There you are.

You belong in here.

Oh, hi, there.

Gil:
Hi.

Are these all your puppies?

Adoption:
No, they don't belong to anybody yet.

I'm trying to find them all homes.

Bubble Puppy:
Arf!

Gil:
You mean... he doesn't have anywhere to live?

Adoption:
Not yet, but he will as soon as somebody adopts him.

All these puppies are up for adoption.

Gil:
Adoption?

Adoption:
Mm-hmm.

That means somebody will take these puppies home and give them nice places to live.

Here is the dish for her food and water.

And, oh, here's her leash.

And congratulations.

Here's your new puppy.

Snail Boy:
Thank you.

Puppy:

Adoption:
Yep.

They just adopted her, and now she's their puppy.

Gil:
I wish I had a puppy like that one right there.

Bubble Puppy:
Arf!

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(growling)

Arf!

Aroo?

Arf, arf.

Gil:
(laughs)

He's my favorite.

Bubble Puppy:
(whimpering)

(whines)

Gil:
Goodbye, puppy.

I wish he was my puppy.

Molly:
Hello.

Oona:
Hello.

Deema:
Hello there.

Goby:
Hi.

All:
Good morning, Mr. Grouper.

Mr. Grouper:
Well, good morning, everyone.

Both:
Hi, Gil.

Gil:
Hi.

Goby:
What's wrong?

Molly:
You look sad.

Gil:
I saw a puppy.

Both:
A puppy?

All:
A puppy.

Mr. Grouper:
What kind of puppy, Gil?

Gil:
He was little.

Both:
Oh, he was little.

Gil:
And he went like this.

Arf, arf.

(bubble popping)

Gil:
He doesn't have a home yet.

He was waiting to be adopted.

Mr. Grouper:
Oh, that's good.

That means someone will take him home and give him a nice place to live.

Gil:
I wish I could adopt him.

Mr. Grouper:
It sounds like that puppy would be a great pet, Gil.

Gil:
I know he would.

Mr. Grouper:
What about you guys?

Have you ever thought about what kinds of pets you would like?

Oona:
What kinds of animals make good pets, Mr. Grouper?

Mr. Grouper:
Let's think about what kinds of animals make good pets.

Gil wants to get a...

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(puppy whimpers)

Gil:
Puppy.

Mr. Grouper:
Yep, a puppy.

That's a great pet.

Molly:
I'd like a pet that goes meow.

Mr. Grouper:
What animal goes meow?

(bubble popping)

Cat:
Meow.

Molly:
A cat.

Mr. Grouper:
Cats make great pets too.

Deema:
I'd like a pet that sounds like this: (squawking)

Pretty bird.

Mr. Grouper:
That's called a...

(bubble popping)

Parrot:
Squawk!

Deema:
Right.

A parrot.

Goby:
I want a pet dragon.

Mr. Grouper:
Whoa, a dragon is a little--

Deema:
Hello?

Dangerous.

Goby:
Well, my second best choice is a guinea pig.

Mr. Grouper:
Okay, a guinea pig.

All of these animals make excellent pets.

You just have to find the right pet for you.

Molly:
I want something to love that I can hold and hug.

More than words can ever say, I want a pet today.

I'd consider anything with a paw or tail or wing, even a flea tied to a string.

Yeah, that might just be the thing.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

A big old dog or a kitty cat.

I'd pick a name, then I'd call him that.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

Gil:
If that puppy was my pup, everyday I'd wake up and have my buddy there beside me.

How happy I'd feel inside.

We'd run and play some fetch and then, take a walk, just us two friends.

Molly:
What a great new member of our family, yeah.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

A big old dog or a kitty cat.

I'd pick a name, then I'd call him that.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

Who will love me back.

Bubble Puppy:
Slurp!

All:
(cheers and applause)

Goby:
Come on.

Let's go to the Pet Supply Store.

Hello?

Is this the Pet Supply Store?

I don't think anyone's here.

Deema:
Supplies!

(both laughing)

Deema:
Hi.

How can I help you, customer person?

Goby:
Well, my pet guinea pig is very hungry, and I need to get him some food.

Deema:
I see.

Well, it's like this.

If you get something for your guinea pig, it must start with a "guh" sound.

Goby:
A "guh" sound?

Deema:
You got it.

I have two kinds of food to choose from: green grass and crunchy carrots.

Which one starts with the "guh" sound?

Goby:
I need your help.

Which one starts with a "guh" sound?

Green grass or crunchy carrots?

Little Fish:
Green grass.

Deema:
Great.

Green grass starts with a "guh" sound.

Green grass for your guinea pig.

(munching)

Goby:
Gracias.

Deema:
Goodbye.

Hello, customer number two.

How can I help you today?

Nonny:
I have a chihuahua.

Deema:
Good for you.

What is it?

Nonny:
A chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog in the world and is named after the state in Mexico.

Deema:
Of course it is.

And what does your chihuahua need today?

Nonny:
A chew toy.

Deema:
Okay, champ.

Let's choose a toy for your charming chihuahua.

But I have a challenge for you.

You must choose a chew toy that starts with a "ch" sound.

(toys squeaking)

Deema:
I have three toys to choose from: a shiny shark...

(squeaking)

Deema:
A squeaky squid...

(squeaking)

Deema:
And a chewy chimp.

(squeaking)

Deema:
Which one starts with a "ch" sound?

The shiny shark, the squeaky squid, or the chewy chimp?

Little Fish:
The chewy chimp.

Deema:
Well chosen.

Check out this chewy chimp chew toy.

Nonny:
This will cheer up my chihuahua.

(squeaking)

Nonny:
Thank you.

Deema:
Charming.

(giggles)

Mr. Grouper:
Excuse me.

What time is it?

Deema:
It's time for lunch.

Mr. Grouper:
What time is it?

All:
It's time for lunch.

Mr. Grouper:
What time is it?

All:
It's time for lunch.

Mr. Grouper:
What time is it?

All:
It's time for lunch.

Mr. Grouper:
It's lunchtime.

All:
Hey, what's for lunch?

Oona:
I'm a bunny.

I got baby carrots for lunch.

Molly:
Meow.

I'm drinking milk.

Goby:
Woof.

Oona:
What did you get, Goby?

Goby:
A hot dog?

Dog:
Arf, arf, arf.

(all giggling)

Oona:
Hot dog.

Little Fish:
A hot dog?

That's crazy business.

Molly:
There are all kinds of pets to choose from.

You can--

Gil:
Hi, Molly.

Molly:
Hi, Gil.

What are you doing?

Gil:
Meet my new puppy.

Little Fish:
Woof.

Molly:
Does that look like a puppy to you?

No.

That's not a puppy, Gilly.

That's a fish.

Gil:
I know, but I trained him to act like a puppy.

Little Fish:
Woof, woof.

(panting)

Gil:
Good puppy.

Little Fish:
Meow.

Meow.

Molly:
Catfish.

Gil:
Uh-oh.

Little Fish:
Woof.

Woof, woof.

Gil:
Down, boy.

Heel.

Stay.

Ahh-ahh-ahhhh.

Molly:
(giggles)

Oona:
Come on, Molly.

We're drawing pictures.

Molly:
Come on.

Mr. Grouper:
Whoa, that's a great drawing, Goby.

What is it?

Goby:
It's a gorilla-gator.

It's half-gorilla and half-alligator.

I made it up.

Mr. Grouper:
Wow.

Deema:
Hey, Mr. Grouper, guess what I am.

Mr. Grouper:
Hmm.

Oh, I know.

A chimpanzee.

Deema:
No.

Mr. Grouper:
Whoop, I give up.

Can you guess what Deema is pretending to be?

Deema:
Meow.

Mr. Grouper:
Oh, right.

A kitty cat.

Deema:
Yep.

Mr. Grouper:
Very nice.

Molly:
What are you drawing, Gil?

Gil:
It's me and that puppy I saw in the park.

We're playing.

If he was my puppy, I'd play with him all the time.

Oona:
But, Gil, you can't play with a puppy all the time.

Molly:
You have to take care of him too.

Mr. Grouper:
Molly and Oona are right.

Taking care of a pet is a really big job.

Gil:
What do you have to do?

Mr. Grouper:
Well, let's think about how you take care of a pet.

If your puppy is hungry, you'll have to give it...

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(crunching)

Gil:
Food.

Mr. Grouper:
That's right.

And puppies get thirsty too.

So they need lots of...

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(slurping)

Molly:
Water.

Mr. Grouper:
Oh, yes.

You have to give your puppy plenty of water to drink.

Goby:
But what if your puppy needs to go to the bathroom?

Mr. Grouper:
Well, then you would put him on a leash and take him out for a...

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(panting)

Goby:
Walk.

Mr. Grouper:
That's right.

You take him out for a walk.

Taking care of a puppy can be a lot of work.

Deema:
It's also a lot of fun.

Come on, everybody.

Let's dance.

Get up and dance with us.

Gil:
My puppy and I like to play games.

When we take a walk through the park.

We like to play fetch and hide-and-go-seek.

And when I say, "speak," he barks.

Both:
Everybody.

Come on, puppies, say arf.

Deema:
Arf.

Both:
Come on, puppies, say arf.

Gil:
Arf.

Both:
Come on, puppies, say arf.

Arf.

Gil:
Come on, everybody, let me hear you say arf.

Deema:
Now my kitty cat won't learn any tricks.

Gil:
Nah.

Deema:
Don't even think of teaching her how.

Gil:
Oh, no.

Deema:
But she'll make a noise when she wants her toy.

Both:
Come on and check out her meow.

Everybody.

Here, kitty, kitty, say meow.

Deema:
Meow.

Both:
Here, kitty, kitty, say meow.

Gil:
Meow.

Both:
Here, kitty, kitty, say meow.

Meow.

Deema:
Come on, everybody, let me hear you say meow.

Gil:
Come on, puppies, say arf.

Both:
Arf.

Deema:
Come on, kitties, say meow.

Both:
Meow.

Gil:
Arf.

Both:
Arf.

Deema:
Meow.

Both:
Meow.

Gil:
Now just 'cause it rhymes, let's moo like a cow.

Both:
Moo.

All:
(cheers and applause)

Mr. Grouper:
Line up, everybody.

It's time to go outside.

Outside, outside.

Outside, everybody, outside.

Line up, everybody, line up, line up.

Line up, my gup-gup-gup-gup guppies.

Everybody get out, get, get, get up.

Get out, get everybody, go outside.

Here we go, here we go, here we go.

Everybody, line up, here we go outside.

Everybody, let's go, g-go, go, g-get out, out, out, out, out, out, out, out, outside.

Bubble Guppies.

Oona:
Once upon a time, there lived an emperor...

Goby:
I am the emperor.

Oona:
And more than anything in the world, this emperor wanted a pet.

Goby:
I want a pet.

Oona:
So he rang for his royal advisor.

(gong clangs)

Deema:
Supplies!

Goby:
Ah, yes, my royal advisor.

Deema:
What can I do for you, excellency?

Goby:
I want a pet, a pet dragon.

Deema:
Hello?

Dangerous.

Goby:
Mmm...

A dragon puppy?

Deema:
Mmm...

That seems okay.

You must go to the Temple of the Dragon Master and ask him if you can adopt a dragon puppy.

Oona:
And so the emperor went to the top of the mountain to the Temple of the Dragon Master.

Mr. Grouper:
I am the Dragon Master.

Goby:
I am the emperor, and I am here to adopt a dragon puppy.

Mr. Grouper:
Behold.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh-ruh!

Ruh-ruh-ruh!

Slurp!

Goby:
(giggles)

She's perfect, Dragon Master.

I shall adopt her.

Come on, girl.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh-ruh!

Mr. Grouper:
Wait.

Owning a dragon puppy is a great responsibility.

You must learn two commands that will keep her safe.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh?

Mr. Grouper:
Listen closely.

Command number one: When the dragon puppy has jumped on something and you need her to get down, the command is...

Nonny:
Down.

Goby:
Wow.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh!

Mr. Grouper:
And number two: If the dragon puppy picks something up and you want her to drop it, say...

Nonny:
Drop.

Mr. Grouper:
Good girl.

Now repeat them back to me.

Goby:
Down and drop.

Mr. Grouper:
Very good.

Remember these commands, and you will keep your dragon puppy safe.

You may adopt her.

Goby:
Thank you, Dragon Master.

Mr. Grouper:
You are welcome.

Nonny:
Beware the gorilla-gator.

Goby:
Gorilla-gator?

Mr. Grouper:
Oh, yes, whatever you do, don't wake up the gorilla-gator.

Goby:
Uh-oh.

Oona:
And so the emperor and his new dragon puppy began their dangerous journey back to the palace.

(rocks rumbling)

Goby:
Uh-oh.

We have to be careful.

Right, girl?

Girl?

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh!

Goby:
She shouldn't be up there.

She could get hurt.

Oh, no.

The boulders are gonna fall.

I need your help.

What command should I use?

Town?

No.

Brown.

No.

What is it?

Little Fish:
Down.

Goby:
Down.

That's right.

Say it with me again.

Down.

Good girl.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh-ruh!

Goby:
Thanks for helping me.

Now, let's get out of here.

(rocks rumbling)

(crashing)

Goby:
Close one.

Oona:
And so the emperor and the dragon puppy were almost home.

Goby:
Come on, girl.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh-ruh!

Goby:
Whoa.

It's the gorilla-gator.

We need to be really quiet...

So we don't wake him up.

Okay, girl?

Girl?

(growling)

(snorting)

Goby:
(gasps)

Oh, no.

She's going to wake up the gorilla-gator.

I need your help again.

Good thing we learned the commands down and drop.

Which command should I use?

Little Fish:
Drop.

Goby:
Shh.

Little Fish:
Drop.

Goby:
That's right.

Drop.

Say it with me.

Drop, girl.

Drop.

Whew.

Good girl.

Thanks for your help.

Come on, girl.

Let's go home.

Dragon Puppy:
Ruh!

(snoring)

Oona:
That was a close one.

And so the emperor got his new dragon puppy back to the palace safe and sound.

Deema:
And we lived happily ever after.

Oona:
That's right.

All:
(cheers and applause)

Molly:
Taking care of a pet is really a big job.

Gil:
It sure is, Molly, especially training them.

Check this out.

Come here, boy.

Little Fish:
Woof.

Gil:
Good boy.

See?

I trained him.

No leash.

Molly:
Neat.

But what if he sees another catfish?

Gil:
No problem.

Watch.

Hey, look at me.

I'm a catfish.

Meow.

Meow.

See?

Totally trained.

Molly:
Wow.

Good job.

Gil:
Thanks.

Meow.

Little Fish:
(growling)

Gil:
Uh-oh.

Little Fish:
(barking wildly)

Gil:
Ahhh.

Molly:
Good boy.

Little Fish:
Woof.

Molly:
(giggles)

Nonny:
Um...

Mr. Grouper has a surprise for us.

Gil:
A surprise?

Molly:
Come on.

Gil:
Where are we going, Mr. Grouper?

Mr. Grouper:
Oh, you'll see.

And I think you're gonna like it.

Here we are.

Gil:
The puppy.

This is where I saw the puppy.

Mr. Grouper:
Well?

Go ahead.

All:
(chattering)

Molly:
Come on.

Gil:
Wait until you see him.

Oh, no.

Oona:
Where is he?

Gil:
He's gone.

Adoption:
Well, hi again, Gil.

Nice to see you.

Molly:
Where are all the puppies?

Adoption:
The puppies have all been adopted.

Gil:
Adopted?

Mr. Grouper:
All the puppies found nice homes with people who will take care of them.

Gil:
Even my favorite one got adopted?

Adoption:
He sure did.

Gil:
What's this for?

Adoption:
Oh, and he's gonna need this too.

Gil:
He?

Deema:
He who?

Bubble Puppy:
Arf.

(barking wildly)

Gil:
It's him.

Bubble Puppy:
Arf, arf.

Mr. Grouper:
Say hello to your new puppy.

Gil:
New puppy?

Mr. Grouper:
That's right.

He's coming with us.

Goby:
You mean we can keep him?

Molly:
Really?

Mr. Grouper:
Are you gonna take good care of him?

Gil:
Uh-huh.

I'm gonna feed him...

Goby:
And take him for walks.

Nonny:
And give him water.

Oona:
And train him.

Molly:
And hug him.

Deema:
And...

What's his name?

Gil:
I don't know.

Bubble Puppy:
Arf.

(bubble popping)

Bubble Puppy:
(growling)

Arf.

Aroo?

Arf, arf.

All:
(all laughing)

Gil:
Let's call him Bubble Puppy.

All:
Bubble Puppy!

Gil:
Hi, Bubble Puppy.

Bubble Puppy:
Arf!

Slurp!

Gil:
(laughs)

Good boy, Bubble Puppy.

Mr. Grouper:
Okay, everyone, time to go.

All:
(all talking at once)

Adoption:
Goodbye.

All:
(all laughing)

Gil:
Come on, Bubble Puppy

Come on, boy.

Bubble Puppy:
(whimpering)

Gil:
Help us call Bubble Puppy.

Say, "Here, Bubble Puppy!"

Louder!

All:

Thanks for helping me call him.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

A big old dog or a kitty cat.

I'd pick a name, then I'd call him that.

I want a pet to love, who will love me back.

Who will love me back.
