26. William walks up to Arthur doorstep and he rings the doorbell.
A couple of seconds go by, no answer.
William waits a few more seconds and rings it again, still no answer.
By the third time William is starting to get worried, a light turns on
and an older man opens the door.
ARTHUR:
Can I help you?
WILLIAM:
Yeah, I was looking for Jasmine
ARTHUR:
A jasmine doesn’t live here sir.
WILLIAM:
Are you sure because I just talked
to her and she sent me this
address
ARTHUR:
I’m pretty sure
William hesitates.
So you like strippers?
ARTHUR:
Excuse me?
WILLIAM:
You heard me. Jasmine was Robin’s
friend. Do you know Robin?
WILLIAM:
I think you need to leave sir,
before I call the police.
Before Arthur could close the door, Frank and Detective Rodgers comes
from outback.
FRANK:
Deadtide police, we here for some
questioning.
RODGERS:
Hey, that’s what I usually say.
ARTHUR:
What are y’all doing here did I do
anything wrong?
FRANK:
Yeah, I think you need to sit
down.
WILLIAM:
ARTHUR:
I will, but first you need to get
this hoodlum for trespassing.
FRANK:
Don’t worry he’s with me
Arthur looks shocked.
FRANK:
Well aint you going to sit down
Arthur sits down in his living room.
FRANK:
Do you like strippers?
ARTHUR:
What’s up with y’all and
strippers?
FRANK:
Hey, you the one that like
strippers, especially one specific
one, right?
ARTHUR:
I mean I go to the strip club
occasionally but that’s not a
crime.
FRANK:
Your right but following someone
and harassing is.
DETECTIVE RODGERS
Allegedly Frank, as far as we know
he’s innocent.
ARTHUR:
See, I like this guy. I never
followed anybody and if I did, she
probably didn’t pay or anything
FRANK:
So if they don’t pay you think
it’s still ok to harass, right?
ARTHUR:
That’s not what I’m saying.
Sometimes the girls try to get
over, and sometimes ya know, I
have to get my money worth.
27.
FRANK:
What the f*** does that mean?
DETECTIVE RODGERS
Frank don’t do anything stupid.
FRANK:
What the f*** does that mean
answer the question?
ARTHUR:
Ya know sometimes I rough EM’ up
but nothing to crazy just enough
to get my full money worth.
FRANK:
Are you crazy, you weak old man?
Who was the last girl you followed
or used to ‘get your money worth’?
Arthur looks around and moves to get up.
FRANK:
No, you stay right here.
Detective, can you get him some
water?
ARTHUR:
Look officer, my wife left me a
couple of years ago. So sometimes
yeah, I get girls to entertain me.
Like I said, that’s no crime and
until you have proof you need to
get the f*** out of here
FRANK:
You didn’t answer my question
Arthur sighs and drinks the glass of water Rodgers brings him.
ARTHUR:
I... can’t remember
FRANK:
Your wasting my time, you know
that?
RODGERS:
I think we should leave Frank.
He’s old, maybe he really can’t
remember.
FRANK:
You’re probably right... but since
we are here we might as well check
the place.
28.
ARTHUR:
Over my dead body where’s the
warrant
FRANK:
Oh we’re not going to do it.
William goes behind Arthur and proceeds to knock Arthur out cold.
RODGERS:
That’s wasn’t in the plan.
FRANK:
You didn’t stop it. Let’s check
neighborhoods get curious.
Frank walks up the stairs to Arthur room. The room is nice with all-
white bed but there are shockingly pictures of younger girls on the
wall and dresser.
RODGERS:
You think this could be our guy
FRANK:
I’m not sure yet. Even though he
has these pictures, he doesn’t
strike me as a person that has the
pieces.
The pair continue to look through Arthurs room, they find more
evidence.
DETECTIVE RODGER
Hey, Frank come look at this
Detective Rodgers is in Authors bathroom where he finds a porn
magazine.
FRANK:
What? That’s just magazines.
DETECTIVE RODGERS
Flip through it
Frank sighs, looking confused. William then burst in the room and says
I think someone is watching us.
DETECTIVE RODGERS
Really who?
29.
