Scene 40

We hear the somber voice of EA. The camera pans a funeral procession as mourners pay their respects to the fallen king. The atmosphere is solemn and heavy with grief. After EA's voiceover it starts to rain.

EA (voiceover) :

M.AN.KI, HIS REIGN WAS ALMOST 3 SHARS AND AT 27, SUCCUMBED TO A STRANGE SICKNESS AND EVENTUALLY PASSED AWAY WITH NO HEIR.

The camera pans the mourners, focusing on his younger brother's wife, his aunt MA.LISA, M.AN'S youngest sister, mother of the future queens and her non-sad face.(She is not introduced) (Her story is told in season 2)

Cut to EXT - ROYAL PALACE (raining)

Scene 41

Cut to a wide angle shot- We see IB being crowned as the new king in a grand ceremony accepting the weighty responsibility that comes with ruling a kingdom.

EA (voiceover):

WITH M.AN.KI'S UNTIMELY DEMISE, THE CROWN AND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RULING THE LAND FELL UPON THE SHOULDERS OF HIS YOUNGER BROTHER, IB.

EA (voiceover) :

THE THIRD KING, IB, 17, "THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE". IB WAS TROUBLED CAUSE HE DIDN'T PHYSICALLY RESEMBLE HIS FATHER. WITH SHINY DARK SKIN, LONG BRAIDED BLACK HAIR, GREEN SNAKE EYES WITH WINGS AND A LONG TAIL 7' 2 300. THE RED RAM LOGO. TOURNAMENT CHAMPION. Red super suit with a white cape and a purple crown.

 

Scene 42

Cut to EXT. ROYAL BALCONY - DAY(raining)

The lush landscape of Nevermore is shown, with a single figure, IB, standing tall in the center of the frame. He looks out into the distance, with a deep sadness in his eyes standing on the royal crystal balcony.

Cut to INT. NEVERMORE PALACE - DAY(cloudy)

IB is seen walking through the grand hall of the palace, his footsteps echoing off the walls. His subjects bow before him, but he pays them no mind. His eyes are distant, lost in thought.

EA (voiceover) :

IB'S GRIEF HAD TURNED INTO A DARKNESS THAT CONSUMED HIM. HE SHUT HIMSELF OFF FROM THE WORLD, HIDING BEHIND THE WALLS OF HIS PALACE.

The camera follows IB as he walks through the palace, passing by empty rooms and unused corridors. The once grand palace now seems desolate and abandoned.

EA (voiceover) :

HE BECAME A PRISONER OF HIS OWN PAIN, TRAPPED IN A WORLD OF SORROW AND REGRET.

Scene 43

Cut to INT. IB'S CHAMBERS - NIGHT (raining)

IB is shown sitting staring at a portrait of his family that hangs on the wall. His face is a mask of anguish and regret.

EA (voiceover) :

10 SHARS HAVE PASSED AND IB, THE THIRD KING OF NEVERMORE, WAS BURDENED WITH A GREAT SENSE OF LOSS. HE HAD LOST BOTH HIS PARENTS AND BOTH OF HIS BROTHERS, AND THE WEIGHT OF THEIR ABSENCE WAS HEAVY ON HIS SOUL.

Ma.ri,15, enters his chamber. The music stops.(3:45)

RENAMED M.AN.IB, 27, "HE WHO IS M.AN'S SECOND SON" WHEN HE MARRIED, MA.RI, 15, RENAMED NIN.IB, "LADY OF IB", YOUNGER BROTHER'S 2ND ELDEST DAUGHTER. SHINY WHITE SKIN, LONG BLOND HAIR, BLUE EAGLE EYES WITH WINGS, 6'10 235. A BLUE LION LOGO. Blue dress with beads and gems in her hair, a white cape, white boots and a purple crown.

The camera focuses on her very seductive eyes as she closes the door behind her.

EXT. NEVERMORE - DAY (sunny)

Scene 44

Cut to a tight shot of M.IB riding through the countryside on horseback, his armor gleaming in the sunlight. He stops at a cliff overlooking a river, and gazes out into the distance. The camera follows him in close-up as he dismounts.

EA (voiceover) :

DESPITE HIS STRENGTH AND HIS PROWESS AS A WARRIOR, IB WAS HAUNTED BY THE MEMORIES OF HIS FAMILY. HE OFTEN FOUND SOLACE IN THE BEAUTY OF THE NATURAL WORLD, BUT EVEN THAT COULD NOT EASE THE ACHE IN HIS HEART.

Scene 45

Cut to INT. M.IB'S CHAMBERS - NIGHT (raining)

M.IB is shown alone in his bedchamber, staring at the ceiling. He sighs deeply, and the weight of his grief is palpable.

EA (voiceover) :

FOR IB, THE BURDEN OF HIS LOSS WAS A CONSTANT COMPANION, AND HE KNEW THAT HE WOULD CARRY IT WITH HIM ALWAYS.

His wife, NIN.IB, 17 and her sister, MA.RU, 15 enter his chamber.

EA (voiceover) :

MA.RU, 15, YOUNGER BROTHER'S YOUNGEST DAUGHTER. SHINY WHITE SKIN, LONG BLOND HAIR WITH BIG BREASTS, BLUE EAGLE EYES WITH WINGS  6' 10  250 A BLUE LION LOGO. Yellow dress, with beads and gems in her hair, white boots.

The door closes.

Cut to EXT. ROYAL BALCONY - DAY(raining)

M.IB, the king, standing alone on the royal crystal balcony looking solemnly at his people, as if acknowledging the burden that has been placed upon him.

MARRIED KI.SHAR.GAL, 18, UNSTABLE AND DECEITFUL. SHE WAS IN CHARGE. SHE BULLIED THE KING PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY. HIS HALF SISTER, BOTH OFFSPRING OF KING M.AN.IB. HER MOTHER WAS EN.URU’S YOUNGEST DAUGHTER, MA.RU, WHO AFTER GIVING BIRTH DISAPPEARED. SHE WAS RAISED BY MA.LISA. SHINY BROWN SKIN, LONG BUNNED BROWN HAIR WITH BIG BREASTS, BLUE EAGLE EYES AND WINGS 7’ 250 A RED RAM LOGO. Red dress, extravagant jewelry and flowing purple silk robes, purple boots and a purple crown.

Scene 48

The camera pans over a lavish royal court, with King M.AN.SHAR.GAL standing, looking small and vulnerable compared to his older, imposing wife Ki.SHAR.GAL, who is sitting on one throne. She is dressed in extravagant jewelry and flowing silk robes, her sharp features twisted into a cruel smile as she barks orders at the courtiers. The young king looks weary and afraid as Ki.SHAR.GAL dominates the room, her voice cutting through the air like a sharp blade. The courtiers look on with a mix of fear and disgust, clearly unhappy with the turn of events.

Scene 49

The camera follows Ki.SHAR.GAL's cruel nature as she openly mocks and belittles the young king in front of everyone. It becomes clear that she is the one in charge, making all the decisions and using her power to get what she wants. Despite the king's attempts to assert himself, Ki.SHAR.GAL's hold on him only grows stronger. It is clear that she will stop at nothing to maintain her grip on the throne, even if it means destroying her own half-brother in the process.
