Chapter Forty 

 

TyAna & Chris P.o.v  

Last thing I heard was "PUSH!" then a baby's cry.. 

"Baby, baby .. Wake up for me.. We did it baby! You did it!! Wake up baby please."  

I heard Chris say with worry in his voice.. My eyes slowly opened and I seen a tear on his cheek.. Awww.. 

I opened my mouth to talk but nothing came out. My voice was gone.  

"Aw, baby you're okay." 

I nodded my head "yes" as another tear fell from his eye. He quickly wiped it and sniffed any extra tears away. I smiled and cleared my throat. I looked around. 

"Why you crying baby?" I said in a whisper. 

"I'm just soo happy. Guess what we had baby!" 

By the smile on his face I knew exactly what the gender of our baby was.  

"Girl..?" 

"Yess!" 

"Have you seen her?" 

"I seen a glimpse.. When you passed out I came by your side and the doctors took her to go get cleaned up." 

"I passed out?? Geesh..."  

"Yea, as soon as she came out , you were out." We shared a little laugh then he got serious and ran his fingers through my hair.  

"I'm glad you're okay, seriously."  

"Yes, I feel good. Must be the medicine I'm on. I'm just a little empty."  

"Yea, because the baby is out."  

The doctor come in with a small pink blanket wrapped around our small baby girl. Everything was now moving in slow motion.  

I felt my tears whelming, I saw the top of her head. . The tears fell...  

"Here's your beautiful baby girl," The doctor said cheerfully. First glance, "Wow she's gorgeous." Was the first and only thing I could say before the tears stormed.  

She was so pretty with her pretty dark hair, button nose, and small soft pouting lips. She opened her mouth and yawned then I noticed how chunky her cheeks were. I passed her to Chris.  

"She's 6 pounds 7 ounces. She's very healthy." The doctor said. I wasn't due until January, but here she is. Healthy as ever you would have never known she was a little premature because she was so healthy.  

I listened to the doctor but my eyes were glued on Chris and the baby.  

"What are you guys going to name her?" Another doctor said with a blank birth certificate.  

Chris and I made eye contact. He nodded then I spoke,  

"Chyna TyMari Rankins"  

"Beautiful..."  

"Mr. Rankins , I need for you to sign here" 

2 hours later.  

Shortly after they took Chyna away I drifted to a deep sleep.  

Waking up, I instantly felt loved. My mom was here along with my cousin, Britney, Shawna, and Mya. I looked around for Chris but didn't see him. 

"Well hello there." Mya said, being the first to notice that I was now awake.  

"How are you feeling?" 

"Calm.. Relaxed." 

"Better enjoy being relaxed now, it is the last time for a while." My mom said walking over to stand by my side.  

"Congratulations"  

"Thank you guys. Have you all seen Chyna?"  

"Yes, she's so gorgeous." Britney said. 

"I agree. She looks just like the both of you already... It's scary." Shawna said and we shared a laugh.  

"When Chris gets back, I'm heading out." My mom said, I looked out the window and noticed that it was getting dark.  

"Okay, where is he?"  

"Him and Dre went by you guy's house to get a few things." Mya said. 

"They're bringing you food too." 

Chris :
 

I sat on the couch, stretched and sighed.  

"You okay, man?" 

Dre asked.  

"Yea, I'm great" 

"So how does it feel to be a dad?" 

"Sh*t, right now it's surreal. It has settled in, but then again it hasn't. I love Ty to death. Now that Chyna is here, I'm ready to give TyAna my last name. She can't be the only one that's not a Rankins." 

"I know how you feel man. Have you guys started planning?"  

"Yea, she been working sh*t out in her planner." 

Dre gave me a heavy pat on the back.  

"My boy a Family Man now." 

"Damn right, and it feels so good. This is exactly what I needed in my life." 

"I can definitely agree to that. I'm not on yo level yet. But better believe that's what I'm aiming for. " 

"I feel that one hundred percent"
