[Mary] The weather here is great!
[Ivy] Mom, stop trying to make me not go to New York. I wanna go.
[Mary] But why?
[Ivy] I wanna pursue my dreams.
[Mary] And what dreams are that?
[Ivy] Becoming an actor and becoming famous.
[Mary] Aren't you already famous?
[Ivy] Yes. My fans love me. But, I only play kid games.
[Mary] How, are you getting there?
[Ivy] I'm flying there.
[Mary] Did you buy the tickets?
[Ivy] Of course mother. I got it from the app.
[Mary] Alright?
[Ivy] I'm gonna fly there and move away from this piece of-
[Mary] Language!
[Ivy] I wasn't even gonna say anything bad.
[Mary] Sure you weren't.
[Ivy] I promise I will be good and safe in New York.
[Mary] New York isn't the same as this place.
[Ivy] Mom, we live in Texas. No one films a movie or a show here.
[Mary] That is true.
[Ivy] I'm going and you can't stop me! I guess she stopped me.
*theme song plays*
[Ivy] Excuse me, I need to get through. I have a plane ride to New York.
[Mike] Alright, ticket?
[Ivy] Uh, right here!
*Ivy hands Mike the ticket*
[Mike] Thank you. Enjoy New York mam.
[Ivy] Have fun in this place.
*Ivy walks onto the plane*
[Mary] Mike?! You weren't supposed to let her on.
[Mike] I'm gonna get fired if I don't Mary!
[Mary] Let me in there!
[Mike] No!
[Mary] Let me in there! Or I will scream what you did last Christmas.
[Mike] I'm not letting you in there.
[Mary] Alright then-
[Mike] Security!
*Security grabs Mary*
[Mary] No! You can't do this to me! I need to see my baby!
*Ivy seats down*
[Ivy] Hi there!
[Kate] Hi? Who are you?
[Ivy] Oh sorry. I'm Ivy.
[Kate] I'm Kate.
[Ivy] Where are you headed to?
[Kate] This plane takes you to only one place. I'm going to New York.
[Ivy] Oh, I forgot.
[Kate] I'm gonna switch seats.
*Kate sits in another seat*
[Ivy] Three seats to myself?! This is the best day ever!
*the plane lands*
[Ivy] We're here already?
[Lucy] The plane is fast.
[Ivy] Oh, okay. Is the weather nice here?
[Lucy] Oh of course.
*Ivy walks out of the plane*
[Ivy] I love the smell of the air.
[Lucy] Don't get used to it. There's a lot of homeless people here and they stink.
[Ivy] Don't be mean.
[Lucy] Whatever.
*Lucy walks away*
*Ivy walks into an apartment building*
[Ivy] Hi there.
[Zoe] Hi there. Who are you?
[Ivy] Ivylis Rivera.
[Zoe] Let me look
*Zoe looks at the computer*
[Zoe] Ah, there you are. Room 26.
[Ivy] Thanks!
*Ivy walks to her room*
[Ivy] Here we go!
*Ivy walks into her room*
[Ivy] Hello?
[Emily] Hello! You must be my new roommate. We're gonna have so much fun together.
[Ivy] I guess we are.
*music plays*
[Mary] I miss my baby.
[Bob] Why don't you go see her?
[Mary] We don't have the money.
[Bob] I miss her too Mary. But you're gonna have to get over her sometime.
[Mary] I don't know if I will be able to.
[Bob] Mary, you have to!
[Mary] Fine, I'll try.
*Mary lays in bed*
[Mary] I can't do it! I'm going to see my baby!
*Emily grabs a cup of coffee and gives it to Ivy*
[Ivy] Thanks, I guess.
[Emily] It's so great to have a roommate.
[Ivy] Wait you didn't have a roommate before me. Girl, that's crazy.
[Emily] Yeah, I know. I guess no one really liked me.
[Ivy] You get assigned a room. No one gets to pick.
[Emily] I picked.
[Ivy] When was that?
[Emily] 4 years ago.
[Ivy] See, they changed it up.
[Emily] Huh, I never really thought about it.
[Ivy] No one thinks about stuff the way I do. Before this my mom tried to make me stay where I lived.
[Emily] Where do you live?
[Ivy] Texas.
[Emily] I live in Chicago. Why did you come to New York?
[Ivy] I wanted to become an actor.
[Emily] Girl, why didn't you say something before?
[Ivy] I don't know.
[Emily] Well, come on. We're gonna try on some dresses.
[Ivy] Okay.
*Ivy tries on a Blue dress*
[Ivy] This one?
[Emily] It's way too glossy.
*Ivy tries on a pink dress*
[Ivy] This one?!
[Emily] It's way too-
*somebody knocks*
[Ivy] I'll get it.
[Emily] Okay.
*Ivy opens the door*
[Ivy] Mom?!
