(Adoption Island playing)

GRACE, FENNEC FOX AND CHICK

Adoption Island is a place we all can go whenever we choose it. Adoption Island is a feeling we all know, we never do lose it. We can find a secret place to rest and make a new start. If you don’t know where it is, look inside your heart.

(Grace and her pets enter a plane. It’s pink and has the Adopt Me! logo on 1 wing. It takes flight. Inside the plane, Grace turns on the TV. We see a group.)

FEMALE REPORTER:

We now go live with L.O.S.S. What does it stand for?

PROFESSOR SMARTBRAINS

L.O.S.S. stands for “Lab of Sinisterly Science.” I sent you a sweepstakes, then built this bogus plane, see the radar?

FEMALE REPORTER:

I see it.

PROFESSOR SMARTBRAINS

Good, making them think they’re going on vacation.

GRACE:

It was a free plane! Who doesn’t love a free plane?

(Look Out! playing)

FEMALE REPORTER:

The Freeze Machine freezes people?!

GRACE:

Look out, they’re after you!

FENNEC FOX:

You ought to take care, but take care where you go!

GRACE:

It’s a nightmare coming true!

FENNEC FOX:

The evil that’s spreading is starting to grow!

GRACE AND THE FENNEC FOX

Your friends are doing all they can do. But, what about you?

ALL TOGETHER:

How can we help this unfortunate soul? How can we stop him? He’s outta control!

(War. The battlegrounds are set. We cut to L.O.S.S. and Grace. She has boxing gloves and a shield.)

JAMES TAYLOR:

I want a good fight!

(We Will Change playing)

L.O.S.S.

Some people say that we’re bad guys, they maybe right, they maybe right! But it’s not as if we don’t try, try as we might! Try as we might! We will change! We will change! We can learn to keep our promises, we swear it! We’ll open up our heart and share at the same time! We’ll be born! Yes, we will change! We will change! We know we’ve been dirty little turds! We like to kill and do a fake mate, but we will change! It’s not our fault that we’re so evil, it society! Society! You see, our boss was sometimes abusive, and it made her prickle us! But, we will change! We will change!

GRACE:

What if you remain sandy little jerks?

L.O.S.S.

Just watch, just watch us change right now, we’re changing!

PROFESSOR SMARTBRAINS

(walks up behind L.O.S.S.) What did I just hear?! That’s it! (freezes Grace twice)

ADDY:

Grace!

(L.O.S.S. gets frozen as well)

NIXIE:

Be not afraid!

(she hides in a statue of L.O.S.S. Grace’s pets are the hands.)

BURT:

Statue! (removes some clay) Who puts eyeballs in clay? (Nixie gets out)

ADDY:

If Grace gets frozen, I’ll freeze too! (She smiles and points the Freeze Machine at herself. Grace’s pets and Nixie wave goodbye. The ice melts.)

FENNEC FOX:

Look, a gift!

(The battlegrounds, day. The dirt grows into grass and a gift arrives. Everyone opens the gift. Inside is a conductor.)

CHICK:

Woo hoo, a conductor! Now, I can be a lead in an orchestra!

EVERYONE:

That’d be awesome!

GRACE:

I’ll write the music!

FENNEC FOX:

I‘ll do all the beats!

CHICK:

Leave it to me! I’ll conduct you!

EVERYONE ELSE:

No!

(begins song)

GRACE:

I’m lucky that we saved the world, but most importantly you! We shared, we cared, we laughed, we hugged.

EVERYONE ELSE:

We talked and listened, too!

EVERYONE:

How fine to have you as a friend, cause since we got the chance, we’ll glide, we’ll slide, we’ll clap, we’ll tap...

BURT:

... and do the happy dance!

EVERYONE:

You’re my friend, I’m your friend, when things went right or wrong, you’re my friend! We shared our love and sang our friendship... (dives into the pool) song!!!!!!!!!!

(It’s revealed the gift came from Addy. She’s seen in Heaven, wearing a halo and wings. Closing credits roll and the film ends.)
