"I feel you on that."
"Naw you don't."
"Well I HEAR YOU THEN, nigga damn !" I laughed at his ass.
"Yea, that's a better word."
"Shut yo ass up."
About a hour later they came from the back room. Ty had on shorts equally as short as Mya's. Mya headed toward the front door while Ty came and kissed Chris on the cheek.
"Where the hell y'all going ?"
"Out for drinks."
"Where's your clothes?"
"On me."
"Turn around." She turned real quick. I laughed.
"Uh uh . Do a SLOW 360 turn." She did. "Go change shorts. It's cold as hell outside anyway."
With out any objections or complaining she walked back to their bedroom.
Five minutes later she walked out in some different shorts. Still short , but not as short. This time she headed straight for the door without stopping in the kitchen.
"Be back later!" she yelled then the front door closed.
"Got that ass in check" I said.
"Yea, she know wassup."
"Apparently hell. Mya woulda smacked my ass!!"
We both laughed.
"Naw we on two different levels with our women."
"You right about that sh*t. I thought we was at least on the right path."
"Yall were and still are, that ain't your baby man."
Chapter Forty-Two
Mya's P.o.v
I did not expect to see Dre at Ty's house but when I did it made me mad all over again. Like, I started off sad and worried, then that went to anger. Then after hours of no reply I started to be worried, so I came to Ty for advice, then I seen his ass and got mad all over again, but only because I knew he was safe.
"I definitely need a drink." I said looking over at Ty as I stopped at a stop sign.
"What's on your mind ?"
"I'll tell you when we get there."
"Ok. Have you talked to Shawna?"
"Yea, she has a date tonight."
"Oh sh*t , that's wassup." Ty said in a happy ass kiddy voice.
"Right."
About 15 minutes later we arrived at a bar called "Mixed"
As we walked in all eyes shifted to us. It was awkward because I didn't feel like I was all that tonight to be catching stares.
"What everybody looking at?" I asked Ty as we took a seat at the bar.
"That ass." When she said that I cracked up laughing.
"Yay, she's laughing." Ty said before waving the bartender over to us.
"Hello, how are you ladies?"
"Straight,"
"We're fine, and you?" Ty said after my reply.
"I'm doing pretty well. Thanks for asking. What would you two like for tonight?"
"Three shots of Vodka." I said.
"Girl ... " Ty said but I cut her off.
"I got this."
"Oh you do ? Okay."
"And what would you like?"
"A dry martini"
"Can I see some ID?"
We pulled out our IDs and he proceeded to get our drinks.
"Okay, tell me wassup?"
"I don't know, Ty"
"You don't know what ?"
"How to feel."
"How to feel about what."
"Dre. It's obvious that something is bothering him...." I paused for a second as I thought about earlier that day when he just walked out on me.
"Keep going..."
"I'm just a little hurt that he won't talk to me. Hell, he wouldn't even look at me."
"Did you do something?"
"No, it's not about me. Something is like really bothering him."
"And you haven't done anything?"
"Nope, I shouldn't even be stressing. I haven't done sh*t."
"I feel you, but maybe he needs time."
The bartender came back with our drinks and as soon as I got my shots of vodka I took all three back to back. I feel better already !!
"Three more please!!" I damn near yelled at him.
"Now what you say Ty?"
I looked over at Ty and she was looking at me crazy.
"What b*tch ?"
"You killed those shots b*tch."
"Yea, I need this sh*t."
"Why so much ?"
"Enough to give me a break from reality."
"Is it something else bothering you?"
"No, it's just I keep thinking of the worst with this Dre situation."
"The worst being what ?"
"I don't know and that makes it worse and harder to tell. Which is why I am stressing."
"I understand what you saying but is drinking the solution?"
"For now." That was all I said because I didn't know what else to say. I knew this drinking would only make me feel better for a moment, but in all honesty I would like to enjoy this moment.
"Like what is he hiding from me! We JUST made it official... Now this."
"Maybe you're overreacting"
"No!" I shook my head. "You should've been there to see his face... and how he walked out. I'm just worried. You feel me ? Well of course you don't, but still"
"No, I do feel where you're coming from."
"Oh you do ?"
"Yes, Chris and I aren't perfect." The waiter came back with my three new shots.
