Chill Factor Page #10

Synopsis: A decade after chemical weapon "Elvis" kills 18 soldiers during a test, military scapegoat Andrew (Peter Firth) gets out of jail and tracks down scientist Richard (David Paymer) in Montana -- who shoots him. Andrew manages to tell his friend Tim (Skeet Ulrich) to get Elvis to safety at a fort 90 miles away. However, if exposed to a temperature higher than 50 degrees, the weapon will go off, so Andrew forces ice-cream-truck driver Arlo (Cuba Gooding Jr.) to help him transport the device.

compunction at all about using this.

BRYNNER:

Hm. The wind's northwest. That oughta

be...Seattle.

BRYNNER:

(off) Or I may be wrong. The breeze

could be gusting south. That'd be

Billings...

BRYNNER:

...maybe even Salt Lake, not to mention

Casper...

BRYNNER:

(off) ...Destry, Fair Oaks....

VITELLI:

Knowing you, Brynner, you've got buyers

waiting to buy! You're not gonna use

that...

VITELLI:

(off) ...here!

BRYNNER:

And I'm warning you, Leo. Don't test me.

Get your men and your machines off my

radar screen in five, or three million

people will die.

BRYNNER:

(off) I'll do it.

VITELLI:

Tell the choppers we're lifting off!

GOMEZ:

Excuse me, sir?!

BRYNNER:

Your colonel's giving you a wise order,

soldier.

VITELLI:

It's not over, Brynner.

GOMEZ:

Sir, we can't just let him get away with

this!

VITELLI:

(overlapping) Gomez, you fight the

battles you can win. Now, we've been

outmaneuvered here. Brynner's next move

is gonna be to get Elvis out of the

country and sell him to the highest

bidder. To do that, he has to have

planned an exit point. That's where we

intercept him. That's where we make our

play. Now you and your men back off.

GOMEZ:

All right, let's move...

GOMEZ:

(off) ...out!

ARLO:

They're takin' off.

MASON:

(grunting) Huh?

ARLO:

They're movin'.

MASON:

(grunts)

the bidding starts.

the dam.

Sir.
