Osika enters with all her belongings parked up and leaving.

Boadi

where are you going all parked up?

Osika

I came to say thank you for all that

you’ve done for me all these while

staying with you. It's not everyone

who'll pick someone from the streets

and make them their own. I am leaving

Boadi

Leaving?

Tina

Going where?

Kess

Where would you go?

Osika

(sobbing) I don't know, but I have to.

Because my life is in danger here. I

can't live under this roof to be raped

over and over again and nothing is

done. Nobody is concerned about my

well being here. I don´t even know

who the rapist is, why he does what

he does, when he will show up again,

he might even kill me one of these

days. Last night is the 6th time I’d

been raped here and I have been

prevented from reporting to the police

and yet nothing has been done about it.

this person, whoever he is, blind folds

me, covers my mouth, locks my hands

and forces himself on me. I can't take

it any longer.

Doris

Sorry to come in here but... What are

you saying? What? All that happened

here?

Osika nods

Doris

Don't you have a boyfriend whom

you’ve perchance given a spare key

of the house to? Maybe he might

be the...

Osika

Arrh madam, no way! Please I don't

have a boyfriend. I don't even have

friends, to talk of a boyfriend.

Doris

You mean to say you have never...

Osika

Oh ma’am, I came here a virgin. I have

never known a man till I got raped here.

Doris

Hmmm. This is serious. Ok, Boadi,

haven't you lost your key recently or

carelessly left it somewhere that

someone could have made a copy?

Boadi

Never

Tiwaa

What of you sister?

Kess

None that I know off

Doris

Hmmm, don't any of you have a male

friend or any guy in the neighborhood

who might have an eye for Osika hence

got a master key for all these? Any

suspects?

Boadi

None that I know off

Kess

Same here. It's even a headache for me

Boadi

We're still investigating Doris. Osika what

about me changing your room for you

and the keys to the entire house?

Osika

All I want now is let me leave to save

my life.

Osika then hands Kess a hospital sheet to read; there they will accept her leaving...

Kess

So, is this true?

Osika

Yes mommy, that´s why I told you to do

that test to confirm…

Tina

What tests are you talking about?
