Riley Owens:
Hey man what's up? How are you doing? I am so fucking pumped for this field trip man.

Nelson Amador:
Yeah I think it's going to be fun.

Riley Owens:
Dude aren't you excited? We have no other classes today and you say it's not going to be fun?!...

Nelson Amador:
Sadly I have to do Krystal's homework tonight so I can't hangout tonight.

Riley Owens:
Dude that fucking sucks balls. God I hate Krystal she does this to you all the time and she never lets you do anything!!!!!! It makes me angry!!!!!

Nelson Amador:
Yeah I know Riley But there is just nothing I can do about it. Sadly, I'm just going to be a loser forever.

Riley Owens:
Don't say that man. When we get out of this stupid town. We are going to be big.

Nelson Amador:
Yeah lets just hope your right.

Nelson and Riley keep on walking to their class.

As Nelson and Riley are walking to their class, a Chevy Malibu shows up in front of the school.

Sabrina Roberts:
Dad you can you drive to other side please?!

Cut to:

Int. inside the car – morning

Whitney Roberts:
Why honey? The Entrance is right there.

Sabrina Roberts:
Mom this is the 3rd school day since moving here.

Whitney Roberts:
Why because you want us to start driving to school because you flunked out of every private school that we sent you to.

Sabrina Roberts:
Mom please.

Whitney Roberts:
Sabrina don't be ashamed for who you are sweetie. And you are a very beautiful and stunning girl. I will pick you up after school.

Sabrina gets out of the car and she starts heading to her class.

One girl notices her and says hi to her. But Sabrina doesn't pay attention to that girl.

Sabrina starts looking for her class and she sees Riley and Nelson.

Sabrina Roberts:
Excuse me. I'm looking for Math 304. Do you know where that is?

Nelson Amador:
Yeah I know where that is. It's like right around the courtyard.

Sabrina Roberts:
Thank you so much. I'm Sabrina by the way.

Nelson Amador:
Nelson. Are you new here?

Sabrina Roberts:
I am actually. I'm from Portland. I use to live in West Linn.

Nelson Amador:
That's really cool Sabrina. You also have very beautiful eyes by the way.

Sabrina Roberts:
Oh thank you. You are are so sweet. Well I should get going. It's nice to meet you Nelson.

Sabrina starts walking to her classes. And Nelson starts checking her out head to toe.

Riley Owens:
Come on man we are going to be late lets go.

Nelson and Riley keep on walking.

Int. the science classroom – morning

Nelson and Riley walk into the classroom and sit down at their desks.

Riley Owens:
Dude you should really sneak out and bail on Krystal dude and let her take responsibility.

Nelson Amador:
Riley I have tried that many times and it never works.

Riley Owens:
Dude I'm sure it will and I will pick you up tonight.

A woman with blonde hair walks into the classroom.

Riley Owens (whispering): Well we will talk about it later.

The woman goes to her desk and she starts writing on the board.

Clare Robinson:
Morning class. Today we are going to the Cedar River for a science experiment. And this is a very serious field trip and I don't want anybody goofing off. Am I making myself clear?

The rest of the class says yes.

Clare Robinson:
All right well lets get going then.

Cut to:

Int. the bus – morning

Nelson and Riley get on the bus and they sit next to each other.

Riley Owens:
Anyway as I was saying man. I think Mckenna might be throwing a party tomorrow night. Are you going to go?

Nelson Amador:
I don't know I hope so. But I have to get through Krystal though.

Riley Owens:
Dude just leave her to me buddy. I will take care of it.

The bus starts rolling and another girl with blonde hair catches up to them.

McKenna Franks:
Hey Riley. Are you excited for my party tomorrow night?

Riley Owens:
F*ck yeah I am. I can't wait to get fucked up!!!!! And also be with you as well.

Riley and Mckenna start kissing each other on the lips.

McKenna Franks:
Hey Nelson. How are you?

Nelson Amador:
I'm doing good McKenna. Oh by the way congrats on your report. You did really well.

McKenna Franks:
Oh thanks Nelson.

Nelson Amador:
Your welcome McKenna anytime.

The Bus keeps rolling along and Nelson keeps on looking at the window, as the bus is moving.

Cut to:

Ext. the trail by the Cedar River – morning

A lot of the students start getting off the bus. Riley, Nelson, and Mckenna get off the bus.

Clare Robinson:
All right class listen up. Find a partner and I want all of you guys to take notes on the leaves and trees. Have at least 25 sentences down on your paper. Be careful and good luck.

The rest of the class starts to spread out.

Mckenna, Riley and Nelson start exploring the forest.

Cut to:

Nelson, McKenna, and Riley are walking on a trail in the forest.

Nelson keeps on writing notes on his phone.

Riley Owens:
Dude, what is that is over there?

Nelson Amador:
Yeah I don't know buddy. I feel like we shouldn't go over there...

Riley Owens:
I don't know man. It could help us with this assignment.

Nelson Amador:
Dude we are going to get in trouble lets not go over there Riley!!!

Riley and McKenna start climbing the fence and Nelson joins them and hops the fence with them.

Riley Owens:
I wonder what is up there?

Nelson Amador:
I don't know it just a log.

Riley Owens:
Lets see if we can climb up it.

Riley starts climbing up the log that is hanging above the Cedar River in the woods.

McKenna also starts climbing up. And Nelson starts climbing up.

The three of them get to the top of the log.

McKenna Franks:
Wow it is really beautiful up here.

Riley Owens:
Yeah I agree.

Nelson Amador:
Yeah it really is. Well I got 20 sentences. How much do you guys have so far?

Riley Owens:
I think I have around 15.

McKenna Franks:
I have 19.

Nelson Amador:
Okay we should keep writing stuff down.

They all continue to write things down in the forest.

As they are writing things down, Nelson starts looking at the trees.

Nelson closes his eyes and he starts flash backing.

Flash back scene

Roger Amador:
Nelson keep this rock with you!!!

Cut to:

Nelson opening his eyes.

Nelson also starts looking at the flowers and plants around him.

As Nelson is looking at the flowers and planets. McKenna notices something in the ground.

McKenna Franks:
Guys I think there is something under the planets.

Riley Owens:
What do you mean baby girl?

Riley walks over to McKenna and they see a rope hooked on to something.

Riley Owens:
It looks like some sort of lighter. I think I have some matches to light it up. And it could help with our assignment.

Nelson Amador:
I don't know if that's such a good idea.

Riley Owens:
I think we will be okay. Plus we will get extra credit.

Riley starts lighting up matches and he starts lighting up the sparks.

The spark starts flowing through the wire and it starts lighting up the wires.

Nelson Amador:
Riley what the hell is that thing?!...

Riley Owens:
I don't know Nelson but it looks like a machine that someone built.
