Bader is walking out of the school gate, looking upset and defeated.

BADER:
(talking to himself) Why do they keep bullying me every day? I can't take it anymore.

Suddenly, Sydney, a new student, walks up to him.

SYDNEY:
Hey, Bader. I'm sorry to see you're having a tough time here.

BADER:
(surprised) Who are you?

SYDNEY:
I'm Sydney. I just moved here a few days ago. I saw how those kids were treating you and I wanted to help.

BADER:
(skeptical) What do you mean, help?

SYDNEY:
Well, I heard you like video games. There's an arcade down the street. Want to come play Ms. Pac-Man with me?

BADER:
(excited) Really? That sounds awesome!

Sydney smiles, and they walk off together.

CUT TO:

INT. ARCADE - DAY

Bader and Sydney are going to the alley . Suddenly, Tashi shows up with Caleb Johnston and Everleigh standing behind her.

TASHI:
Surprise, donkey Kong

Caleb Johnston and Everleigh quickly run away, leaving Bader alone with Tashi and her goons. They start throwing water and flour balloons at Bader.

BADER:
(angry) Stop it! This isn't funny!

TASHI:
(laughs) Aww, what's wrong, Bader? Can't take a little joke?

Bader runs out of the alley, covered in flour and water. He takes a moment to catch his breath, then starts walking home.

CUT TO:

INT. BADER'S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Bader is sitting on the couch, talking to Annie.

BADER:
And then they threw all these balloons at me! It was so humiliating.

ANNIE:
(concerned) Oh, Bader. I'm sorry that happened to you. Did you tell anyone at school about it?

BADER:
No... I'm too afraid to tell anyone. They'll just make it worse.

ANNIE:
(sympathetic) I understand how you feel. But you have to stand up for yourself. You can't let them keep treating you like this.

Bader nods his head, taking Annie's words to heart.

CUT TO:

INT. WESTMORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - DAY

Bader is in class with Tashi and her friends. They start throwing paper balls at him, and one hits him in the head.

TASHI:
hey bacon bit wanna go to the arcade?

BADER:
(fed up) That's it! I can't take this anymore!

Bader stands up and throws a book at Tashi. It flies out of the window and hits a teacher's car. The teacher comes storming in.

TEACHER:
(angrily) Who did this?! Someone's going to be suspended!

Bader, feeling guilty, raises his hand.

CUT TO:

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY

Bader is sitting at a table with Caleb Reynolds and Annie. He looks upset.

CALEB:
(worried) Bader, what happened? Why did you throw that book?

BADER:
(frustrated) I couldn't take it anymore! They're always picking on me and I don't know what to do!

ANNIE:
(caring) Bader, we're here for you. We'll help you find a solution.

Caleb looks around the cafeteria and sees a "Help Wanted" sign at the fish market across the street.

CALEB:
(smiling) Hey, Bader, I have an idea. I saw a sign at the fish market that they're hiring. Maybe you could work there after school and make some extra money.

BADER:
(interested) Really? That sounds like a good idea.

CUT TO:

INT. FISH MARKET - DAY

Caleb is working at the fish market, gutting fish while holding his nose.

CALEB:
(smiling) Hey, Bader! How are you doing?

BADER:
(holding his nose) What is that smell?

CALEB:
(laughing) Sorry about that. I come home smelling like fish every day.

BADER:
(grinning) Gross. But I'm glad I can help out.

Caleb's family walks into the fish market and looks at him disapprovingly.

CALEB'S DAD: (frowning) Caleb, we don't like you working here. We can't stand the smell!

CALEB:
(pleading) But I need the money, Dad. Can't you understand that?

CALEB'S MOM: (sighing) I guess you're right. We'll just have to deal with the smell.

CUT TO:

INT. WESTMORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - DAY

Tashi and her friends are picking on Bader again. He's at his breaking point.

BADER:
(yelling) Leave me alone!

Tashi and her friends laugh at him.

TASHI:
(smirking) Oh, poor Bader. Can't take a little teasing?

BADER:
(defeated) I can't take it anymore. I need to get out of here.

CUT TO:

INT. BADER’S HOUSE - DAY

BADER:
(sadly) I'm sick of the bullying from Tashi and her friends. I can't take it anymore.

ANNIE:
(caring) Bader, we know it's tough, but we don't want you to give up. We're here for you and we'll support you no matter what.

CALEB:
(smiling) And if you need some extra cash, you can always work at the fish market with me.

Bader smiles, feeling a little better.

FADE TO BLACK.
