But when confronted with incidents,

that seem to have no logical cause

humans react differently

from other animals.

We go in search of meaning

where, there is none.

When that man pinned me down

that night and whispered

a threat into my ears, why didn't

I put up a bigger fight?

What happens,

when something desirable is born

out of something undesirable?
