REY:
I will earn your brother’s saber.... one day.

[BB-8 chirping]

REY:
No, you can’t do it for me.

LEIA:
Never underestimate a droid.

[Leia walks off]

REY:
Yes, Master.

[Man giving instructions]

NIMI CHIREEN:
Rey! Falcon's back!

[All clamoring]

MAN:
Come on, get over here!

MAN 2:
I need a fire crew here! And another one in the back! Go, go!!!

WOMAN:
Coming!

POE:
It's on fire!

[BB-8 whines]

POE:
Whole thing's on fire. All of it. It's on fire.

REY:
Hey.

POE:
Hey!

REY:
There's a spy?

POE:
Really could have used your help out there.

REY:
How did it go?

POE:
Really bad, actually. Really bad.

REY:
Han’s ship....

[referring to BB-8]

POE:
What'd you do to the droid?

REY:
What'd you do the Falcon?

POE:
The Falcon’s in a lot better shape than he is.

REY:
BB-8's not on fire.

POE:
What’s left of him isn’t on fire.

REY:
Tell me what happened.

POE:
You tell me first.

REY:
You know what you are?

Poe Dameron:
What?

Rey:
You’re difficult. Really difficult. You’re a difficult man.

Poe Dameron:
You, you are....

Finn:
Rey.

Rey:
Finn. Oh.

[BB-8 chirps]

REY:
You made it back.

FINN:
Yeah. Barely.

REY:
So, bad mood?

FINN:

[points to Poe]

REY:
Him.

FINN:
Always.

REY:
Do we have a spy?

FINN:
Well....

[Chewie grunts]

REY:
You lightspeed skipped??

POE:
Yeah, well, it got us back here, didn't it?

REY:
Poe, the compressor's down.

POE:
Oh, I know, I was there.

FINN:
Every time.

REY:
You can't lightspeed skip the Falcon!

POE:
Actually, it turns out you can.

FINN:
All right, guys, we just landed, okay?

REY:
What happened?

POE:
Bad news, that's what happened.

REY:
No spy?

POE:
No. Spy.

REY:
Did we make contact with a spy or not?

FINN:
There's a mole in the First Order, and they sent us a message.

POE:
You dropped a tree on him?

REY:
You blew both sub-alternators?

POE:
Well, you know what.... maybe you should've been out there with us!

REY:
You know I want to be out there with you.

POE:
Yeah, but you're not. You're here training. For what? You're the best fighter we have. We need you. Out there, not here. Junior.... get R2 into reconditioning.

FINN:
It's true.

REY:
What's the message?

POE:
We’ve decoded the intel from the First Order spy.... and it confirms the worst. (sighs) Somehow, Palpatine returned.

[All gasp, murmuring]

ROSE:
Wait. Do we believe this?

AFTAB:
It cannot be. The Emperor's dead.

BEAUMONT:
Dark silence. Cloning. Secrets only the Sith knew.

[referring to Palpatine]

POE:
He’s been planning his revenge. His followers have been building something for years. The largest fleet the galaxy has ever known. He calls it the Final Order. In 16 hours, attacks on all free worlds begin.

[Chewie groans]

POE:
The Emperor and his fleet have been hiding in the Unknown Regions. On a world called Exegol.

[R2-D2 chirps frantically]

C-3PO:
Exegol does not appear on any star chart. But legend describes it as a hidden world of the Sith.

BEAUMONT:
There were always whispers of his hunger to cheat death.

POE:
So, Palpatine’s been out there all the time. Pulling the strings.

LEIA:
Always. In the shadows. From the very beginning.

MAZ:
If we want to stop him, we must find him. Must find Exegol.

REY:
General? Can I speak with you? I know how to get to Exegol.

LEIA:
Tell me.

REY:
Luke searched for it. For a long time. He nearly found it.

[referring to Luke’s notes]

REY:
There are ciphers here I can’t read. But he said to get there, you need one of these. A Sith wayfinder. They’re compasses that lead the way to Exegol. To stop what we both know is coming.... I need to finish what Luke started. Find Exegol. Find the Emperor.

LEIA:
No.

REY:
I don’t want to go without your blessing, but I will.

[Leia just looks at her]

REY:
I will. It’s what you would do.

POE:
So, you got her up and running?

REY:
You were right before. I'm going to pick up Luke's search for Exegol. I'm going to start where his trail went cold. The Forbidden Desert of Pasaana.

[after Rey’s told them she’s going to look for Exegol]

POE:
Yeah, I know. We’re going with you.

[he walks towards the Falcon]

POE:
Chewie, you get that compressor fixed?

[Chewie grunts]

REY:
I need to go alone.

FINN:
Yeah. Alone with friends.

REY:
It’s too dangerous, Finn.

FINN:
We go together.

[Chewie grunts]

[BB-8 chirping]

C-3PO:
I wholeheartedly agree.

[Rey smiles, chuckling softly]

FINN:
Rose, last chance.

ROSE:
The General asked me to study the specs of the old Destroyers. So we can stop the fleet if you find it.

FINN:
"If"?

ROSE:
(chuckles softly) When.

FINN:
When.

POE:
Hey, we should get going. What is it?

REY:
Nothing.

[as he’s setting off to go off with Rey, Finn and Poe]

C-3PO:
In the event that I do not return.... I want you to know that you have been a real friend R2. My best one, in fact.

[R2-D2 chirps happily]

REY:
There’s so much I want to tell you.

LEIA:
Tell me when you get back.

[she gives Rey Luke’s lightsaber and Rey embraces her affectionately]

[Rey sniffles]

LEIA:
Rey.... never be afraid of who you are.

[Grunts]

REY:
It is.

[Muttering]

[Continues muttering]

STORMTROOPER 1:
Knights of Ren.

STORMTROOPER 2:
Ghouls.

KYLO REN:
We have a spy in our ranks.... who just sent a message to the Resistance. Whoever this traitor is won't stop us. With what I've seen on Exegol.... the First Order is about to become a true Empire.

[pause]

KYLO REN:
I sense unease about my appearance, General Hux.

ARMITAGE HUX:
About the mask? No, sir. Well done.

BELLAVA PARNADEE: I like it.

DOMARIC QUINN:
Forgive me, sir, but these allies on Exegol.... they sound like a cult. Conjurers and soothsayers.

ENRIC PRYDE:
They've conjured legions of Star Destroyers. The Sith fleet will increase our resources 10-1,000fold. Such range and power will correct the error of Starkiller Base.

AMRET ENGELL:
We'll need to increase recruitments. Harvest more of the galaxy's young.

DOMARIC QUINN:
This fleet, what is it, a gift? What is he asking for in return?

[Choking]

KYLO REN:
Prepare to crush any worlds that defy us. My knights and I are going hunting for the scavenger.

POE:

FINN:

POE:
There's always random First Order patrols in crowds like these. So, keep your heads down. Chewie.

[Chewie grunting]
