The murder of Charles Wilson

at McLarren Hospital

has just been revealed.

The murder took place

of the man accused of murdering

NeW York cop Frank Ochoa

Charles Wilson was undergoing

psychiatric treatment at the hospital.

It is not clear whether the killing

was by other prisoners

but there is evidence that a man entered

Wilson's cell disguised as a doctor.

Gang warfare downtown tonight

turned into looting

and violence against the police.

This morning Inspector Mankiewicz

denied that two murders

were the work of a vigilante.

Rumors persist that the spate of street

killings, by a person unknown,

may be by a citizen turned vigilante.
