= runs quickly toward the next door and collapses his shoulder to forcefully enter the room.

= stops after immediately entering. Looks around in relief.

Door shuts and clicks quietly behind him.

Vocal character thoughts..

(to self)

... A coffee shop? This looks like... wait.

= notices a single person sitting in the corner by the window.

Character

(to solo person)

... Is that Megan Shiro?

= walks up to the solo woman

Woman doesn't react.

= proceeds to walk around to the far side of the woman.

Character

(general out loud)

... WHAT the...

Woman is stoic, continuously typing.

= had seen something out of belief. The woman seemed to be partially invisible.

Character

(to woman)

... what... what are you?

Woman still unfazed by the comments nor recognition of anything. Continues typing vigorously.

= slowly backs away as he watches the words appear on her screen.

= squints, takes a step forward in confused curiosity to view what she was writing.

= sees the start of a new sentence. The top of the page read, chapter 2.

Woman starts typing

Character

(Under breath out loud)

... the corridor was dark and quiet. The clouds became heavy and sunk into the smog of the mountain nested town.

= looks up from reading her screen to see the clouds drop out of the sky and settle down very near the ground.

= looks back down at the woman's screen.

Character

(Under breath out loud)

... Oblique rays of light pierce through the darkness.

= gets blinded from bright light reflecting of the windows.

Character

(Under breath out loud)

...the storm is coming.

Character

(louder in disbelief)

... the STORM is coming?

Woman's hands suddenly come to an abrupt stop

= looks back at the woman. As the rays continue to shine through the darkness.

The clouds are turning and twisting with the light slowly creating a swirling devastation.

Woman turns head abruptly to stare at =

= eyes wide open and frightened

Character

(out loud)

... AUhhhh.

= reaches for something to grab behind him. Fumbles his grab for the top of a chair back and falls onto his back.

Woman quickly swivels her head back to her screen. Abruptly stands up forcefully sending the chair back screeching across the wood floor.

= props up onto his elbows and starts crawling away backwards still facing the woman.

Woman turns her head to the side to get a glimpse of him out of her peripheral. But the half turned, is the invisible part of her body.

= continues slithering backwards to distance himself.

Woman steps toward the windows, planting her hands on it. Looking down at her feet, slowly with eyes closed tilts head back as to feel the rays of light against her.

= bumps into a booth in the back corner and finally collects his control of limbs to stand up. Watching the woman, = slowly starts to line the far wall and shimmy across it to the door.

Woman opens her eyes as to absorb the energy being emitted from the storm. The glass breaks in front of her and releases a small grin.

The storm swirls into cone and is being drawn into the woman through the invisible side of her body, slowly growing bone structure and mending flesh.

= two tables from the door, bumps into a painting hanging on the wall. It falls and bounces 3 times echoing off the floor.

Character

(out loud)

...Oh sh*t.

Woman turns toward = as if he had interrupted her. Starts walking with pace toward =, the storm following her as she moves. As if it was a continuation of her body.

Character

(screams)

...HELL NO.

= turns on a dime toward the door and takes off from his back foot.

Woman now hovering, flying toward = and the door.

= reaches both hands out and slams into the door blowing it open. Just as = gets through the door, it shuts immediately and locks.

= turns around to see the woman behind the door.

Woman slams into door with her now 3/4 face planted against the window. Screaming as the storm swirls around her.

Character

(to self out loud)

... Yup. This was the second worst thing I've seen after opening a door.

= now calm, walks slowly away looking for another path.
