Chapter Twelve 

                                             

TyAna's P.o.v 

 

                     

We opened the door for Mya and all looked at each other before I started to talk. 

 

                     

"I'm nervous yall" 

 

                     

"Why?" 

 

                     

My lil cousin, Britnay asked. I haven't told her about my pregnancy, so she was clueless. 

 

                     

"Brit , Im pregnant." 

 

                     

"What !!" 

 

                     

"Calm down girl. You heard me." 

 

                     

"Oh my goddd !!! I'm excited" 

 

                     

"Me too, but Im nervous to tell Ma and the rest of the family." 

 

                     

"I'm sure they will accept it" Mya added. 

 

                     

"I know they will. I don't know why I'm nervous. But I have butterflies" 

 

                     

"That's a good feeling boo" Shawna said and I started to tear up. 

 

                     

"What's the matter babe?" 

 

                     

"Sh*t yall , I've been so emotional lately. I couldn't tell you if I tried." 

 

                     

We all did a lil laugh. And I fanned myself and decided it was time. I pulled out my phone and hit three and called my momma on speed dial. 

 

                     

"Hello?" 

 

                     

"Ma, get then family together in the living room for me I have to tell y'all something." 

 

                     

"Ok, is everything alright?" 

 

                     

"Yes ma'am." 

 

                     

"Alright well everyone is ready for you. Mainly they adults." She added.  

 

                     

"Alright, I'll be in there in a second" 

 

                     

"And you sure everything is ok?" 

 

                     

"Yes momma" 

 

                     

"Ok" 

 

                     

I hung up the phone and looked at Britney, Mya, and Shawna. They were all looking at me. And I felt my little baby bump. Motivation. 

 

                     

"Show time" Britney said and I nodded my head and headed towards the door. The girls followed me out my room and into the living room where the family waited. Britney went to the couch. Shawna stood by the door. Mya stood by Dre.. Which is who I noticed from last night and just met earlier today. I took a mental note to ask about that later. I noticed everybody's eyes on me and I got nervous again and my hands started to sweat. I felt a hand on my lower back and started to feel better. I looked up and saw Chris standing beside me. 

 

                     

"Family, Chris and I have a announcement." 

 

                     

They all just looked and waited on me to say what they wanted to hear. 

 

                     

"I am 12 weeks...." 

 

                     

My voice went out and Chris finished off.. 

 

                     

"Pregnant" 

 

                     

The family started smiling and the whole room was filled with cheers. My mom came up to me and hugged me and congratulated Chris.. 

 

                     

"But, that's not all..." 

 

                     

Everyone paused and so did I. I looked at Chris with question in my eyes. He winked at me then continued. 

 

                     

"TyAna and I have been dating for four years and I can't imagine another day without her..." 

 

                     

He paused and let the family say their "Awwwws" . I stood still a little confused. 

 

                     

"Im so excited about this baby and I will do anything for her and her mom, yes I know it's a girl." Low laughs and chuckles surrounded the room. 

 

                     

"But, I can't bring her into this world with her mommy as my girlfriend.. We're much more than that right?" 

 

                     

He then reached in his pocket and pulled out a black case.. He grabbed my hand as one of his knees touched the ground. Oh my f***ing goodness!!! He is really? No. No. Can't be.. He opened the case and lorddd it was gorgeous. I didn't realize I was crying until I felt a tear roll off my face. I knew my family was saying things but my focus was on Chris only. 

 

                     

"TyAna Nicole Jordan will you marry me?" 

 

                     

"Yes... Yess !!! Oh my god yesss!!!!" 

 

                     

"Yes?" he said to reinsure. 

 

                     

"Yes! Chris Rankins!" 

 

                     

He slid the ring on my ring finger and rose up and picked me up. My legs wrapped around his body and my lips met his. We kissed and said I love you to each other like 50 times. He put me down and wiped my tears. I knew I was smiling too hard as I held out my hand to show everybody my ring . They clapped and cheered. 

 

                     

"Ooowwweeee" 

 

                     

"You go girl" 

 

                     

"That's soo cute." 

 

                     

"Look at the camera" 

 

                     

2 hours later 

 

                     

Everyone was gone except for the crew and my momma, but she was leaving. 

 

                     

"Ty !!" 

 

                     

Ma called my name from outside and I joined her in her car hopping in the passenger seat. She just looked at me and smiled. 

 

                     

"I'm so happy for you and Chris" 

 

                     

"Thank you ma." 

 

                     

"And congrats again on being an engaged mommy to be" 

 

                     

"Thank you Mommy." 

 

                     

"I always liked Chris too" 

 

                     

"Me too, Ma I was soo shocked. I had no clue at all" 

 

                     

I looked down at the pretty diamond ring. 

 

                     

"I knew you were." 

 

                     

She continued to talk for another five minutes then said she had to go. And I kissed her on her cheek then walked back in the house. 

 

                     

Sorry this is soo short but better than nothing.. Right? (; 

 

Chapter Thirteen 

                                             

Chris P.o.v  

 

                     

I was surprised that I actually went through with it. When she said "yes yes" my heart was filled. I knew I had to make her wifey. . .   

 

                     

"Wassup man?" Dre asked walking in the living room with Mya behind him.
