Maria:
Yeah, how could you be friends with Emma?

Everliegh:

Emma:
Just because Maria and I hate each other, you think you can be friends with both of us?

Maria:
Yeah, if you're friends with Emma, it means you don't like Me,

Everliegh:
No, that's not true! I...

[Emma and Maria walk away, leaving Everliegh in tears]

[Scene:
Hallway - Bader and Caleb Johnston are walking]

Bader:
Hey, Caleb, look! Everliegh is crying!

Caleb:
Oh no, we need to go comfort her.

[Both Bader and Caleb rush to Everliegh]

Bader:
Everliegh, what happened? Why are you crying?

Everliegh:
Emma and Maria... they... they think I have to choose between them!

Caleb:
That's not fair. Real friends accept and support each other no matter what. Don't worry, Everliegh, we're here for you.

[Scene:
Bader's home - Annie and Everliegh]

Everliegh:
Annie, I told Bader and Caleb what happened at school today.

Annie:
(having a flashback) Oh, Everliegh, that reminds me of something that happened to me when I was your age. My two best friends, Grace and Taylor, confronted me with similar accusations. It was tough, but I learned something important about the meaning of friends.

Everliegh:
What did you learn, Annie?

Annie:
That true friends understand and respect each other's choices. Sometimes people can have different friendships, and that's okay. It doesn't mean they don't care about each other.

[Scene:
Slim Z and Caleb Reynolds at work]

Slim Z:
Man, Caleb, I'm exhausted from work.

Caleb Reynolds:
Yeah, me too. Let's take a break and relax.

[Scene:
Bader's home - Slim Z and Caleb Reynolds watching TV]

Slim Z:
You know, Caleb, when I was six back in 2015, I had a cowlick just like Alfalfa Switzer from "Our Gang," also known as "The Little Rascals."

Caleb Reynolds:
Really? That's pretty cool!

Slim Z:
And remember Lev Cameron? When he was 10, he used to wear a Spanky McFarland beanie. Now he's 17!

Caleb Reynolds:
Time flies, huh? By the way, Slim nice badge. What's that for?

Slim Z:
This is an Eagles club badge. Back in 2015, it used to be called the He-Man Woman Haters Club, but now it includes women too. Times change, my friend.

Everleigh:
Hey, Bader! Wanna come play at the park with us?

Bader:
Absolutely! I love going to the park.

Slim Z:
Have fun, little bro! And be careful.

[Scene:
Bader, Everleigh, Caleb, and Fat Mike are at the park, having a great time.]

Bader:
(laughing) Everleigh, look at me on the swing! I can touch the sky!

Everleigh:
(laughing) That’s awesome, Bader! You’re like a little acrobat.

Caleb Johnston:
Hey, guys! Let’s play tag. I bet I can outrun all of you!

[Fat Mike comes into the scene, noticing Bader’s enthusiasm.]

Fat Mike:
(smiling) Mind if I join the fun?

Bader:
(surprised) Uh, sure! You can play with us, Fat Mike.

Fat Mike:
Awesome! Let’s have a great time, everyone.

[Scene:
Bader, Everleigh, Caleb, and Fat Mike are playing happily. Tashi and her goons, including Jerome, approach.]

Jerome:
Hey, little man! Let me hold a dollar, or else…

Bader:
(confused) Or else what?

Tashi:
(mockingly) Or else you will face me, Bader.

Bader:
(panicking) HELP MEEEE!

[Jerome and goons chase Bader while he’s screaming.]

FADE OUT.
