119 EXT – BERNARD COMPOUND – EVENING

Camera shows Carl, Bernard and Francis discussing while coming... as they gets close to gate, to open it, two men on suit walks out... Carl stares at them vehemently as well as Francis... Bernard talks to little kid

Carl, Francis and Bernard rushes in and Carl comes out closing his eyes... he rushes to the gate, open it and see those boys drive pass him, he brings out his phone to snap but gets nothing... as he is coming back, he hears the crowd crying...

Carl makes call

CARL:

They have killed Bernard mum and his friend Benjamin

GIBSON:

Where is Bernard?

CARL:

He is crying inside

GIBSON:

Bring him to me... let Francis take care of the corpses

Carl goes inside, takes Bernard by his hand, stares at Francis and he goes out with Bernard

The camera focuses on the students searching for Mimi, Bosa, Eric and another two students. They are busy discussing and calling their names. After the search and did not find, they all return back.

The soldier and 3 students decide to visit the scout camp in search for the missing 5 students.

The soldier and some students come in with their touch light.

After the discussion with obuzu, they depart

Obuzu and flint having a walk out while discussing. The two are going as if they are following the commandant and the students.

127EXT - RESERVE CENTER - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS

The camera follows the soldier and the few students. As they were going down, they heard the sound of gun shots, so they start running towards the reserve center hall while the students were running out.

128EXT - RESERVE CENTER - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS

Some people are shooting, sporadically and killing. They turn to run back but there is no way. Bullet flies in every direction. They kill the commandant and the student while some are still crying and yearning to die. The killers kill the rest and take only 8 that they captured alive.

129EXT - ABUBA FOREST - NIGHT

The rovers gather the younger ones together. Dentu on seeing a light, starts going closer with his iron rod. They shot him and other rovers tries to move they open fire.

130EXT - ABUBA FOREST - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS

obuzu and flint, coming closer at a far sees the killers and hides.

131EXT - ABUBA FOREST - NIGHT - CONTINUOUS

Flint and obuzu looking at the killers as they kill two rovers with a matchet. They also kill one of the scouts who are severely injured.

132EXT - ABUBA FOREST - NIGHT - CONTINUOS

Flint trying to scream out of fear, obuzu holds his mouth and draws him back.

The killers now take the remaining ones to their base.

134EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY

In the morning obuzu and flint, visits their ruined tent, they shed tears. flint holds on to Dentu while obuzu holding on the young scout that they kill.

135EXT - CHURCH PREMISES - DAY

(Flash back )

He remembers what the boy’s father told him.

136EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY

He screams and flint holds him. They pick some things from their bags and decide to run away.

137EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY - CONTINUOS they come closer to the reserve centre.

138EXT - RESERVE CENTRE - DAY

They see the police carrying dead bodies and very armed. One of the police points at their direction.

139EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY

They decide to go back inside the abuba forest to create a new path to glory.

140EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY

Police comes inside the abuba forest. On seen the dead bodies, the police made a call - as others starts coming in

141EXT - ABUBA FOREST - DAY

Flint and obuzu stayed quiet for some hours

FLINT:

Dentu told me about them, i wanted to tell you this yesterday but things change

OBUZU:

What?

FLINT:

The killers’ mansion is at the back of your camp. The forest covers the house as he said. He said, he watched them butchered someone, very happy. They shattered the body into pieces

OBUZU:

The young cub. The father warned me, to bring his son back safely. They all died in my care

FLINT:

What are we going to do? They may still come for us

OBUZU:

Where? The place is secured by the military and may not understand or believe our story

OBUZU:

The only way out is ... to prove our innocence

Flint... i appreciate your sentiment... death is the only way out, for the atonement of their sin. they died for me to live. i wonder why am still alive. Where am i when they all get killed? i deserve death. Am sorry flint. something must be done. Dentu, chris, marcelus, fabian the young cub whom i watched killed, all died to embrace the eternal place or maybe the thugs mansion... why should i be afraid? am a coward to have watched them die... why did i bring them here... what will be my report flint... you never understand... what you think they will ask me. of all the forests, game reserves, i choose abuba forest... it’s obvious i killed them for one thing or the other... so tell me if there is a life for me to live after?

FLINT:

OBUZU:

fools say to themselves, there is no God... flint... a scout is meant to fight against the enemy of the nation... a scout stands even on his dying breathe.. a scout is a one man mercenary... a hero always... flint, in this life... its either you go up or you go down... there is forward and there is backward. The choice is yours and you have the whole of the time now to decide. i can hardly see now. Blood in my eyes... once am out of this place, i kill anything that has life... death will be their rewards... go and tell the world my story.
