Jay:
Well, what do you think?

Max:
*In her head* “Forget the food, I want you to lay me on the bed and we can have each other for breakfast. Plus, no one, not even my ex, has done this for me.” It’s amazing. “Should I tell him that I love him?”

Jay starts feeding her.

----------------------------

David:
Aunt V, I gotta take Ray-Ray to the bathroom.

Vera:
Well, he better hold it!

Tuffy:
Just hold it a little longer, Guys. Is that food still in him?

Sidney:
Yea.

Diana puts the Mac and Cheese in the oven while singing along to the song.

Diana:
Heaven and Nature sing(2x)

Janet comes in and puts the dressing in the oven. She puts the Mac and Cheese on the bottom and puts the dressing on the top. Relly comes in and turns up the temperature.

Relly:
There. Double the temperature, half the time. Boom!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jay and Max wake up from their nap.

Max:
*Opens her eyes* Hey.

Jay:
MMM….Um, did you put an alarm on your phone again?

Max:
Yea, but it’s supposed to go off in less than 2 hours. Wait, that’s the fire alarm.

She gets dressed and goes into the kitchen. Diana and Janet take the dishes out of the oven

Diana:
How the hell did these happen?!

Janet:
Well, it was gonna be disgusting. I did you a favor.

Mocha:
Well, then do me a damn favor. Don’t burn down the damn house.

Max:
Listen, no one moves. Mona and Nana put in some flour and it is supposed to drop when there’s a fire. And some smoke too. I don’t know why. But I think Nana told me the smoke goes off when someone steps on one of the tiles. So, no one moves.

Junior and Sky come in.

Sky:
Mommy!

She steps on the tile and smoke comes goes on everyone (Mostly Mocha and Max)

Mocha:
Oh damn!

Junior:
Sorry auntie.

J.B and Tim come downstairs.

J.B:
What the hell is going on?

Mocha:
And some sh*t done got sprayed on me. *Points the hose at Junior* Shut up! Your broke-ass can’t afford to buy me no more outfits like this. This my damn good one!

Everyone at each other’s necks.

Max:
*Sighs* (In her head) “God, why?” Look! Ma, i’ll call my friend and tell her to make you another one. Everyone else just…..Sky, go change your clothes. And I'll clean up the kitchen.

Junior:
I’ll help you, M.

Max:
Just don’t.

Junior:
I'll tell you what. I'll be the better man between the both of us. Okay? I'm sorry.

Max:
*Smirks* You're gonna be the better man between the both of us? Wow!

She points the fire extinguisher on his penis and lets out the smoke.

Max:
*In her head* Why did that feel so good?”

Toni:
Um, good luck with that.

Relly:
No, don’t you dare even try it, T.

Kelly:
Um, I’m not the one who tried to deep-fry the house, right? *Looks at Erica and Cruz*

Cruz:
No, and I don’t think we were making the “Black and Cheese” over there. So, y’all wanna go get some real food? We can go to the place where they make your food in front of you.

Erica:
Ya, I heard that place is amazing.

Max:
*Sighs* (In her head) “Ten more days, till they’re gone.”

Max and Junior start cleaning up.

Max:
I’m done. You?

Junior:
Me too.

Max:
*Sighs* What about the food?

Junior:
I don’t know. We can order take-out or something.

Max:
I guess. We need to find Mona’s recipes.

Jay comes in. Junior leaves them alone.

Jay:
Mocha told me what happened. You ok?

Max:
Yea. I’m gonna find those recipes. And….

She looks at a picture on the wall and walks towards it. She moves it. It’s really a mini door. She sees the tin Mona used to put her recipes in. She turns to Jay and opens it.

Max:
Is this…..

Jay:
Yeah? Wait, didn’t she have five of these tins?

Max:
Oh, right. Which one did we find? *Reads the title* I think it’s the Christmas one. Look, her fried apples. Always use a good pan. That’s why mine never was right. Her green beans. Mom would probably kill someone for these. *Giggles quietly* Mona’s mini chicken tenders.

She turns the cards to the other side. She sees her mother’s old saying. “Skinny Bicthes are evil and they need to be destroyed!”

Jay:
I remember she would write these down.

Max:
She did. Remember? When we would watch one of Mom’s movies or shows, she would write down her lines and make us act them out?

Jay:
Yea. Did you find any applesauce recipes?

Max:
Um, Mona made it so much, I don’t think she wrote them down. *Pulls out a picture of her*

Jay:
I remember this.

Max remembers the first time she saw Mocha again.

Memory:

Mona:
Honey, I got something to show you.

Little Max:
*Closes her eyes*

Mona:
Ok. You're gonna guess the voice. Ok?

She opens the door and Mo’nique comes in to kiss her daughter on the cheek. Max tries not to blush or smile. But she can’t help it. She opens her eyes and sees Mo’nique and Sidney. She runs to Mocha and hugs her.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Max opens her eyes and starts crying.

Max:
I think I’m gonna go outside.

She goes outside and starts crying. She hears footsteps. She turns around and sees Sky.

Max:
*Giggles* What are you doing? You should be asleep.

Sky:
Me and Ray-Ray were asked to come down here and tell you that everyone is sorry. They say you wouldn’t get at us cause we’re your favs.

Max:
*Laughs* And they were right. So, are you ready for Santa?

Sky:
Are we? We get to see all our presents, and eat all the dessert I want, and not get in trouble. And Mona’s treats are the best part of the dinner. It’s my fav. Oh, and this is the year we get to see you dance.

Max:
Yea, You get-Wait, what did you say?

Sky:
Don’t you remember? You said you’ll do a tribute to Aunt Mona and Aunt Nikki this year.

Max:
*In her head* I really gotta shut my damn mouth. *Looks at Ray-Ray* You wanna say something, boo?

Sky:
He’s sleepy. And can I ask you something?

Max:
Yea.

Sky:
Are you smiling when you make the desserts or while you’re dancing/singing? When Aunt Lizzy and Mona cooked, they always smiled. You haven’t smiled a lot, Mommy. Remember what you told me when I couldn't dance? You told me even if I can't dance, keep doing it, always have fun and smile. Maybe you should try it.

Max:
Maybe I will. Now, go back to bed. *Giggles*

She goes back into the kitchen and starts making 3 of the desserts and goes to bed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christmas Day:
Everyone sitting at the table eating dinner.

Mocha:
You want some hams, David?

Diana:
So, guys, how do you guys like macaroni and cheese?

David:
It’s good.

Max:
This is amazing, Auntie.

Tuffy:
Vera and I made the stuffing. Do y’all like it?

Others:
Yea.

Tuffy:
Would you like some, Max?

Max:
Yes, I would.

Mocha:
That’s very nice of y’all.

Max:
Speaking of which, has anyone seen Tim?

Vera:
*Coughs* No, But he said he was coming with someone.

Max:
Who?

Diana:
*Whispers to Vera* Shut up, V.

Vera:
I don’t know. He said the person was coming to see you, Max.
