FRANK:

You can’t we not on the clock so

whatever we find or found we can’t

use it, use your head.

DETECTIVE RODGER

What the f*** are we going to do

then cause if their smart, they

have the front and back secured.

FRANK:

Your right about that

So what?

DETECTIVE RODGERS

FRANK:

We wait.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Are you f***ing serious?

FRANK:

Yeah you have your gun, right? I

have mine. Worst case scenario we

have a shootout.

They hear the door downstairs burst open. Frank signals to William and

Rodgers to get in the closet.

FRANK:

(whispering)

Just be quiet I know why they’re

here. The old mans out cold, so

there just going to take him.

After that we can leave.

DOWNSTARIS LIVING ROOM

Three men dressed in all black wa.lk around the apartment

MAN #1

I guess someone got to him first.

MAN #2

Who the f*** cares? Grab him and

lets f***ing go.

30.

Two of the men proceeds to grab the unconscious Arthur. They hear a

sound coming from upstairs. The third man draws his tiny pistol and

head upstairs.

MAN #3

Hurry and put the body in their

car. I’ll be right behind you.

Man #3 creeps upstairs with his pistol drawn. He sees a broken lamp on

the floor, and walks towards it, spotting a closet.

Frank and the rest of the crew see him looking at the closet. Frank has

his gun drawn and ready.

Man number 3 walks slowly goes to the closet. As he goes to open the

closet door, he hears a voice from downstairs.

MAN #2

Hey! Let’s go you’re taking too

f***ing long!

MAN #3

I could’ve sworn I heard something

MAN #2

Who the f*** cares, let’s go we

got what we was looking for.

INT. SUZYS COFFEE SHOP - THE NEXT MORNING

CUT TO:

Frank was reading the daily newspaper across from him was detective

Rodgers drinking coffee eating a ham and cheese omelet, frank sips his

coffee and says

FRANK:

If he’s not our guy, he sure as

hell knows where we can find him.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Or he’s just heavily influenced.

FRANK:

(sips coffee)

Yeah, yeah and that to.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

I mean to have girls in your room

like that is not normal and have a

plastic zip lock bag of girls hair

stuck in that magazine is suspect.

31.

FRANK:

It’s damn sure a starting point.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

I mean Frank, what if it’s really

him and not HU. I mean you said

yourself that HU just vanished,

and he has no reason to come back.

Frank sips his coffee and sighs.

What?

DETECTIVE RODGERS

FRANK:

It don’t matter who killed Robin

just know there will be no one like HU ever! And if he was back, trust me you would know it.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

So where’s your partner?

FRANK:

His meeting. He is staying with me

and the deal is he has to get

himself clean to keep staying with

me.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Well aint that nice of you

Frank sips his coffee and shoots Rodgers the middle finger

DETECTIVE RODGERS

(laughing)

F*** you to partner

FRANK:

So, what you got plan for the rest

of the day?

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Well today is my off day, so after

this I have to spend quality time

with the wife.

Detective Rodgers sighs and rub his scruffy beard.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Ever since this case started my

homelife just hasn’t been the

same, she says I haven’t been the

same. I’ve been distant or

something-

32.

Do you?

DETECTIVE RODGERS

FRANK:

I know the feeling

FRANK:

Yeah but all you can do is just be

there or at least try to. I hate

to break it to you as we get

deeper in this case the homelife

may be on the back burner

Detective Rodgers just looks and sips his coffee.

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Anyways what are we going to do

about last night I can’t file a

report cause we wasn’t supposed to

be there, but Arthur still hasn’t

come up.

FRANK:

Don’t worry about that, I know who

has him.

Who?

DETECTIVE RODGERS

Frank gets up from the table, takes out his wallet and pays the bill.

He taps Rodgers on the shoulder.

FRANK:

Have a good day off. I’ll take

care of it. Call you tomorrow.

EXT.PEDROS BASEMENT - MOMENTS LATER

Pedro beats Arthur who is tied to a chair. The cuts on his face and

swollen eyes tell you that it’s been a while.

AUTHUR:

(exhausted)

No please stop I’m telling you I

don’t know what y’all are talking

about please

Blood drips from his lip.

Pedro walks around Arthur chair slowly

PEDRO:

If you come up dead no one would

care or know... I know your wife

left you a couple of years back

because you like touching on

little girls.

33.

ARTHUR:

You don’t know sh*t you f***ing

wetback!

PEDRO:

Damn you got some nuts, but look

around, I’m not the one that’s

half dead here.

Pedro directs one of his thugs to start beating him again

PEDRO:

Let him go

What?

THUG #1

PEDRO:

If the old man want to play tough,

then he can die that way. Let him

go and one of y’all take him to an

alley and put a bullet in his

head.

THUG #1

But you know the cops are on him

and if they find him, then what?

PEDRO:

Then nothing. He likes messing

with little girls and he murdered

your girl. Sh*t! For all I know we

doing justice for the pigs.

ARTHUR:

Yeah you right! F*** it, just kill

me. I did messed with little girls

and I did kill this son of a

b*tch girlfriend or whore and

another thing about me that y’all

should know is that I loved

whores. Especially lover boys

little girlfriend.

THUG #1

Let me shoot him boss! C’mon why

is this b*tch still talking?!

ARTHUR:

Yeah please shoot me! I know we

are at one of y’all house and a

dead body at a place one of you

lay your head is bad... besides

cleaning up a dead body is hard
