I had a lot of fun last night.

Thanks a lot for that.

Yeah, (MUMBLING).

Here.

Awesome.

Make sure you take the

garbage out tomorrow night,

that's garbage night.

Oh, yes, thank you.

I know.

And the batteries are

certainly going low,

so just to heads up.

[MAN ON TV] Thank you.

I totally meant to go today.

Listen, (MUMBLING)

to watch the baby.

Well, I gotta call

(MUMBLING) to watch the baby.

[WOMAN ON TV] It's

fine, it's just...

You know, I have that bio

exam I have to study for.

[MAN ON TV] Ah, you're

smart, you'll be fine.

(WOMAN MUMBLES)

Thank you.

You know, I appreciate

everything you've been doing

- for us, right?

- Hi, girl.

No signs of forced entry.

No footsteps from the property.

I think it's safe to

say you're home alone.

Okay.

Well, thanks a lot for checking.

No worries.

It's a big house.

You know, played

mind games on you.

[LARISSA] Mm.

I was kidding.

We don't get out much.

All right.

I'll be in the area.

If you got any problems, just...

You always call.

Will do.

- Thanks again.

Hello.

Hey!

You must be the

new house sitter.

[LARISSA] Yeah,

just for a few days.

(MAN MUMBLES)

Well, if you need

anything I'm real close,

just across the field here.

Okay.

How long have you

lived here for?

All my whole life.

It's a family farm.

Just out for a walk.

It's a good day for a walk.

So, how was your first night?

It was good, other than I

had a bird fly into my window

and die, so...

I did just grab a bag,

throw it in the creek.

So, it was kind of creepy.

Yeah, that's kind of strange.

[LARISSA] Yeah.

Those beauties

usually flock together

this time of year.

Must have got lost or something.

But I'm sure something made

a good meal with him by now.

(CHUCKLES)

Well...

Anyway, I'd better get

back to chop some wood.

I promised the Howards

that I'd burn some

of their scrap back

in the fire pit, so...

You know, you might tease

some smoke if you're bored,

if you wanna come out, warm up.

Yeah, will do.

Why not?

All right, well, uh...

If you need anything...

Keep warm and uh...

Oh, by the way, I'm Dallas.

Nice to meet you, I'm Larissa.

[ALICE] This is going.

Good.

Oh, it's good to hear.

[ALICE] Working, busy.

Okay, nice.

[ALICE] You?

Oh, things are okay here.

[ALICE] Lonely?

Yeah.

Not feeling the greatest, so...

I'm a week late,

so I'm hoping...

[ALICE] Oh.

Yeah, I'm hoping it comes

and then I'll feel better.

[ALICE] That's weird.

Yeah, it's just it's

weird here and I get...

I'm getting these

creepy eerie feelings,

like yesterday I

had to call the cops

because I was hearing all

these noises upstairs.

[ALICE] Creepy!

Like it literally sounded

like someone was up there.

So...

(KNOCKING)

I ended up calling the cop.

And he came and he

checked around and...

You know, he said that no

one's here and, you know,

it's clear, so...

It's just so weird.

I just get these weird feelings.

[ALICE] Have you been working?

Yeah, I've been working

on my lesson plans.

- Okay, well...

- Yeah.

[ALICE] Keep busy.

[LARISSA] Yeah, read

it in the journal.

[ALICE] Uh, I'm actually

in the mall right now.

[LARISSA] Oh, nice.

[ALICE] I just want to

(mumbling) before I start

- to think about it.

- All right.

[ALICE] So, I'm gonna

have to let you go...

Okay, we will talk soon then.

[ALICE] I'll call you

back as soon as I can.

Sure.

[ALICE] Okay.
