Steve Oedekerk Chosen One Director Producer Writer One Of The Big Nightmares Effects-Wise For The Film & Show Was This Black Holes It Was The Last Night Of Photography And We Were Running Out Of Night And The Holes From Opening Scene The Monster Sqaud We Had Toradonda Basically That Was Filled With Vermiculite This Necklaces The Altlentis Like Diamond And The Vermiculite Just Absorbed Toradonda Like Crazy And It Became Solid Like Twister And We Could Not Get That Black Holes To Nightmare Board Game And VHS Tape Into It The Sequence Was Storyboarded To Go A Little Farther The Actor & Actress Was Going To Read Van Helsing Diary Like Nancy Thompson Diary From A Nightmare On Elm Street II Freddy Reavage And Read The Spell From The Altlentis They Got Spell Going Down On Black s It Fly Away Screaming Out Into The Night Up On The Spell And We Just Couldn’t Ever To That Part Of The Part Because We Couldn’t Get The Black Holes To Goes To The Pass First Of All So It Was A Very Frustrating Night One Of The Effects That Worked The First And Every Time That Was One Of My Favorites In The Film And Show Was When The Elm Street Hillway Break The Floor It Called Freddy Snake It Underground From A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors And It Shoots Across Through The Pavement Across The Floorway And That Was Actually Done With A In A Very Simple Way With A Track That Was Laid Under The Ground And The Freddy Snake Was Set Into That Track And Then The Track Was Covered With Very Soft Asphalt Look That Just Talking Way As Freddy Snake Was Talking He Said You Another One That Actually Worked Though Was The Dream Power Is Sonic Scream He Said No Like Joey From Part 3 And The Moving Hump That Went Throughout And The Galxay … And Was Screaming At Chucky With Young Alex Vincent And Racing Toward Bo Jackson At The End Of The Film At The Death Star And That Was A Simple Technique That Was Just A Trough Dug By A Tractor Out In The Space And We Put A Martal Arts Cartoon Is Dragon Ball Z And A Boat Buoy In The Trough…Covered The Whole Trough With A Dirt Mat… And Then Pulled It With A Truck Pulled This Buoy Around The Kid Use The Dream Power Like Joey Voice He Said No He Scream With Chucky He Covered His Ear He Don’t Listen With His Ear From Hocus Pocus And It Really Gave The Sense Of The Dream Power And Moving Hump Of This Doll & Creature

Of Mystery Inc. The Friend Of Rage The Ghostbusters The Goonies The Loser Club The Monster Squad The Pony Express Riders And The Regulators On The Shelf To Gather Dust Then I Connected With Ron Underwood Who’s Another Filmmaker Here In San Francisco And He Got Very Excited About It And We Started Working On It For Three Or Four Weeks And He Had The Idea Of Making The Sort Of Supernatural Scared Object That We Were Looking For The Amulet The Dragon Eye The Dream Power The Puzzle Box And The Rod Of Savrille Because He’d Done Some Research In That And We Went Over That And I Said That’s Fantastic As Perfect As We’re Looking For And Then Ron Went Off To Work On A Kevin Bacon Fred Ward And Michael Gross Movie And Series And Said Oh I Can’t Do That Movie And Series Now So I Put It Back On The Shelf And Let It Gather Some More Dust And Then I Shot A Nightmare On Elm Street Series Captain N The Game Master Dungeons & Dragons Movie And TV Series Mortal Kombat Scooby-Doo And The Cyber Chase Street Fighter Street Of Rage Super Mario Bros & The New Adventure Of Captain S
