
(sad voice)
I don’t think i am going to look for any work again
FLINT:
We should never give up hope. life is hard
TONY:
(supportive voice)
yeah, bernard. never give up hope
BENARD:
Flint the country is so corrupt, that they care not for the less privileged. What is the essence of graduating from school? It’s of no use going to school, since touts are given the positions of authority. Graduates linger in the street.
TONY:
The little work you see no pay. If you don’t have somebody, you are nobody. But what shall we do? (sigh)
BENARD:
Tony the best option is to leave this country
FLINT:
Do you think that is the best option?
BENARD:
No work, poor education, police brutality, killing everywhere, no justice. What is life for?
He gulps from his bottle of beer and light a cigarette. Flint is smoking, only tony does not smoke.
a girl passed by
TONY:
(Feeling less concerned)
I think of going to another city, and not leaving the country entirely.
BERNARD:
(With warm smile)
She is so beautiful... flint what do you think?
FLINT:
i think i gotcha go and prepare for the interview
BENARD:
aww! ya so mean now. chill up. Forget the past. u gotta like that.
TONY:
Could that be the police - sars....
FLINT:
you’re not with your weed here?
BENARD:
No. but i hate to see them
14. EXT. STREET - DAY - CONTINUOUS
The police coming with their van, they stop and arrest the three boys. They put them in the van and drives out
