CAPTAIN SHAEF CORSSIN: The rebel flag ship is disabled, my lord, but has received transmission from the surface.

DARTH VADER:
Prepare a boarding party.

CAPTAIN SHAEF CORSSIN: Yes, my lord.

On the cruiser, the rebels barely get the plans onto a hard drive and race to the escape pods, but some of them are cut off by a locked door.

REBEL:
Hurry!

REBEL 2:
Let’s go!

REBEL 1:
We got to go now!

REBEL:
Hurry, let’s go!

REBEL:
It’s stuck.

REBEL:
Hey, help!

The music stops, and only the sirens blare in the darkness. Then someone starts breathing, and a crimson lightsaber ignites, revealing Darth Vader himself.

REBEL:
Open fire!

REBEL:
Help us!

REBEL:
It’s jammed!

Vader slaughters the rebels easily and cold bloodedly, despite all their efforts. Someone manages to pass on the plans to the outside before being impaled by his saber. The survivors run to the Tantive IV that's docked to the cruiser.

REBEL:
Pull it!

REBEL:
Here. Here. Take it! Take it.

REBEL:
LAUNCH!

The smaller ship launches the second Vader makes his way to it. He stands on the side of the cruiser, watching the Tantive leave. On board the smaller ship, captain Antilles finds Princess Leia of Alderaan.

CAPTAIN RAYMUS ANTILLES: Make sure you secure the airlock. And prepare the escape pods.

CAPTAIN RAYMUS ANTILLES: Your Highness. The transmission we received. What is it they’ve sent us?

Leia smiles.

PRINCESS LEIA ORGANA: Hope.
