Who did make a lot of money

Were paid by herbalife,

Not for selling

the company's products,

But for buying

the products themselves,

And then

successfully recruiting

Large networks of others

to do the same.

That's why, in addition to

charging deception,

The complaint

alleges that herbalife's

Compensation

structure is unfair,

Because it

rewards its distributors

for recruiting others to join

And purchase products

to advance in

the marketing program,

Rather than in response

To actual retail demand

for the product.
