I can't make everybody happy,

My God, she was amazing.

You know, she sounded

so on fire... amazing.

She's just naturally very sexy, talented,

and then the other side of her is,

she seems like a very

down-to-earth, gracious person.

I think that's a very

potent cocktail to have,

and I think you need to achieve goals,

be passionate, take risks, be smart,

be not afraid to fail, occasionally,

because that happens.

I just know, as a performer,

there's nothing else, nothing else is like

what she would have felt on stage tonight,

and every night she performs.

I didn't want people to start takin' me

as a gimmick or a joke,

or feel like I'm just puttin' out music

so I could, you know, eat.

You know, I really love

makin' music, I enjoy it.

favorite songs I've ever heard.

if it wasn't mine, 'cause

I felt that way from the demo.
