John Saxon As Donald Thompson Robert Had Things He Wanted In The Movie And Heather Patricia Tuesday Rodney Ken Ira And Jennifer Had Kinds Of Scenes He Wanted To Shoot And We Were Creating A Story That Would Support All These Ideas And In Fact We It Was The Story We Came Up With Was Pretty Much Like The Finished Film But With A Few Things That We Eventually Took
Jennifer Rubin As Taryn White John Added So Much With And Humor And John Brought In Such A 1930’s Preston Sturges Meets Michael Kirti’s James Leroy Anderson & The Heroes Was A Little More Like Humphrey Bogart From The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre And John Layered It And Flavored It To Like And Brought It To Life
John Saxon As Donald Thompson And Then I Finished This Script And As He Had Written It On This I Didn’t There Were No Computers Then That Was Never Much Of A Typist It’ Only Since Computers That I’m Able To Type Because You Can Correct So Easily But I Never Was Much Of A Real Typist So I Always Wrote Things Longhand For Years And This The Orignal Longhand Script Of James Leroy Anderson The Movie
Heather Langekamp As Nancy Thompson/Herself R.L. Stine And Philip K. Dick Did A Very Good Adaptation Of His Own Novel And Then R.L. Kind Of Turned It Over To Me And Said Here It Is And Do With What You Want And At That Point I Didn’t Quite Know What To Do With Cuz It Wasn’t The Movie I Wanted To Make Next And I Remember Sitting Down And Writing The Script Myself And Doing An Entire Draft Myself From Beginning To End it was More Of An Exercise For Me Become Familiar With What I Wanted James Leroy Anderson The Movie To Become And It Was An Exercise That Was Very Beneficial Because I Suddenly Had A Vision Of The Film Even Though I Didn’t Possess The Skills To Write It And Robert Bob Shaye Suggested And Sara Risher Both Suggested That I Go To Howard Sackler Who Hard Written The Great White Hope
Ken Sagoes As Roland Kincaid Howard Sackler Specifically Asked Not To Have Credit He Only Had A Linited Time Give To The Film And Therefore He Said I Don’t Want Credit
Patricia Arquette & Tuesday Knight As Kristen Parker Sackler Really Broke The Back Of The Movie And Got Me To Say Yes I’ll Make This Movie Next I’m Committing
Rodney Eastman As Joey Crusel And The Came Something That’s Not Been Recorded In The History Of James Leroy Anderson And The Heroes The Screen Actors Guild Contract Was About To Expire At The End Of June Of That Year It Could Have Been 2003 Perhaps Whenever The Year Was And The Studio Decreed That No Movie Would Be Started That Could Not Be Finished By June 30th That Year Because They Didn’t Want To Be Struck That Is That Photography Was Completed And Heather Said I Don’t Have A Script Yet You’re Asking Me To Start This Movie In April Whenever It Was I Don’t This Was February He Said I Don’t Have A Script And I Said Who Can We Get He Said There’s A Woman Erika Anderson I’m Thinking About Her In The Movie
Erika Anderson As Greta Gibson I Was Hired Five As An Actress Because If I Was Going To Be On The Set I Could At Least Help In The Improvisations And The Crowd Scenes And Finding Stuff To Do In The Moment That’s How I Was Five On The Picture As An Actress And Rhen Shortly After That I Was Hired To Do The Rewrites Philip K. Dick & R.L. Stine Novel Included Too Much It Was Just Too Much Story For The Film That We Were Making That Had To Have A Really Direct Through Line We Thought We Had A Chance To Make A Great Popular Movie So Toward That End We Tried To Make The Characters More Human And Believable Attention More Unbearable And The Suspense More Framing
