FADE IN:

INT. THE STRINGERS' HOME - SALLY'S ROOM - DAY

SALLY (9), a bright-eyed, blonde haired , freckled girl with a wild imagination, sits on her bed, surrounded by her favorite storybooks. The room is a whimsical mix of pastel colors, with fairy lights strung across the ceiling. She clutches a worn-out book titled "The Monsters of Magic Hour." Her eyes sparkle with excitement as she sings along to an old vinyl record playing on her turntable, the melody of "Welcome to Magic Hour" filling the room.

Sally's MOTHER, SUSIE (late 30s, warm and slightly frazzled), pokes her head in.

SUSIE:

(smiling)

Alright, sweetheart. Time to put the books away. Dinner's almost ready.

Sally reluctantly closes her book and hops off the bed, the record continuing to play.

SALLY:

(singing)

But Mom, the Magic Hour is here...

Susie laughs and gently takes the record off, placing it back on the shelf.

INT. THE STRINGERS' DINING ROOM - EVENING

The family gathers for dinner. Sally's FATHER, SIMON (early 40s, a hardworking but loving dad), sits at the head of the table.

SIMON:

(to Sally)

How was school today, kiddo?

SALLY:

(excited)

Dad, I learned about ancient Egypt!

Simon

With Monster? (Laughs) Did they teach you about the Mummy's Curse?

Sally nods enthusiastically, her eyes wide with wonder.

Sally

Yes, and how mummies come to life at night!

Simon

I don’t know! How?

Sally

Well, during the Magic Hour, when the moon is just right, they say you can. (Laughs)

Simon

What a joke, Sally. You know mummies don't come to life. That's just make-believe.

SALLY:

(pouts)

But what if it's true, Daddy?

Susie

(smiling)

Let's not scare ourselves before bedtime, okay?

The family shares a warm laugh as they dig into their meal.

INT. THE STRINGERS' HOME - LIVING ROOM - LATER

Sally's eyes droop as she watches a black-and-white movie with her parents. The film's score is eerie, with shadows dancing on the wall.

ON THE TV SCREEN

The Invisible Man sneaks around, his bandaged hand reaching out to grab something unseen.

SALLY:

(whispers)

Look, Daddy, the Invisible Man!

SIMON:

(playfully)

He's not real, Sally. Just a man in a clever suit.

Susie looks over and notices Sally's interest piqued.

SUSIE:

(whispers to Simon)

Maybe we should switch to something less... spooky.

Simon nods in agreement, and they change the channel.

FADE TO:

INT. THE STRINGERS' HOME - SALLY'S ROOM - NIGHT

Sally lies in bed, the moon casting a soft glow through the window. The house is quiet except for the distant murmur of her parents watching TV. She closes her eyes, the images of mummies and invisible men dancing in her head.

SALLY:

(whispers to herself)

What if... it is true?

The room suddenly seems alive with whispers of magic. Her eyes fly open to find her book, "The Monsters of Magic Hour," floating gently in the air. It opens to the first page, and the illustrations begin to move, the characters coming to life before her very eyes. As the bubble towards to Sally This is Francesca.

EXT. Odyssey Land - Day

The vibrant and whimsical landscape of ODYSSEY LAND stretches out before Sally as she steps through the pages of her book. It's a place where every imaginable fantasy comes to life. The air is thick with magic, the smell of cotton candy and the distant sound of laughter and music. The colors are so vivid, it's as if they've been painted by hand.

Sally gasps as she sees the ODYSSEY PEOPLE, a diverse group of magical beings, dancing and playing in the town square. There are creatures with wings, mermaids splashing in a fountain, and a giant talking spider playing the fiddle. The sight is overwhelming but thrilling.

SALLY:

(awed)

Magic Hour... it's real!

FRANCESCA, the good witch of Magic Hour, appears beside Sally, her emerald green eyes sparkling. She's a beautiful and youthful woman, with a warm smile that puts Sally at ease.

FRANCESCA:

Welcome, Sally Stringer! Your dreams have brought you to our world.

Sally looks around in amazement.

SALLY:

(stuttering)

I-I'm dreaming?

FRANCESCA:

This is no ordinary dream. Magic Hour is where the lines between reality and imagination blur. It's a place where every heart's wish can come true. This is Penny and see the feet sticking out of your house but Penny’s dead, right?

Sally nods, her eyes wide.

SALLY:

(whispers)

How did you know?

FRANCESCA:

I know many things, dear. But I'm here to help you. You see, your belief in magic has brought you here, and there's a reason for it.

Odyssey People laughs at Penny's death.

Sally

What was that?

Francesca

(serious but kind)

Ah, the Odyssey People. They don't always understand human feelings. They need a lesson in compassion. But let's not worry about that now. Your arrival is no coincidence.

SALLY:

(curious)

What do you mean?

FRANCESCA:

Magic Hour is facing a great challenge. A dark force is threatening to consume our world. Only a pure heart like yours can help us.

Sally's eyes widen with determination.

SALLY:

I'll do anything to help!

FRANCESCA:

Good. It’s all right, you may all come out and thank to her.

(Singing)

Come Out, come out, wherever you are

Thank Sally Stringer, our shining star

Her heart is pure, her soul is bright

Her belief in us gives us our might

The creatures and characters of Magic Hour emerge from their hiding places, revealing themselves to Sally. They bow and curtsy, offering her tokens of their gratitude: a bouquet of candy-colored flowers, a tiny treasure chest filled with glittering sand.

FRANCESCA:

(continuing the song)

The moon is high, the stars align

The Magic Hour is yours, Sally, yours to shine
