She cuts out his form where the blood is and begins to feel the wound with her hands. There is no wound. She understands that they are pretending. Lola and Madina look at her actions and they are scared. They were caught. Bunyod holds a gun in his hands. His jaw is tense. He looks at her. Jacqueline opens her mouth. First she wants to call for help. Looks around and changes her mind, runs up close to him.
JACQUELINE (SOFTLY) Who are you? Why are you pretending?
She points her head at the wound in Bunyod's chest. Bunyod relaxes the hand where he held the gun before. He understands that she won't call anyone.
BUNYOD:
I served here until I found out the truth.
Madina is nervous.
BUNYOD:
That there is no virus.
Jacqueline nods her head. Sighs. She guessed.
JACQUELINE:
But you've already screwed me up. How are you going to get through security?
Everyone looks at each other in silence. Jacqueline goes to the side of the table, picks up a bandage and other tools, takes real blood. Opening a purse standing here, she takes a black pencil and red lipstick. Approaching draws anew the wound on the Bunyod more realistically. And she will approach Aziz. And draws a wound on his neck. It's like a shallow cut. Then she walks towards the doors. She wants to help them. Madina and Lola are standing, not knowing what to do. Jacqueline turns around.
BUNYOD:
Why are you helping us?
Jacqueline will come back.
JACQUELINE:
My father was recently transferred to a camp. I'm a medic. I know he's not sick.
BUNYOD:
Thank you.
Bunyod and Jacqueline smile at each other.
INT. CORRIDOR
She goes, others follow her. Bunyod and Aziz lie on stretchers pretending to be wounded. Lola and Madina carry them. They pass through two doors. Through security, they nod to Jacqueline and let them through without a word. She walks more briskly and goes towards the door, there is no one here.
JACQUELINE:
This last one, only two behind it.
When there are a few meters left to the door, the door opens and Crowley walks in. Madina squeezes Lola's hand. Lola turns to her and raises an eyebrow. Madina looks at her.
With just his lips, "it's him." Madina is white as chalk. Lola looks at Crowley's side. When he sees them, he smiles nastily from the corner of his lips. Jacqueline gets nervous and stops.
JACQUELINE (STUTTERING)
H-Hello commander.
Crowley looks at us, we look at Madina. Crowley is walking towards us slowly. Madina backs away a little. Crowley smiles even wider. It amuses him that she is afraid of him. He approaches her. Lola looks at him. She is afraid that he may have recognized Madina.
CROWLEY (IGNORING HER GREETING)
Where did you hide such a beauty from us?
Comes close and plays with Madina's strands. Madina pulls her head back. Lola gets angry, she shakes her hand into fists.
JACQUELINE (NERVOUSLY)
We went to work yesterday. I accompany them. Sorry, but we're in a hurry.
CROWLEY (DELIBERATELY FRIENDLY)
Yes, I understand. But let me accompany me personally-
Looks at Madina's badge.
CROWLEY (SMILES) Asal, what a sweet name, just like herself.
Madina feels terrified.
JACQUELINE (EVEN MORE NERVOUS)
But the professor wanted to have a little talk with them first-
Crowley interrupts her, he starts to get angry.
CROWLEY (TURNING TO JACQUELINE IN AN ANGRY TONE) In that case, I will personally take her there. After I show her everything here.
Jacqueline looks serious, she nods her head. She understands that arguing with him is dangerous.
Crowley smiles good-naturedly and puts his arm around Madina's shoulders. He will take her away with him by force. She tries to pull away and he tightens his arms around her shoulders. Lola looks at them, at Bunyod and Aziz. She doesn't know what to do, but she doesn't want to leave Madina with him either. She looks at the door leading into the city. Picks up a gun. If others come to shoot at the sound, then the end of the plans. She's taking a lot of risks. Bunyod and Aziz are clutching a pistol in their hands. They are tensely watching Madina and Crowley leave. Aziz squeezes the edge of the stretcher.
Crowley leans over to Madina and, smiling, whispers something in her ear. Madina takes a gun from under her robe and time slows down for a split second. Then she shoots him in the left side three times. He's falling.
Bunyod and Aziz get up and lifting the stretcher from both sides, use them as a shield and start shooting. Guards come in from both sides and shoot. The shooting will begin. Lola takes cover behind a stretcher. Sitting down, she sees Jacqueline lying in the blood a little further away with her eyes open. She was hit by a bullet. Bunyod and Aziz take turns shooting and Lola changes their cartridges. The soldiers are hiding behind the door. Bunyod shoots at two soldiers from the side of the city door. They fall dead.
The door remains ajar, and the soldiers are lying on the ground. Lola also shoots towards the other door. Madina walks backwards towards them. And shoots. Several soldiers are hit and they fall. Others come out of hiding and shoot. She gets into them too. Then she runs out of ammo. Looks around looking for shelter. There's a smooth wall everywhere and nowhere to hide.
She turns around and looks at us without hope in slow motion. Bullets hit her. She's falling. She falls on her side. The hair of the fake wig in her head is scattered on the floor. She's lying on the floor. Eyes closed. Lola looks at her with wide-open eyes. She realizes that she has lost her friend in this world forever. She remembers.
INT. MOUNTAINS – EARLY MORNING
Lola and Madina are packing up.
LOLA:
Aren't you afraid?
