INT. FAMILY´S HOUSE - NIGHT
LUKE, 7 years old, is laying on bed and staring your closet.
CUT TO:
His father watches TV in the living room, several beer cans
are scattered on the floor and on the couch, and a half-empty
bottle of whiskey is in your hand.
LUKE (V.O)
(Screaming)
DAD ! DAD ! DAD!
The dad gets scared and almost drop the bottle.
He gets up and leaves the bottle at a corner table next to
the couch.
DAD:
What´s wrong Luke ? what uproar is
this ?
The dad rush into the room.
CUT TO:
Closet seen from the inside, the clothes seems to wobble a
little bit.
CUT TO:
DAD:
What happened boy ? what is all
this bullshit ?
Luke sits on bed and his dad comes close and slaps his face.
The dad sits next to him on bed, Luke lower his head after
the slap.
LUKE:
(Frightened)
closet, he came out and look at me.
DAD:
Clown in the closet ? What f***ing
nonsense is this Luke ?
LUKE:
Its true daddy, he came out and
look at me.
DAD:
Stop it boy, there is nothing
there, only your clothes.
He holds Luke by the shoulders.
DAD:
Hold on, calm down, i´m gonna open
the closet and you will see there
is nothing wrong, then you will
shut the f*** up and sleep,
allright ?
He release the son shoulders and gets up.
Goes staggering to the closet and opens the door.
The closet contais only clothes and hangers.
The dad turns around pointing to the closet.
DAD:
See boy, there´s nothing here. You
already have 8 years old and needs
to stop being a f***ing crybaby,
come on.
Luke stands on the bed, worried.
LUKE:
The clown was there, he left and
then came back when i started
screaming.
DAD:
Stop being a crybaby, i already
said it.
The dad close the closet door and get out of the room.
DAD (V.O)
Go to sleep, dont bother me more
for today.
CUT TO:
Closet seen from the inside, unintelligible sounds are heard
from inside out.
CUT TO :
The tv´s living room shows a pro-wrestling match.
Dad is sleeping sitout on the couch with his mouth open and
the whiskey bottle empty and lying on the floor.
LUKE (V.O)
(Screaming)
DAD ! THE CLOWN IS HERE AGAIN !
DAD!
The dad wake ups choking and coughing, he gets up.
He enters the bedroom knocking the door and making her hit
the wall hard.
Luke stops screaming and partially cover his head with the
blanket.
DAD:
(screaming)
He opens the closet door with anger, the left door breaks and
falls aside.
The dad stars pulling some clothes on the floor.
DAD:
(screaming)
THERES NOTHING HERE ! NO F***ING
CLOWN ! YOU ARE A FLOPPY SON OF A
Luke stars crying.
His dad comes close and give 2 hard slaps on is head.
Luke tries to defend himself going down the blanket.
DAD:
Stupid kid.
Luke covers completely and keeps crying.
DAD:
If I have to come in here again i
will hang you upside down and you
will get what you deserve, what
Dad leaves the bedroom, slamming the door with anger.
DAD:
Coward and dumb, Jesus Christ.
Luke get out under the covers and cleans the tears with a
expression of rage on his face, he stares the bedroom door
and looks at the direction of the broken closet.
A tremendous clown in standing in the bedroom, yellow and red
attire, white make-up with eyes, nose and mouth also red and
greenish hair.
Luke holds his breath frightened.
The clown keeps watching seriously the boy, until he gives a
slight smile.
CUT TO:
The dad is sleeping on the couch, lying on the couch under
some cans.
CUT TO:
LUKE:
You can kill my father ?
The clown keep smilling and pulls a kitchen knife from the
back of his clothes.
He holds the knife by the edge of the blade and stretches his
arm in direction of Luke, offering it.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOUSE - NIGHT
The house is seen from outside, while you hear the screams
from dad and sounds from stabs.
The dad is headless in the middle of the living room, lying
corpse down and with multiple knife wounds in his back.
Luke is standing with his father´s blood all over is body and
with the knife in hand, serious face.
The clown is next to the living room´s door, he holds the dad
´s head and keep staring at Luke.
Luke undoes the serious face an winks to the clown.
FADE OUT.
