Synopsis: The Wolf of Wall Street is a 2013 American biographical black comedy film directed by Martin Scorsese. The screenplay by Terence Winter is adapted from the memoir of the same name by Jordan Belfort and recounts from Belfort's perspective his career as a stockbroker in New York City and how his firm Stratton Oakmont engaged in rampant corruption and fraud on Wall Street that ultimately led to his downfall. Leonardo DiCaprio (who also co-produced the film) stars as Belfort, with Jonah Hill as his business partner and friend Donnie Azoff, Margot Robbie as his second wife Naomi Lapaglia, and Kyle Chandler as Patrick Denham, the FBI agent who tries to bring him down. Matthew McConaughey, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, and Jean Dujardin are also featured. DONNIE:

Hey, everybody! How’re the

happiest people in Long Island?

Hi, Rocky!!

(joining Jordan)

JORDAN:

Tell me about it. It’s gettingold, starting to sh*t inside thehouse again.

Jordan offers Donnie an O’Douls; Donnie declines.

DONNIE:

He shows off the electronic bracelet around his ankle.

DONNIE:

Donnie sees Naomi in a window. He waves but she barelyregisters him.

DONNIE:

JORDAN:

Had to mortgage the home to makebail. Probably gonna hafta sellit to pay my lawyers. If we fightthis thing.

He is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire (2010–14). Before creating Boardwalk Empire, Winter was a writer and executive producer for the HBO television series The Sopranos, from the show's second to sixth and final season (2000–2007).
