CASSIAN ANDOR:
Jyn. Come on.

The AT-ACT is preparing to fire at the remaining few rebels.

AT-AT PILOT:
Fire on my command.

Baze loads a rocket launcher and fires at the neck of the AT-ACT, but the walker only flinches and lifts its head back up. However, it's instantly shot by an X-Wing coming out of nowhere with a few more following it. The rebels erupt in cheers.

BAZE MALBUS:
Look!

Inside the shuttle, Bodhi prepares to make a run for it. Another rebel stops him.

BODHI ROOK:
Get ready. We’re going to have to go out there.

REBEL:
What’re you doing?

BODHI ROOK:
They closed the shield gate, we’re stuck here. But, the rebel fleet is pulling in.We just have to get a signal strong enough to get through to them and let them know we’re trapped down here. For that, we have to connect to the communications tower. Now, I can patch us in over here, the landing pad but you have to get on the radio, get one of the guys out there to find a master switch. Get them to activate the connection between us and that comm tower.

REBEL:
Okay.

BODHI ROOK:
Then go!

Raddus and his crew sit aboard the Mon Calamari cruiser bridge.

ADMIRAL RADDUS:
What’s going on down there, Lieutenant?

LIEUTENANT:
Unknown, sir. We can’t raise them. All rebel frequencies are blocked.

ADMIRAL RADDUS:
Keep trying. Engage those Star Destroyers and let’s start probing that shield.

LIEUTENANT:
Yes, sir.

The Red squadron pilots are busy shooting at the shield gate and dodging shots from cannons built on top of it. An X-Wing is hit and goes down in flames.

GARVEN DREIS (RED LEADER): We’re going in! Stay with me.

Jyn and Cassian are in a small control room in the archive tower, searching for the location of the plans. K-2SO is outside by the control panel.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Schematics bank, Data tower two.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
How do I find that?

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Searching. I can locate the tape, but you’ll need the handles for extraction.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
What are we supposed to do with these? Whoa.

They turn around to see the vault door closing. K-2SO is surrounded by stormtroopers and tries to point them away.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Well, finally.

STORMTROOPER:
Wait, stop!

The trooper notices the officer on the floor.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: The rebels! They went over there.

Cassian speaks into the comlink, revealing himself.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Kay. What’s going on out there?

Before the stormtroopers can shoot, K-2 reacts.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: There’s one. Oh well.

He beats up the troopers easily. Up in the sky, the bombers are preparing to attack. Just as they start the attack run, TIE fighters come in from the shield and swarm the rebel fleet.

JON VANDER (GOLD LEADER): Red Leader, this is Gold Leader, we’re starting our attack run on the shield gate. Keep it tight and watch out for those towers.

GOLD PILOT:
More fighters. Form up, at 65.

REBEL LIEUTENANT: Sir, enemy fighters coming in.

The TIEs zoom past the Mon Cala cruiser bridge.

CORPORAL STORDAN TONC: Melshi. Melshi, come in, are you there? Bodhi will send a signal from here. He’s patching us in. But you guys have to open up a line for the tower.

SERGEANT RUESCOTT MELSHI: How? Please advise.

CORPORAL STORDAN TONC: There’s a master switch to the base of the Comm tower.

SERGEANT RUESCOTT MELSHI: Master switch, describe, what are we looking for?

CORPORAL STORDAN TONC: What does it look like? The master switch? Where is it?

Merrick leads his Blue Squadron into attack, covering the rebels on the beach.

GENERAL ANTOC MERRICK: Two wings, reinforce those troops on the beach. All fighters, on me. We have to shield them from air attack.

LAREN JOMA (BLUE ELEVEN): Troop reinforcements. Here we go!

A craft full of reinforcements lands and disembarks on the beach with a war cry, attacking the stormtroopers.

REBEL MARINE:
For Jedha!

MARINE:
Jedha!

The rebels attempting to take down the shield are having no effect on it and are still pressed by TIE fighters.

RED PILOT:
We're having no effect on that shield.

BLUE PILOT:
How much more can that thing take?

GARVEN DREIS (RED LEADER): Stick close, Red 5, where are you going?

PEDRIN GUAL (RED FIVE): I’m trying to lose them. This is Red 5, I need help!

Red Five is caught in the scopes of a TIE pilot and goes down in flames. Up in the tower, Jyn and Cassian are going through archive after archive.

JYN ERSO:
Hyperspace Tracking, Navigational Systems.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Two screens down. Structural engineering, open that one!

A stormtrooper walks in and K-2 shoots him without even looking his way. Up in the air, the battle rages on. The more advanced TIE Strikers are now chasing down the rebels.

BLUE PILOT:
I got one on my tail!

BLUE TWO:
I’m on it.

Bodhi connects the cable to the radio while Jyn keeps rummaging through Engineering files.

JYN ERSO:
Project code names: Stellarsphere. Mark Omega. Pax Aurora. War-Mantle. Cluster-Prism. Black-Saber.

She stops dead in her tracks.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
What?

JYN ERSO:
Stardust. That’s it.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
How do you know that?

JYN ERSO:
I know because it’s me.

Bodhi is fiddling with wires when he is surprised by a stormtrooper aiming at him.

STORMTROOPER:
Hey, you. Identify yourself.

BODHI ROOK:
I can explain.

STORMTROOPER:
Incoming fire, take cover!

The trooper yells at his colleague but is shot down instantly by the rebels.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Kay, we need the file for Stardust!

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Stardust.

JYN ERSO:
That’s it.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Kay.

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Climb. Climb. You can still send the plans to the fleet. If they open the shield gate, you can broadcast from the tower! Locking the vault door now.

His voice gets high-pitched and he starts closing the door hurriedly as a squad of stormtroopers bursts into the room shooting at him. With his last effort he punches the vault door shut.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Kay. Kay!

K-2SO [KAY-TUESSO]: Good bye.

K-2SO's eyes go dark.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Kay!

Krennic is standing at the window nervously when news arrives.

LIEUTENANT MYTUS ADEMA: Sir, unauthorized access at the data vault.

DIRECTOR ORSON KRENNIC: What?

LIEUTENANT MYTUS ADEMA: It’s just come in, sir.

DIRECTOR ORSON KRENNIC: Send my guard squadron into battle! Two men with me now! Get that beach under control!

Cassian calls out to Bodhi via comlink.

CASSIAN ANDOR:
Bodhi? Are you there? Have you got the switch?

BODHI ROOK:
I can’t get to the shuttle, I can’t plug in!

CASSIAN ANDOR:
You have to! They have to hit that gate. If the shield’s open, we can send the plans!

Merrick is hit by a TIE Striker shot and goes down just as a Blue pilot warns him.

BLUE:
General, behind you!

JYN ERSO:
Step back.

Jyn shoots a hole through the glass in the control room, opening up an alternative exit. A TIE fighter hits the wing of Blue Eleven and the pilot screams.

BLUE ELEVEN:
We’re going down!

The beach battle rages on. No side seems to be winning so far, but a squad of death troopers arrives. Inside the tower, Jyn takes off her uniform jacket and climbs out the window. They jump over from the wall to the archives at a dazzling height.
