up, up, up, up

Ohh

Ohh

Up, up, up, up

Gonna lift me

up, up, up, up

Love's gonna lift me up

Up, up, up, up

Gonna lift me

up, up, up, up

Love's gonna lift me up

I'm gonna carry on

Ohh

I'm not giving up

Said love's gonna

lift me up

["La Isla Bonita" begins]

Last night I dreamt

of San Pedro

Just like I'd never gone

I knew the song

A young girl with eyes

Like the desert

It all seems like yesterday

Not far away

Tropical the island breeze

All of nature wild and free

This is where I long to be

La Isla Bonita

And when the samba played

The sun would set so high

Ring through my ears

and sting my eyes

Your Spanish lullaby

Hey, hey!

I fell in love

with San Pedro

Warm wind carried

on the sea

He called to me

Te dijo te amo

I prayed that

the days would last

They went so fast

Tropical the island breeze

All of nature wild and free

This is where I long to be

La Isla Bonita

And when the samba played

The sun would set so high

Ring through my ears

and sting my eyes

Your Spanish lullaby

I want to be

Where the sun

warms the sky

When it's time for siesta

You can watch them go by

Beautiful faces

No cares in this world

Where a girl loves a boy

And a boy

Loves a girl

Last night I dreamt

of San Pedro

It all seems like yesterday

Not far away

Tropical the island breeze

All of nature wild and free

This is where I long to be

La Isla Bonita

And when the samba played

The sun would set so high

Ring through my ears

and sting my eyes

Your Spanish lullaby

Tropical the island breeze

All of nature wild and free

This is where I long to be

La Isla Bonita

And when the samba played

The sun would set so high

Ring through my ears

and sting my eyes

Your Spanish lullaby

Tropical the island breeze

All of nature wild and free

This is where I long to be

La Isla Bonita

And when the samba played

The sun would set so high

Ring through my ears

and sting my eyes

Your Spanish lullaby

Hey, hey!

Flamenco!

Here we go!

Por que?

Por que? Por que?

Si, si, si, si, si, si.

["Dress You Up" begins]

You've got style

That's what

all the girls say

Satin sheets

And luxuries so fine

All your suits

Are custom made

In Barcelona

But I've got something

That you'll really like

Hey, hey!

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over, all over

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over your body

Feel the silky touch

Of my caresses

They will keep you

Looking so brand-new

Let me cover you

With velvet kisses

I'll create a look

That's made for you

Hey, hey!

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over, all over

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over your body

Gonna dress you up

in my love

In my love

All over your body

In my love

All over, all over

From your head

down to your toes

Get into the groove

Boy you gotta prove

Your love to me

Yeah

Get up on your feet

Yeah, step to the beat

Boy what will it be

Music can be

such a revelation

Dancing around you feel

the sweet sensation

We might be lovers

if the rhythm's right

I hope this feeling

never ends tonight

Only when I'm dancing

can I feel this free

At night I lock the doors

Where no one else can see

I'm tired of dancing here

all by myself

Tonight I wanna dance

with someone else

Whoo, whoo, whoo

Love you, whoo, whoo

Are you ready to party?

It's time for a drink.

Come on.

Whoo!

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over, all over

Gonna dress you up

in my love

All over your body

Gonna dress you up

in my love

In my love

All over, all over

All over your body

In my love

All over, all over

From your head down

to your toes

Hey, hey, hey!

Hey, hey, hey!

Gracias seors y seoritas!

Oh, my God, I could use

some tequila right now.

Estoy listos?

Listos?

- Uno.

- Uno!

- Dos.

- Dos!

- Tres.

- Tres!

Catch, motherfuckers.

They're so talented.

These guys think they can just

go around looking good.

That's not enough, right?

That gets you in the door.

That doesn't keep you

in the room.

As you can see,

there's a lot of crazy stuff

going on in my show, right?

Yeah.

Pretty good for a small-town

girl from Detroit.

But Detroit made me

what I am today.

I tell you,

we got a lot of great things

going on in Detroit right now.

People said this city

was fallen to sh*t

and that we were at ground zero,

but guess what happens

when you're at ground zero.

You can only go up.

Okay?

Let's go!

Go here, and we gonna work.

We gonna work on either side.

Growing up in Detroit,

I thought it was, like,

such a Podunk place,

complained about it incessantly,

and couldn't wait

to get out of here.

Which is a blessing,

because what you need

to grow is resistance.

Just like a seed has

to push against the earth

to become a great tree,

the same thing goes for

a human being.

We teach young kids

discipline with self,

humbleness.

I have nothing but gratitude,

even though I wanted

to escape it.

The automotive industry

was once thriving

and kept many families alive,

and then of course it collapsed

and Detroit fell to sh*t.

And now it's having

a renaissance,

and I feel like we're

a part of that renaissance,

and that makes me

feel really good

to be a part of it,

to bring attention back to it,

and to give back to a city

that ultimately

inspired me to be

the person I am today.

They have to do their homework

before they can train?

Books are always

the most important.

I'm not worried

about the next champion.

I'm worried about

the next scholar.

You know, there's no point

in being a rebel

unless you have

something to fight for.

My intentions are never

to break things down,

just to destroy,

but to break down barriers

and to destroy discrimination,

prejudice, hatred, and bigotry.

And that's what being

a rebel heart is all about.

Now, I want to dedicate

this next song

to all of my rebel heart fans

who provided the artwork

that you're about to see

behind me.

They did all the illustrations.

Drawings poured in.

We had to say no

to a lot of people.

But I want to thank you

for your generosity

and your creativity.

So if there are rebel hearts

in the audience tonight,

why don't you put

your hands together?

["Rebel Heart" begins]

I live my life

like a masochist

Hearing my father say

Told you so, told you so

Why can't you be

like the other girls

I said oh no,

that's not me

And I don't think

that it'll ever be

Thought I belong

to a different tribe

Walking along,

never satisfied, satisfied

Tried to fit in

but it wasn't me

I said oh no,

I want more

That's not

what I'm looking for

So I took the road

less traveled by

And I barely

made it out alive

Through the darkness

somehow I survived

Tough love,

I knew it from the start

Deep down in the depth

Of my rebel heart

I've spent some time

as a narcissist

Hearing the others say

look at you, look at you

Trying to be so provocative

I said oh yeah,

that was me

All the things I did

just to be seen

Outgrown my past

And I've shed my skin
