In a forest where nothing is quite what it seems, adventure awaits at every twist and turn...

INT. TINY HOME - DAY
Inside a tiny, cozy home built into a tree, we meet our protagonist, MAX THE MOUSE. He is wearing a tiny backpack and looking at a MAP.
MAX:
(to himself)
Today’s the day, Max! Today you explore the Strange Forest!
He puts the map in his backpack and scurries out the door, determined.

EXT. STRANGE FOREST PATH - DAY
Max bounces along a vibrantly colored path, humming cheerfully. Suddenly, he hears a strange sound.
RUMBLE:
MAX:
What was that?
He looks around nervously, but curiosity gets the better of him and he continues forward, despite his doubts.

Max ventures into a bright, glowing glen. The colors shift with every breeze, and the flowers gently sway, releasing tiny sparkles. Here, we meet FLORA, a cheerful flower sprite.
FLORA:
(gleefully)
Hi there! I’m Flora! Welcome to the Glowing Glen!
MAX:
Wow! Hi, Flora! I’m Max! This place is amazing!

FLORA:
Why, thank you! You’re just in time for the Blooming Festival!
MAX:
Festival? Tell me everything!
Flora twirls in delight as the camera zooms out to reveal the entire glen, filled with magical flowers and sparkling lights.

EXT. STRANGE FOREST - CONTINUOUS
They walk together, filled with excitement.
FLORA:
We celebrate every time the flowers bloom! But beware of the Grumpy Gnome! He’s trouble.
She points toward a distant hill, where a silhouette of a figure is seen, looking oddly menacing despite the festival's cheerful tone.
MAX:
A gnome? What’s so scary about him?
FLORA:
(whispering)
He steals the light from the flowers! Without it, the festival can’t happen. He’s a real pest!

MAX:
Then we have to stop him!
FLORA:
(sighs)
It’s not that simple. He’s clever. But I have an idea. You’re quick on your feet, right?
MAX:
(enthusiastically)
You bet I am!
Narrator as they set the journey to find the glowing light of the forest, they came a close strange animal who keep telling them about the secret of the forest and songs that awake the forest

EXT. GNOMES’ HILL - DAY
Max and Flora reach the base of a hill. They see the GRUMPY GNOME, sulking, surrounded by glowing LIGHT orbs that float above the ground. He’s muttering to himself, unaware of their approach.
GRUMPY GNOME:
(huffing)
Go away! I don’t want visitors!
Max and Flora exchange a glance. Max steps forward bravely.

MAX:
(excitedly)
We need those lights for the festival! Let them go!
GRUMPY GNOME:
(smirking)
Why should I? They’re mine! I need them for my personal collection!

Max devises a plan, scratching his chin.
MAX:
What if... we trade you something?
The Grumpy Gnome raises an eyebrow, intrigued but skeptical.

GRUMPY GNOME:
And what do you have to offer, little mouse?
FLORA:
How about a dance contest? If you win, you keep the lights!
GRUMPY GNOME:
(with a chuckle)
A dance contest? You’re on!

The Grumpy Gnome immediately begins to dance, but it’s clear he has zero rhythm—he’s hopping, twirling awkwardly, and bumping into things.
Max and Flora exchange worried glances, unsure if they can win.

EXT. GNOMES’ HILL - MOMENTS LATER
Max hesitates before joining in. He starts dancing but ends up stumbling. His moves are shaky, unsure, and completely uncoordinated.
MAX:
(whispering to Flora)
I’ve never danced like this before!
FLORA:
(cheering him on)
Just feel the rhythm! You’ve got this, Max!
Max nods and tries again, though his confidence is still wobbly.

As Max continues to dance, something unexpected happens. His movements cause a chain reaction of flowers around him to bloom in quick succession, releasing glowing petals that swirl around him like a tornado of light.
The Gnome watches in awe, momentarily distracted from his own clumsy dancing.

GRUMPY GNOME:
Hey! That’s cheating!
MAX:
(laughing)
No way! That’s flower power!

Their dancing creates a magical melody that reverberates throughout the forest, drawing all kinds of creatures from every corner.
GRUMPY GNOME:
(irritated)
This isn’t fair!
But Max is too caught up in the fun to care.

FLORA:
(cheering)
You’re a natural! Keep going!
Max twirls and leaps, gaining more confidence while the Grumpy Gnome starts smiling, his frustration fading.
GRUMPY GNOME:
(smirking)
Alright, alright. You win. Take your lights.
He hands them over with a chuckle, and the crowd CHEERS.

Max and Flora thank the Gnome, who laughs heartily, shrugging off his previous grumpiness.
MAX:
Maybe one day, we can all dance together!
GRUMPY GNOME:
(smiling)
I’d like that, little mouse. You know, you’re not so bad.

Max and Flora return to the glen, holding the lights high. The forest creatures cheer, and colorful fireworks light up the sky.
FLORA:

MAX:
We did it together, Flora!

WILLOW:
(softly)
Ah, young Max. I’ve been expecting you. The forest is in danger.

Max and Flora sit by Willow, listening intently.
WILLOW:
The Grumpy Gnome is but a small part of a much larger threat. The Shadow King is awakening.
MAX:
Who’s the Shadow King?

They find the Crystal of Light, but just as they do, the Shadow King emerges from the shadows. His form is dark and smoky, his eyes glowing red.
