Cheating?

Allow us to teach ya punks somethin'.

It's this city's absolute rule.

The people who are deceived here...

are nothing but losers.

They set us up...!

Now then, three times your

200,000 berries loan...

Won't you return it all?

We're not paying you a damn thing!

Then I'll have no choice but

to have you work it off.

Work it off?

The residents living in this city are

all slaves working to pay off their debt.

If you refuse, I'll have to

forcefully collect it from you.

Now that sounds fun!

Give it a shot if you think you can.

Ow!

My leg gave out...

Are you okay, Baccarat-chwan~?

Indeed. Touch.

Oh crap!

Banana!

Too formidable!

You're such an idiot!

Suru Illusion!

He vanished!

Again?!

Dammit, what's with this guy?!

Strong Right!

YES!

Feels good!

What a sweet punch!

More, more!

The hell's this guy's deal?

I'll take care of this.

The fastest way to win a fight

is to take down the boss.

Oh? Interesting statement there.

So you're going to beat me?

Here in this city?

Just like it sounds.

What in the...?

Zoro!

Don't move, you guys!

Good thinking.

Had they moved, they'd

all be golden statues.

What ability is it?

It's gold.

I ate the Gol Gol Fruit.

I can control any gold I've

touched once to my whim!

What did you do to Zoro?!

You were covered in gold when

you entered this city, weren't you?

Back then, your bodies were covered in

gold shavings imbued with my ability.

Once they enter this city,

people are completely under my control.

And I mean everyone!

Now then, I'll have you return

the money we loaned you.

With your 320 billion bounty, that is.

So from the beginning you...!

No one can oppose me!

Don't get cock-

Don't move.

Who are you?!

Keep your mouth shut and obey.

You...

Alright, we'll get your money!

Just give us some time!

Hey, Nami!

Very well. You have until 8:00 P.M.

tomorrow.

If you don't make it in time, this man

will be executed before a live audience!

What?!

Fine, we agree!

Hey!

Yes, of course you do.

This is the ultimate gamble, after all.

Can you earn enough money by tomorrow?

Or will you end up slaves

for the rest of your lives?

Be sure to entertain me thoroughly.

I look forward to it.

I'm starving!

Saving Zoro's more important than that!

You're damn right but let's eat first!

So why then!?

But it's important to

take care of your body.

Guess that's true.

Okay! Let's eat!

I smell meat!

Meat!

Hey, Luffy-San!

God...

Guess we gotta cool our heads down.

Oh my, pardon me.

Hold it!

What's wrong?

My, looks like you haven't

gotten rusty, Cat Burglar.

How about you? Haven't you

gotten rusty, Thief-Girl?

Gosh!

So it really is you, Carina.

Been a while, Nami!

You're with Tesoro...!

You guys know each other?

Yup, we do.

Nami's like a rotten Cat

Burglar friend to me.

Right?

No way! Back in the East Blue,

we just happened to steal

the same treasure.

Until you screwed up, you mean!

You screwed up way more than I did!

What's that, you damn Cat Burglar?!

You rotten Thief-Girl!

Hey, c'mon!

Food!

Sorry for what happened at the casino.

But I'm working undercover

as one of Tesoro's lackies.

I had no other choice.

It's fine, don't worry!

Don't tell me you're

after the Tesoro Money?!

Tesoro Money?

It's said about 20% of the entire world's

berries are hidden here in this city.

And they call it "Tesoro Money".

Stealing that would be the

ultimate glory for a thief.

Countless thieves and

burglars have tried already.

But not a single person has

been able to steal it.

I've finally been given a

spare key after approaching Tesoro.

A key?

It's a key to the giant

safe atop the golden tower.

Then it really...?

Yes, I'm after 500 billion

berries inside the safe!

500 billion!?

Is it really that awesome?

That's enough wealth to

buy a small country.

A country?!

Tesoro plans to offer a chunk

of it to the Celestial Dragons.

You mean the Heavenly Tributes?

With the power of money, the Celestial

Dragons allow him to do as he pleases.

So that's why the World Government and the

Navy are turning a blind eye to Tesoro.

I see.

And pirates after the Tesoro Money pour in.

He uses his gold to completely

control the underground world.

That's his true nature.

Say, wanna team up with me?

If we can steal the money,

we can save your friend's life.

Forget all that trouble!

Let's just rampage and take him back!

Didn't you see? Our bodies are covered with

the gold dust created by Tesoro's powers.

Because of that, he feels

no one can ever beat him.

So we fool him and steal his money.

We'll win using this city's very rules.

Guess it can't be helped.

Hey, Nami, you sure we can trust her?!

We don't have any better

options right now, right?

So we can save Zoro?

If we succeed, yes.

Okay, I'm in!

Now we're talking!

Man, oh well.

Our aim is 500 billion berries!

We're stealing the Tesoro Money

no one's ever been able to steal!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime gamble!

However, we're splitting it so

we get 70% and you get 30%.

Huh?!

Stop joking!

I'm the one who has the key!

But we've got more of us!

But you couldn't do a

damn thing without me!

Say what?!

What?!

You okay, Tempo?

Whoa there.

Don't ya know that we're

Master Tesoro's subordinates?

I'm really sorry!

Please forgive her!

Forget it!

Consider that 20,000 berries

added to your debt!

You can't...!

It's those kids from before...

They're working to pay

off their family's debt.

They're Tesoro's slaves for

the rest of their lives.

Got somethin' to say? Got

a complaint or two?!

Please wait.

Did these kids do something?

Hey!

Ya think you can make me overlook

this just 'coz you're a former soldier?

Please forgive them.

Did ya forget what it means

to oppose Master Tesoro?

Our customers gotta keep smilin'!

So c'mon, smile!

If ya don't, your whole

family's gonna be killed!

Keep on laughin'!

I'm sorry.

Please forgive them.

Not good enough!

Those jerks.

Ya gotta learn what

happens when you defy us!

Sorry.

Where's that smile?!

If ya hate us, blame it all on your

stupid ass for getting deceived!

Old man!

Commander!

I'm fine, Rikka.

So let's get back to work.

Hey! Why didn't you guys fight back?!

There's no point in fighting back.

Why?!

'Coz we can't be free

if we don't got money!

Big Brother!

Good of you to come.

Cipher Pol... what number was it again?

Huh!?

Leave the collection of the Celestial Dragon's

Heavenly Tribute to me, Spandam of CP0!

Sure. Do your thing.

I already feel better.

The hell are you?!

Here. Take it.

This bastard...

What's wrong? Don't want it?

W-Well, I guess I'll have to take it.

By the way, the Straw Hat crew

are here on this ship right now.

What!?

I've heard they gave you

a really hard time.

Hmph!

They better wait!

You sure it's okay to leave

that matter to that man?

Tell Cipher Pol to bring

more useful people next time.

Also order ten navy fleets

to be sent our way.

Very well.

Figures.

And? What about Max?
