INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY – DAY

Bader, Caleb Johnston and Everleigh are standing next to each other holding posters that say “Vote for Bader” for the class president election.

Bader:
“Guys, I have a great feeling that we’re going to win this election.”

Caleb Johnston:
“Sure, we got this.”

Everleigh:
“Aww yeah, we do.”

Suddenly, Tashi approaches them with her own campaign poster.

Tashi:
“You guys actually think you have a chance? You are so ridiculous. Just give up.”

Bader:
“We won’t give up. You’ll see.”

CUT TO:

INT. CLASSROOM – DAY

The results of the election have been posted on the bulletin board.

Bader, Caleb Johnston and Everleigh gather around the board to see the result.

Bader:
“I can’t believe this. We only got a few votes.”

Caleb Johnston:
“We need to change our strategy.”

Everleigh:
“Maybe we need to drop one of us and replace them with someone more popular.”

Bader:
“Yeah, that’s a great idea. We need to gain more supporters.”

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL CAFETERIA – DAY

Bader is walking with his new campaign partner, Tashi.

Bader:
“I’m sorry guys, I just had to do it.”

Caleb Reynolds, one of the babysitters, comes in, looks stressed and exhausted.

Caleb Reynolds:
“Bader, you can’t keep doing this. You’re putting so much stress on yourself and your friends.”

Annie Baltic, the other babysitter, chimes in.

Annie Baltic:
“Caleb’s right. You need to learn how to manage your stress.”

CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

Bader is walking down the hallway with Everleigh and Caleb Johnston.

Tashi runs towards them, looking angry.

Tashi:
“I can’t believe you would do something like this! You’re a liar and a cheat.”

Bader:
“What are you talking about?”

Tashi:
“You vandalized your own sign to frame me and my campaign.”

Caleb and Everleigh both look at Bader, as if demanding an explanation.

Bader:
“I swear I didn’t do anything.”

CUT TO:

INT. CLASSROOM – DAY

Bader is in front of his peers, trying to defend himself.

Bader:
“The reason I’m here now it’s because the paper has put out stories saying that I’m lying and cheating. I just want to be the class president, but it’s just that I need a chance to make everything right.”

Tashi stands up and makes a move.

Tashi:
“Of all those in favor of impeaching Bader, raise your hand and say aye.”

Everyone, except for Everleigh and Caleb Johnston, raise their hand.

Tashi:
“All right, the ayes had it. You’re impeached.”

Bader looks dejected, and Everleigh and Caleb Johnston look like they don’t want to be there.

CUT TO:

INT. BADER’S HOUSE – NIGHT

Bader comes home bruised and battered. Annie sees him and gets concerned.

Annie Baltic:
“What happened to you, Bader?”

Bader:
“Tashi and her friends beat me up.”

Annie:
“Oh no, we need to report this to the school principal tomorrow.”

FADE TO BLACK.
