(16)William lays down on the grave on his back,he folds his arms across his chest and looks up at the big beautiful blue ski,he smiles then closes his eye’s.
At that very moment the grave caves in,knocking him unconscious and burying him alive.
(Because of the way the grave has collapsed it is showing no indication of William, beneath the earth.)
EXT:
CEMETERY NIGHTWilliam’s cell phone rings, and it is heard from beneath the earth.
INT:
GIRLFRIENDS HOUSEIt is his girl friend calling concerned with Williams where about’s.
EXT:
CEMETERY NIGHTThe phone rings into the night.
(FADE TO BLACK) EXT: CEMETERY,DAYLIGHT
DAWN APPROACHES AND THERE IS A SHOT OF A LARGE BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE, SO INTENSE YOU CAN FEEL THE HEAT.
Two cemetery workers are walking up the pathway towards the collapsed grave,carrying shovels and pushing a wheel barrel.
One of the workers notices the indent to the left of the path so they both go over to investigate and standing over the grave looking down.
Ya.
WORKER # TWO
WORKER # ONE
Over five hundred graves a year collapse
in North America due to the deterioration of the caskets over a period of time.
(CONTINUED)

Really?
WORKER # TWO
WORKER # ONE
Ya. Well we had better fill it in before
someone falls in and hurts themselves or worse, kills themselves.
Ya.
WORKER # TWO
They load the wheel barrel with the earth from a near by grave site that has just been recently dug up. As they are dumping the second load there is a slight movement from the bottom of the collapsed grave but it goes unnoticed by the workers as dump the third and final load into the hole. They level the surface with their rake and pat it down with the shovel.
WORKER # TWO (CONT’D)
Earth to earth and dust to dust, rest in
peace all good people.
Well said.
WORKER # ONE
They gather their things and continue walking down the path until there out of sight.
