My first winter in Canada :
We couldn’t believe what we saw when we stepped out of the airport. We stepped out into a winter wonderland. Toronto looked as if it was covered with white carpet. It snowed non-stop, looked like white sugar falling from the sky, and was as soft as a cotton ball. My brother and I were feeling despondent, and we were whining. Dad bought hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies to cheer his kid son. But that did not lift our spirits. It was so cold that I thought even polar bears would wear jackets and mittens. The ice was crunching under our feet when we tried playing in the snow, and the ice was crunching under our feet. It was so silent that the only sounds we could hear were the Crunch! Crunch! Sounds made by our boots while we were walking.
