INT. WHITE BATHROOM - DAY

MEDIUM CLOSE UP of a PAINTING hanging on the wall. In this scenic painting, there are a plethora of shrub bushes with swirly roses on them, puffy powdered clouds that are perfectly spaced out from each other and sunshine rays beaming down on the tips of every grass blade in the open field. Accompanying this shot are subtle sounds of gentle wind, breathing through some tree leaves, and a precious song bird chirping away it's melodic tune.

EXTREME CLOSE UP of a pair of dead eyes gazing at the painting; as if there is barley any life left in them.

OVER THE SHOULDER of the man who bears the eyes, sitting in a WHITE BENTWOOD CHAIR waiting for his bath tub to fill up. The mans name is MICHEAL. In this shot we discover a vastly white colored bathroom, however there is a splash of teal harboring the bottom halves of the walls. Along with the mixed colors, the teal sections on the walls are also made out of SIMPLE RETANGULAR PORCELAIN TILES.

Inhabiting this bathroom is a PLAIN WHITE FLUORESCENT LIGHT on the ceiling, a vanilla, capsule like, BATHTUB, running with water on the left, and a SINK with a MEDICINE CABINET and MIRROR on the front, at the right. On this mirror is a polaroid photo of a U.S solider next to an open field dated '1969'. The middle of the Vietnam War.

LOW ANGLE parallel to the bathtubs height. Michael reaches, from out of frame, to turn of the tap and then he dips his hand into the crystal water; scooping water with closed fingers, and draining the water in-between open fingers. The way he lifts the water is elegant, but the way he drains it is deadening.

CLOSE UP of the war photo on the mirror. Michaels arm squeezes into frame and opens the cabinet door. PAN across the row of neatly organized pill bottles on the shelf. All but one of the pill bottles have yet to be finished. At the top right, there lies one last little cream colored pill sitting in its container; its lid is slightly opened.

MEDIUM side on shot of the medicine cabinet. Michael reaches into the cabinet and pulls out the bottle with the last pill in it. He unscrews the loosened lid and pops the pill into his mouth, swallowing it off screen without any water.

LATER:

CLOSE UP of the back of Michael, resting peacefully in the tub. He tilts his head back; almost like he is falling asleep. For a brief moment after Michael rests his head there is silence, until a harsh and jarring frequency is heard.

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. WHITE BATHROOM - NIGHT - DREAM

LOW ANGLE, CLOSE UP. A sudden brief glimpse of a hand being thrusted into the air. The frequency ends after the glimpse of the hand.

INT. WHITE BATHROOM - DAY

Michael is doing the same duties as he did yesterday. Gazing at the painting, filling the bathtub, and taking his medication.

Michael goes to take his medication however he comes to no avail, as all the prescription medication ran out.

P.O.V In front of us we see the cabinet door gently latch itself shut. After a brief moment of silence, the mirror on the front begins cracking ever so slightly until, a GLASS SHARD falls out of the mirror and hits the floor.

DUTCH ANGLE of cabinet mirror. A shotgun explosion of glass follows after, sending thousands of little puzzle pieces everywhere.

P.O.V we collapse to a kneeled position in response. Sounds of gunfire and explosions zipping past us. We spot the chunk of glass sitting in a puddle of smaller shards. We crawl over slowly, our hand is twitching restlessly from the noises, and is desperately reaching out for the large piece of glass. We fight the urge, battling with our hand at every moment. Shaking, twisting, clutching our hand into a fist until it is too much.

CUT TO:

INTERCUT with CABINET and BATHTUB

LOW ANGLE, CLOSE UP. The hand is sent into the open air. The gunfire and explosives come to a sudden halt, however the same harsh frequency heard before takes over. We sit in horror as we watch the arm start convulsing and soon, melting.

Flesh dripping off to the sides. Blood oozing from the veins in the wrist.

MEDIUM ANGLE SHOT parallel to the bathtubs height. The tub of water has now been transformed into a pool of blood, which is bubbling on the surface like molten lava. Pulsating blood starts bleeding over the edges of the tub, and is accompanied by SMOKE which is crawling its way out of the tub. An ominous blue shine emits from the depths.

LOW ANGLE, CLOSE UP. Cold air stings the recently exposed wounds. The grasped fingers wince in agony, The same skin from the hand, now peeled down to the forearm.

MEDIUM ANGLE SHOT parallel to the bathtubs height. A horrifying face silhouette with a slack jaw, presses against the sticky blood from inside the bath.

CUT TO BLACK:

WIDE SHOT of the cabinet mirror and the glass shards missing. The empty pill bottles have been scattered around the room.

MID SHOT of the chair laying hopelessly on its side, crying out for help.

CLOSE UP of the staticky fluorescent light blaring its signature noise. The camera moves down and finds Michael laying in a blood filled bath with his right hand hanging out of it; dripping a combination of water and blood from his fingertips. Just under his hanging hand is a bloody shard of glass laying on the floor.

SLOWLY DOLLY PAST the hand, and the broken shards of glass that have been dispersed on the floor. LIFT to EYE LEVEL to a CLOSE UP of the painting that has been splashed with Michaels blood. The same fragile winds and peaceful chirps are heard, this time much louder than before.

THE END.
