A NEW WORLD episode 1 : LALUZ FALLS Page #5

Season #1 Episode #1
Synopsis: The story of "The Lost Book of Enki" revolves around the ancient Sumerian gods known as the Anunnaki, who arrived on KI to mine gold and were responsible for creating a civilization. Enki, one of the Anunnaki, is the main protagonist and is depicted as a wise and cunning god who often clashes with his jealous and power-hungry half-brother Enlil. Enki is also enamored with his half-sister Ninmah, who is envious of her brothers' power and resents being left out of their inner circle. The story follows Enki's attempts to navigate the complex power dynamics of the Anunnaki while also trying to protect his new creation from Enlil's wrath. A true template of human existence exploring the darkest recesses of the human psyche, offering a chilling glimpse into the depths of our collective unconscious. An admission detailing the dangers of jealousy and envy, the ethical implications of playing god, and the consequences of seeking power at all costs.

Scene 44

The Royal Amphitheater glows in a dazzling display of light, a 12-sided crystal masterpiece. The camera follows in close-up LALUZ, MARDUK, the twins, and EA as they enter the room, all taking their seats except LALUZ, who chooses to stand beside his seat. Our viewpoint is mostly tight close-ups of LALUZ's upper torso and face, capturing every subtle nuance of his expression. As LALUZ strides towards the podium, the murmurs of the crowd grow louder. But once he stands in front of the Council of Counselors and the gathered masses, absolute silence descends. Cut to a wide shot of LALUZ as he speaks with a commanding presence, his voice ringing out across the amphitheater,

Scene 45

LALUZ:
THE TIME FOR WAITING IS OVER. I, THE GREAT LALUZ, YOUR KING,  A DECISION HAS  MADE. A QUICK REMEDY IN THE PRESENT IS NEEDED, BUT TO ASSURE OUR FUTURE, A LONG TERM SOLUTION, I WILL GIVE YOU.

Pausing for emphasis, then continues,

LALUZ:
LET CELESTIAL BOATS BE CONSTRUCTED BY OUR GREATEST ENGINEER AND MASTER OF THE WATERS… PRINCE EA

The camera Pans out as the crowd cheers and some chant EA's name. Cut to LALUZ as he quiets them with a closing of his hand and a stern look, asserting his authority. The camera stays on LALUZ as he continues.

Scene 46

LALUZ:
LET MY SONS, THE GREAT COMMANDERS OF THE GROUND AND SKY, RIP OUT THE GOLD FROM WITHIN THE HAMMERED BRACELET. LET MY SONS, SALVATION, TO NEVERMORE BRING.

The crowd erupts with excitement and some begin to chant all the heroes' names, their cheers echoing throughout the 12-sided crystal room. The camera stays on LALUZ as he basks in their admiration, his face radiating with a sense of purpose and pride.

Scene 47

EA (voiceover):

THE CROWD STOOD AND CHEERED. LALUZ SMILED.

Scene 48

The cheering slowly stops as we pan up to the vast and endless expanse of the dark void of space, with thousands of twinkling stars in the distance.

EA (voiceover):

BY THE HAMMERED BRACELET THE BOATS WERE CRUSHED; HIS SONS, LULU AND ALI DID NOT RETURN. LALUZ WAS NEVER SEEN SMILING AGAIN.

LALUZ (voiceover):

THE FIRE STONES IN THE CHARIOT MORE STRONGLY STIRRED UP, THAT-WHICH-SHOWS-THE-WAY WITH STEADY HANDS, I DIRECTED. THE OMINOUS BOULDERS AGAINST THE CHARIOT CHARGED FORWARD, LIKE AN ENEMY IN BATTLE ATTACKING.

Scene 51

Cut to an inside shot of a determined LALUZ looking outside at the hammered bracelet, letting out a primal scream, escalating in intensity with every missile he launches.

LALUZ (voiceover):

TOWARD THEM  A DEATH-DEALING MISSILE FROM THE CHARIOT I LET LOOSE,THEN ANOTHER AND ANOTHER AGAINST THE ENEMY, TERROR WEAPONS I THRUSTED.

The first missile misses. The camera follows it. It hits KI, causing a hole in the firmament, blue debris rains down on a Sierra Leone, Africa earth-like location. The camera cuts back to inside the chariot. The next two hit the boulders and as fire surrounds him, with a hand to his head, LALUZ closes his eyes convinced that this was the end. Cut to an outside shot of exploding boulders raining down debris on the ship's lower hull.

Scene 52

The camera pans out to show the full scope of the battle, with the chariot navigating through a chaotic sea of space debris. The tension builds as the exploding boulders relentlessly pursue the chariot, their impact causing sparks and explosions. It's apparent that the ship has endured a great amount of damage. It is no longer spinning. Still moving but the engines are off. The music abruptly stops as LALUZ starts to speak.

LALUZ (voiceover):

AS FRIGHTENED WARRIORS THE BOULDERS

TURNED BACK, A PATH THROUGH THE HAMMERED BRACELET GRANTING.

Scene 54

Cut to a shot of the barren, reddish-brown MARS. In the distance, the south is covered with a blanket of glistening snow. Cut to the exterior part of the ship as LALUZ turns on the engines and we see the chariot's fire stones light up.

LALUZ (voiceover):

MARS, A RED-BROWN SOLID ; THE SIXTH IN THE COUNT OF CELESTIAL BODIES. SEEN ONLY MOMENTARILY, ON ITS DESTINED COURSE, THE CHARIOT QUICKLY MOVED.

Cut to a wide shot as the chariot flies closer to the snow-capped south of MARS, giving a glimpse of its icy terrain before it disappears ; its fire stones blazing as it hurtles through the vast expanse of space while no longer spinning.

LALUZ (voiceover):

SMALLER THAN NEVERMORE WAS ITS ALLURING BALL, WEAKER THAN NEVERMORE WAS ITS ATTRACTING NET. ITS ATMOSPHERE THINNER THAN NEVERMORE WAS, CLOUDS WERE WITH IN IT SWIRLING.

Scene 57

Cut to a closer outside shot of Ki

LALUZ (voiceover): BELOW, KI INTO THREE REGIONS WAS DIVIDED: SNOW WHITE AT THE TOP, ON THE BOTTOM AND AROUND, BLUE AND BROWN IN BETWEEN.

Scene 58

As he speaks, we see a wide shot of the spaceship opening its wings, revealing the majesty of its technology against the vastness of space.

LALUZ (voiceover):

DEFTLY I SPREAD THE CHARIOT'S ARRESTING WINGS AROUND KI TO CIRCLE IT. IN THE MIDDLE REGION DRY LANDS AND WATERY OCEANS I COULD DISCERN.

As LALUZ's words fill the void, we witness the spaceship circling Ki from a distance, showcasing Ki's intricate details and its place in the vastness of this universe.

Scene 59

LALUZ (voiceover):

THE BEAM THAT PENETRATES DOWNWARD I DIRECTED, KI INNARDS TO DETECT. (1:33)

As the ship hovers in the vast emptiness of space, we witness a brilliant spectacle unfold. The ship's lights flicker and pulse, casting an eerie glow on the dark void. Suddenly, a beam of light shoots out from the ship, a sonic wave of pure energy that seems to reverberate throughout the universe. As we watch from afar, we can see the beam striking KI below, illuminating it in a blinding flash of light. The very air around the ship seems to vibrate with the power of the beam, as though the ship were an extension of the very fabric of the cosmos. In this moment, we are reminded of the tremendous power possessed by the NEVERMORIANS.
