10:00:00 INT. GEORGIE'S BEDROOM. LANE'S HOUSE. NIGHTGeorgie in bed with Elvis.
ELVIS:
We're getting married tomorrow!
IN:
10:00:02 INT. MANCHESTER REGISTRY OFFICE. DAYFriends and family have gathered. Clearly lots of army personnel. They all cheer and clap as
Georgie walks in on her father's arm, followed by her mum and sisters.
They all greet each other with hugs and kisses.
IN:
10:00:04 INT. MANCHESTER REGISTRY OFFICE. CORRIDOR. DAYGeorgie, tears in her eyes.
GEORGIE:
Tell me again.
JAMES:
He said that he can't go through with it.
IN:
10:00:07 INT. COOK HOUSE. PRESTON BARRACKS. DAYGeorgie is at a table, eating Captain James.
GEORGIE:
Why you going Kenya?
JAMES:
Outreach project in the refugee camps on the Somali
border.
IN:
10:00:12 EXT. MANCHESTER CANAL. DAYGeorgie and Cole walk along the riverside. They stop on the bridge.
COLE:
Well I hope you told 'em where to stick it.
GEORGIE:
Once we're married I won't be doing any more tours
away.
IN:
10:00:16 INT. ARMY BARRACKS. COMMS ROOM. DAYThe platoon have gathered for a briefing. Captain James stands up top with Kenyan Army officer,
Captain Osman.
JAMES:
We're going to be working closely with the Kenyan
N.G.O. Kenya Crisis Care.
IN:
10:00:20 EXT/INT. KENYA / ARMY TRUCKS. DAYThe large convoy of army trucks ride towards the camp. As they almost bounce down the
unmade road, she sees collections of huts, scores of people milling around, some throwing
glances at the army vehicle, others carrying on with their business.
OSMAN:
Generally inside the camps here they are hostile to the
military.
IN:
10:00:22 EXT. REFUGEE CAMP. DAYA massive, sprawling vision of hell. The camp is home to thousands of people, and has it's own
infrastructure within the chaos.
We see the army trucks pulling into the camp.
IN:
10:00:24 EXT. REFUGEE CAMP. DAYAn explosion rocks the camp.
Kicki immediately assumes control.
KICKI:
(screams)
Come on move. We become a target here!
Georgie looks up at her, somewhat puzzled, before the sound of bullets flying through the air
towards them.
IN:
10:00:32 INT. KENYA CRISIS CARE/TRIAGE CENTRE. DAYGeorgie and Kicki are looking after the injured.
GEORGIE:
Where are the doctors?
KICKI:
Gone.
GEORGIE:
Gone?
Georgie clearly looks shocked.
KICKI (CONT'D)
That's the reality...
IN:
10:00:35 INT. MED-TENT. TEMPORARY BRITISH ARMY BASE. DAWN / DAYJames has called to see Georgie who has just woken up.
OSMAN:
They've taken Kicki.
IN:
10:00:37 EXT. KENYA CRISIS CARE TRIAGE CENTRE. DAYGeorgie attends to the sick people.
OSMAN:
They smashed their way into the Kenya Crisis Care
base...
IN:
10:00:39 INT. SIDIQ'S DWELLING. DAYThe guys enter the building. They blast the padlock open and head further
into the house.
IN:
10:00:41 INT. SIDIQ'S DWELLING. DAYGeorgie is with Jomo who is sitting in the bath, shaking and weeping inconsolably.
GEORGIE (CONT'D)
Was Kicki here?
Jomo nods. He points down towards the floor.
IN:
10:00:43 EXT/INT. KENYA CRISIS CARE AMBULANCE. DAYGeorgie is dealing with the Al Shabaab patient, continually checking all his signs are good.
GEORGIE:
He's crashed on me.
IN:
10:00:47 EXT. KENYA CRISIS CARE AMBULANCE/EXT. TOWN. DAYA 4x4 pick up truck vehicle suddenly swings in front of the ambulance. The ambulance is forced
to stop. Georgie turns and sees Al Shabaab men including a masked Abu and Zeki open fire on
the ambulance. Mansfield pulls his weapon but before he can fire he is shot in the side.
Georgie is dragged out of the ambulance and thrown into the back of the 4x4. The Al Shabaab
get into their vehicle and speed off before the army truck arrives
We see Georgie surreptitiously feeling for her dog tags and tugging them off so they slip inside
her clothing.
Abu and Zeki are sitting in the open back of the 4x4 with Georgie as they disappear into the
countryside.

IN:
10:01:01 EXT. TOWN. DAYThe aftermath of the attack and hostage taking. The dead Al Shabaab man in the back of the
ambulance.
Music ‘2OG1’ out: 10:01:09
JAMES:
Debus. Debus. Kingy secure the area, clear inside the
vehicle. Delta fire team. MOVE!
JAMES:
Anyone got eyes on Lane? Anyone got eyes on Lane?
Has anyone got eyes on Lane?
IN:
10:01:27 EXT/INT. AL SHABAAB 4X4/KENYA. DAYA truck drives at high speed down a dusty track. We see two Al Shabaab gunmen along with Abu
and Zeki, masked with black snoods, sitting in the open back of the truck, their weapons in their
hands.
IN:
10:01:37 EXT. AL SHABAAB SAFEHOUSE. INTERIOR YARD. DAYThe open backed truck swings into a compound of a safe house where other armed Al Shabaab
are waiting. Amidst much frightening shouting in Somali, the hooded Georgie is dragged out of
the truck. Georgie is thrown to the floor.
Two men grab her and drag her with her legs dangling on the floor.
Abu, AK47 in his hand, staring at Georgie. Abu is masked but we can still see he is a white man
with a beard, wearing traditional Somali garb - a convert.
Standing next to him is masked Zeki, 16, an ethnic Somalian and Abu's right hand man. Around
them are bearded and masked Al Shabaab gun men, dressed in black and looking terrifying.
ZEKI (CONT'D)
(In Somali)
Kasiib marada.
Translation:
Take off her hoodAs the hood is removed the Somali man pulls back the trigger and aims at Georgie..
GEORGIE:
(confused and disorientated, begs)
Please I'm a medical person I can help you... please...
Please... No Please... Please! Please! No! Please..
Abu nods for the man to put the hood back on. As he does, blackout. Abu shoots into the air...
Then the sound of an AK47 firing and Georgie's frightening screams, then the laughs of the
gunmen.
Georgie is hooded, shaking with panic..

10:02:57 EXT. TOWN. DAYJames see's Mansfield through the open front passenger door of the ambulance. Mansfield has
gun shot wounds to his upper chest and shoulder. They move him out of the Ambulance.
JAMES:
One casualty, Mansfield has been shot. Get him out. Get
him out. You’re going to be alright mate. Your going to
be alright. You got it. Fingers!
Fingers hurries over with his medical kit and takes over. James hurries to the other vehicle.
FINGERS:
You alright there mate. What have you done?
JAMES (CONT'D)
(into radio)
Cat A casualty, one individual unaccounted for. Hot
location. Insecure. Stabalising casualty returning to zero.
Fingers nine niner now.
