Scene 67

A dimly lit chamber, KI.SHAR.GAL, wearing a red dress with a purple cape and a purple crown and no footwear, sat on the throne, her eyes glazed over as she muttered to herself incoherently. Surrounding her were a group of advisors, their faces etched with concern.

EA (voiceover):

AFTER AL.AM WAS BORN, SHE HAD A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN THAT SPIRALED INTO AN UNSTABLE MIND. 5 SHAR LATER SHE HAD A SON. KI.SHAR.GAL, CONSUMED BY HER MADNESS AND GREED, DECLARED THAT ONLY THE OFFSPRING OF "THE DOUBLE SEED" OF ROYAL BLOOD WOULD BE ELIGIBLE TO ASCEND TO THE THRONE, REGARDLESS OF BIRTH ORDER OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS DECREE SENT SHOCKWAVES THROUGHOUT THE KINGDOM, AND MANY WHISPERED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS OF THE QUEEN'S DETERIORATING MENTAL STATE.

KI.SHAR.GAL (ELITE English accent)(wildly gesturing): THE DOUBLE SEED! THE DOUBLE SEED! IT MUST BE SO! ONLY THEY CAN LEAD US TO GLORY! ONLY THEY CAN LEAD US TO THE STARS!

One of the advisors, a man with greying hair, stepped forward tentatively.

ADVISOR (Spanish accent) : MY QUEEN, WE MUST CONSIDER THE CONSEQUENCES OF SUCH A DECREE. IT GOES AGAINST TRADITION AND COULD CREATE UNREST AMONG THE PEOPLE.

KI.SHAR.GAL (ELITE English accent) (glaring): I AM THE QUEEN! MY WORD IS LAW! THE DOUBLE SEED SHALL INHERIT THE THRONE, AND THAT IS FINAL!

The advisor bowed his head and stepped back, his face troubled. As KI.SHAR.GAL continued to rant and rave, the other advisors exchanged worried glances, wondering what would become of the kingdom under such unstable rule. (The actress will ad lib her ranting and raving.)

Scene 70

The camera opens to a desolate landscape, The sky above is dark, and the biting cold seems to penetrate through every layer of clothing. Suddenly, the horizon begins to glow, and a harsh, glaring light begins to spread across the sky. The camera pans down to show a thermometer rising rapidly in the heat, before cutting back to the desolate wasteland.

EA (voiceover) :

NEVERMORE’S ATMOSPHERE WAS COLLAPSING. NEVERMORE’S CLIMATE WAS BITTER COLD WHEN THE SUN WAS AWAY AND HORRIBLY HOT AS THE SUN APPROACHED.

 

Scene 71

EXT. NEVERMORE - DAY (yellowish-brown)

The once lush and verdant land of NEVERMORE is now barren and desolate. The sky is a sickly shade of yellowish-brown, and the air is thick with smog and ash.

EA (voiceover) :

THE VERY AIR THEY BREATHED WAS TAINTED, THE WATER UNDRINKABLE. LIFE AS THEY KNEW IT WAS SLOWLY BUT SURELY COMING TO AN END. FAMINE AND HARDSHIP SPREAD LIKE A WILDFIRE, AND THE PEOPLE OF NEVERMORE STRUGGLED TO SURVIVE IN THIS APOCALYPTIC WASTELAND.

The camera pans across a desolate landscape of Nevermore, where the air is thin and heavy, and the sky is shrouded in a murky haze. The sound of howling winds fills the air, adding to the ominous feeling of the scene.

Scene 72

Cut to a group of scientists in a crystal laboratory huddled over a table, examining futuristic charts and graphs. They're working on a solution to the crisis, their eyes bloodshot from long hours of work.

EA (voiceover) :

NEVERMORE'S ATMOSPHERE WAS COLLAPSING, AND WITH IT, THE HOPES AND DREAMS OF ITS PEOPLE. A BREACH HAD BEEN DISCOVERED, AIR WAS ESCAPING, BECOMING THINNER WITH EACH PASSING MOMENT. FAMINE AND HARDSHIP SPREAD ACROSS NEVERMORE, AS ITS PEOPLE STRUGGLED TO SURVIVE IN THE FACE OF A DYING WORLD. BUT THERE WERE THOSE WHO REFUSED TO GIVE UP HOPE, WHO WORKED TIRELESSLY TO FIND A SOLUTION TO THE CRISIS AT HAND.

Then camera cuts to a group of engineers and technicians, (no wings and no tails) frantically working on a complex machine. The hum of machinery fills the air as they race against time to complete their task.

EA (voiceover) :

MANY WORKED, DAY AND NIGHT, DRIVEN BY A FIERCE DETERMINATION TO SAVE THEIR WORLD. THE FATE OF NEVERMORE HUNG IN THE BALANCE, AS ITS PEOPLE STRUGGLED AGAINST IMPOSSIBLE ODDS TO SURVIVE.

Scene 73

Cut to- The camera slowly zooms out, revealing the vast expanse of the desolate land, with nothing but ruins and debris as far as the eye can see.

EA (voiceover) :

THE VOLCANIC ACTIVITY THAT HAD ONCE WARMED NEVERMORE'S ATMOSPHERE GREATLY LESSENED, EMITTING FEWER GASES AND CAUSING THE AIR TO COOL RAPIDLY. THIS LED TO A CATASTROPHIC COOLING EVENT THAT BROUGHT FAMINE AND DEATH TO THE LAND.

EA (voiceover) :

THE SIXTH KING, EN.SHAR, "LORDLY MASTER OF THE PRINCES” SON OF M.AN.SHAR AND KI.SHAR. HE SPENT MOST OF HIS REIGN IN AN ORBITING SPACE LAB. HE NEVER CONSUMMATED HIS MARRIAGE. SHINY WHITE SKIN, SHOULDER LENGTH BLOND HAIR, BLUE EAGLE EYES, WITH WINGS  6' 8 300. A RED RAM LOGO. Yellow super suit with a yellow cape and purple crown.

EXT. SPACE STATION - DEEP OUTER-SPACE

Cut to-The camera pans over a vast space station orbiting around Nevermore. Inside, we see a bustling lab filled with advanced technology, as teams of scientists in white lab coats hurry about, performing experiments and analyzing data. EN.SHAR, the leader of the expedition, stands at the head of a conference table, his eyes fixed on a holographic image of a volcanic planet.

EA (voiceover) :

EN.SHAR SENT TEAMS OF SCIENTISTS IN SPACESHIPS TO STUDY THE SOLAR SYSTEM. HE STUDIED THE VOLCANOES AND THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE OTHER WORLDS.
