LALUZ (triumphantly): I HAVE ATTAINED IT ! GOLD, MUCH GOLD;  IT WAS BENEATH THE DARK-HUED REGIONS, IN THE WATERS IT WAS TOO !

Scene 61

Cut to a wide shot of the ship gliding closer to the opening.

LALUZ (voiceover):

THE GATE OF THE FIRMAMENT UNLOCKED AND OPENED WAS; BEFORE ME LAY THE PATHWAY. WITH POUNDING HEART A DECISION I WAS CONTEMPLATING : SHALL I ON DRY LAND MY CHARIOT BRING DOWN, PERCHANCE TO CRASH AND DIE ? SHALL TO THE WATERS MY COURSE DIRECT, TO PERCHANCE INTO OBLIVION SINK ? TO FATE'S HANDS THE CHARIOT I ENTRUSTED.

Scene 61:

The camera captures a magnificent wide shot of the ship gracefully gliding through the opening, revealing a breathtaking view of the vast expanse ahead.

LALUZ (voiceover):

AS THE GATE OF THE FIRMAMENT LAID UNLOCKED AND OPENED BEFORE ME, A MOMENT OF UNCERTAINTY ENVELOPED MY BEING. MY HEART POUNDED WITH ANTICIPATION AS I CONTEMPLATED A CRUCIAL DECISION. SHOULD I DESCEND MY CHARIOT ONTO DRY LAND, RISKING A POTENTIAL CRASH AND DEMISE? OR SHOULD I DIRECT MY COURSE TOWARDS THE WATERS, RISKING THE POSSIBILITY OF SINKING INTO OBLIVION? WITH UNWAVERING TRUST IN THE HANDS OF FATE, I ENTRUSTED THE FATE OF THE CHARIOT TO THE UNKNOWN.

Cut to EXT. CHARIOT - KI

Scene 62

A medium shot - The ship hurtling towards KI at a breakneck pace with wings fully extended. The exterior of the ship begins to turn a deep shade of red as it descends.

LALUZ (voiceover):

FULLY CAUGHT IN KI'S ATTRACTING NET, THE CHARIOT WAS MOVING FASTER. ITS SPREAD WINGS BECAME AGLOW; KI'S ATMOSPHERE LIKE AN OVEN WAS.

Scene 63

Suddenly, the camera cuts to an interior shot of the ship, showing LALUZ being jolted around in his seat as the ship crashes through the thick atmosphere of Ki..

LALUZ (voiceover):

THEN THE CHARIOT SHOOK, EMITTING A MORTIFYING THUNDER. WITH ABRUPTNESS THE CHARIOT CRASHED WITH A SUDDENNESS ALTOGETHER STOPPING.

Everything goes silent.

EXT. ROYAL AMPHITHEATER - DAY (reddish hue)

Scene 64

Shot in close-up. LALUZ stands before a sea of faces in the ROYAL AMPHITHEATER.

LALUZ (SEETHING): LET THE WEAPONS OF TERROR TEAR OPEN THE BOWELS OF NEVERMORE, LET THE FIERY DEPTHS ERUPT WITH RENEWED VIGOR!

Scene 65

Silence greets his words as he returns to his throne with no cheers, no applause, only an uneasy tension that lingers in the air.

Cut to EXT. PALACE OF THE CHARIOTS - DAY (reddish hue)

Scene 66

Cut to inside The Palace of the Chariots; red missiles are being installed into ships.

EA (voiceover):

WITH WEAPONS OF TERROR SKY BORNE CHARIOTS WERE ARMED,

Cut to EXT. VOLCANO - NIGHT (reddish hue)

Scene 67

Cut to outside shots of Nevermore's volcanoes being hit with a projectile. The missile flies into the volcano.

EA (voiceover):

WITH TERROR MISSILES FROM THE SKIES WERE VOLCANOES STRUCK.

Cut to an outside shot of a NEVERMORE MOUNTAIN

EXT. MOUNTAINSIDE - NIGHT (dark hue)

Scene 68

Close-up as rocks fall from the mountainside. Cut to close-ups of NEVERMORIANS, looking up in awe and fear as brilliant flashes of light light up the sky.

EA (voiceover):

THE MOUNTAINS SWAYED AND THE VALLEYS SHUDDERED AS GREAT EXPLOSIONS WITH THUNDER SHOOK NEVERMORE.

Cut to EXT. FARM - DAY (dark hue)

Scene 69

EA (voiceover):

IN THE LAND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING; OF ABUNDANCE THERE WERE EXPECTATIONS.

Cut to close-ups of NEVERMORIANS dancing in the fields anticipating a bountiful harvest.

Cut to EXT. DESERT SETTING - DAY (dark hue)

Scene 70

Cut to close-up of NEVERMORIANS trudging through a barren wasteland, sand whipping around them as harsh winds buffet their faces. They look up at the sky with despair, praying for relief from the drought.

EA (voiceover):

IN THE LAND REJOICING RECEDED; RAINS WERE WITHHELD, WINDS BLEW HARDER

Cut to EXT. VOLCANO - DAY (dark hue)

Scene 71

Cut to close-ups of NEVERMORIANS, standing at the base of a dormant volcano, staring up at the sky as ash falls around them. They shake their heads in disappointment, knowing that their hopes for renewed volcanic activity have been dashed.

EA (voiceover):

THE BELCHING BY VOLCANOES DID NOT INCREASE,THE BREACH IN THE ATMOSPHERE DID NOT HEAL.

Cut to EXT. NEVERMORE - DAY TO NIGHT(dark hue)

Scene 72

The camera pans across Nevermore's surface ; glowing red and blue as extreme temperatures ravage this world.

EA (voiceover):

IN THE HEAVENS NEVERMORE ITS CIRCUITS KEPT COURSING; FROM  CIRCUIT TO CIRCUIT HEAT AND COLD GREW HARDER TO SUFFER.

Cut to EXT. PALACE - DAY (dark hue)

Scene 73

Camera pans over some NEVERMORIANS, rioting outside the palace gates, holding signs and shouting slogans against their king. Some weep openly, mourning their impending doom. "Laluz!" "Help us!" "What have you done?!" "What will we do?!" "You have forsaken us!"

EA (voiceover):

THE PEOPLE OF NEVERMORE CEASED TO REVERE THEIR KING; INSTEAD OF RELIEF, MISERY HE CAUSED!

Scene 74

The camera cuts to LALUZ sitting on his throne, his expression distant and detached. The atmosphere around him is tense, and his courtiers are whispering to one another.

EA (voiceover):

LALUZ ON THE THRONE REMAINED SEATED.

Scene 75

EA (voiceover):

THE STRONG AND WISE M.ANU, MY FATHER, FOREMOST AMONG PRINCES, WAS STANDING BEFORE HIM.

The camera cuts to a close-up of a now 35 year old M.ANU's face, which is stern and resolute. He is standing before LALUZ on the dais, his arms folded across his chest, after challenging LALUZ to a duel for the throne. The camera focuses on his bright left blue eagle eye, which glitters with determination.

Scene 76

Total darkness. A gradual fade into a tight shot of LALUZ sitting on the commander's seat head down.

LALUZ (voiceover):

I WAS LEFT DAZED, SENSELESS FROM THE SHAKING, STUNNED BY THE CRASH, INSIDE THE CHARIOT I SLOWLY OPENED MY EYES. I FOUND MYSELF STILL IN THE CHARIOT. THE OUTSIDE LIGHTS FLICKERING ON, CASTING A WARM GLOW. THE OUTSIDE WAS BATHED IN A FADING LIGHT THAT WOULDN'T LAST MUCH LONGER. GRADUALLY I LIFTED MY HEAD, IN A NEW WORLD. (:17)

Scene 77

The camera follows LALUZ in close-up.

LALUZ (voiceover):

THE DAMAGE TO THE CHARIOT WAS SEVERE, AND THE LANDING EQUIPMENT WAS DESTROYED. STRANDED WITH NO MEANS OF ESCAPE, AT THE CELESTIAL BODY OF SALVATION, I VICTORIOUSLY ARRIVED. WITH A BEAM I SCANNED THE PLACE, MY WHEREABOUTS TO DISCOVER;

Scene 78

A wide outside shot as the beam shoots out from the spacecraft like a bolt of lightning, illuminating the darkening landscape with a pulsing, blue-white light. The beam is incredibly powerful, capable of scanning every inch of the visible terrain with incredible detail. The beam pans 360 degrees around the spacecraft, revealing hidden caves, glittering geodes, and ancient ruins buried in dirt. Cut back to LALUZ.
