DAVID Not great
DETECTIVE COLE Why do you say that?
DAVID:
She started crying and telling me
how much of a piece of sh*t I was. and how she wishes that she never met me
DETECTIVE COLE:
That must have been hard to hear
DAVID:
...I tried to get her to stop but
she wouldn't listen
DETECTIVE COLE:
Did it escalate past yelling?
DAVID:
She threw her f***ing fork at me
and said that she was going to kill me if I didn't leave
DETECTIVE COLE How did that make you feel?
DAVID:
I.... I... I don't know
DETECTIVE COLE:

DAVID (CONT'D) I'm sorry for the outburst
DETECTIVE COLE:
I understand that this is a
difficult topic for you
DAVID It's just...
DETECTIVE COLE It's just what?
DAVID:
It's just that I can't control my
anger sometimes
DETECTIVE COLE:
Is that what happened that night
with your wife? Did you lose control of your anger?
DAVID:
I just wanted her to stop...
David starts to cry
Stop what? David does not respond
DETECTIVE David, what did you
stop?
DAVID stop yelling at me.

her and threw her across the room, and I should have stopped then but I lost control
DETECTIVE COLE:
What do you mean you lost control?
DAVID:

DAVID (CONT'D)
