Synopsis: It is the story of a young man who leaves Nepal with 2 bags with him to the United States of America to build an american dream. He left his well established career, family and friends behind in the hope that he will have a great future ahead. He went to the school in the United States for an MBA. He worked hard in the school and completed his school with the highest GPA. He was awarded the outstanding graduate student for his GPA, contribution for the earthquake relief in Nepal and representing the university in the international collegiate business strategy competition. After graduation, the young man was connected to a girl in Nepal through one of his friends. The young man started dating the girl online for a year and then they decided to get married. The young man went to Nepal and got married to the girl after 4 days he was in Nepal. Both the young man and his wife came to United States after the wedding. They were having the best time in their lives together and were having fun

EXT. KATHMANDU AIRPORT - DAY

We see a young man, RAKESH, carrying two bags, looking around in wonder. He is leaving his established life in Nepal to pursue the American Dream.

CUT TO:

INT. MBA CLASSROOM - DAY

Rakesh is sitting in the front row of the classroom, intently listening to the lecture.

CUT TO:

EXT. UNIVERSITY CAMPUS - DAY

Rakesh is standing on stage, receiving the Outstanding Graduate Student award for his contributions to earthquake relief in Nepal and representing the university in an international collegiate business strategy competition.

CUT TO:

INT. RAKESH'S APARTMENT - DAY

Rakesh is Skyping with his girlfriend, PRIYA, in Nepal. They have been dating online for a year and decide to get married.

CUT TO:

INT. US EMBASSY IN NEPAL - DAY

Rakesh and Priya are getting their visa to enter the United States.

CUT TO:

EXT. SCENIC DRIVE - DAY

Rakesh and Priya are driving on a scenic road in the United States, enjoying the beauty of the country.

CUT TO:

INT. UNIVERSITY CLASSROOM - DAY

Priya is taking English language classes at a university 45 miles away. Rakesh drives her to and from school every day, working a flexible schedule to accommodate her needs.

CUT TO:

INT. IMMIGRATION OFFICE - DAY

Rakesh and Priya are trying to convert Priya's immigration status from dependent to student, but their application is rejected twice during the Trump era. Rakesh enrolls in a graduate program in health informatics to maintain Priya's dependent status while their green card application is in progress.

CUT TO:

INT. RAKESH'S OFFICE - DAY

Rakesh is stressed and exhausted from working full-time and going to school. His friend suggests applying for Canadian Permanent Residency.

CUT TO:

INT. IMMIGRATION OFFICE - DAY

Rakesh and Priya's Canadian PR is approved within two months, and they move to Canada. Rakesh lands a job at a bank, but he's not satisfied with it.

CUT TO:

INT. MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OFFICE - DAY

Rakesh is interviewing for a job at the municipal government. He gets the job and works hard, getting promoted to acting manager and then permanent manager.

CUT TO:

INT. UNIVERSITY CLASSROOM - DAY

Priya is pursuing a degree in social work while they have a one-year-old daughter.

CUT TO:

EXT. PARK - DAY

Rakesh, Priya, and their daughter are having a picnic in a beautiful park, laughing and enjoying their life in Canada.

FADE OUT.
