Alisha came out after a successful presentation, looking all happy and she was about to leave the receptionist had some message for her.

Receptionist:
Hello ma’am

Alisha:
Yes dear, any problem?

Receptionist:
Please your friend who brought you your case left his wallet here; please kindly help me give it to him

Alisha:
oh okay. I will surely do that, thank you. (On your way out open the wallet and smile because he left only his card inside it, bring the card out and give him a call)

A conversation between Alisha and Terry over the phone

Alisha:
Hello Mr. Terry

Terry:
Hey please who am I speaking to? (Pretending not to know)

Alisha:
You saved me today at work God bless you and by the way the name is Alisha

Terry:
Okay nice I get the person now but you seem to have anger issues

Alisha:
Oh no let’s not talk about me, so tell me, did you intentionally leave your wallet behind?

Terry:
Err mm maybe

Alisha:
So how do I get it to you?

Terry:
What are your plans for this evening? So we meet at the guy’s pub for the delivery of my wallet. What do you say?

Alisha:
Let me get home and call you back

Terry:
Okay do that

SCENE 9

Alisha and Terry were able to meet at the pub and not only for the wallet delivery but they tried knowing each other’s more.

Terry:
You look gorgeous

Alisha:
Thank you and you are not looking bad at all

Terry:
Let’s go in and have a drink

They went in and had a table for themselves

Alisha:
Sir Terry thank you once again, you really saved my neck today

Terry:
Oh is fine, and please stop calling me sir, hope everything went well with you and your boss? But don’t worry my boss has agreed to sign the contract

Alisha:
Yes and I thank God for the good news, is now left with investors to decide. Couldn’t actually believe when I saw you inside the room (Smiling) I was damn nervous especially with the way you were looking at me. Only God knows how I was seriously fighting nervousness so that I can hide it well.

Terry:
And you think I didn’t notice that, I was trying to pay you back with your own coins. The ones you gave me inside the elevator. What do you actually do at the work place? Like your work

Alisha:
I am the public relations officer of the company and event planner as well, So you see why I had to do the presentation on behalf of the company.

Terry:
I guess you already know what I do because is all on the card. I can’t believe we are actually sitting here cool and having a drink, you are different from the person I met in the morning.

Alisha:
I’m sorry but that is my work face and I can show it to you right now. Will you like to see it again?

Terry:
Oh no please spare me ma’am

Alisha:
Don’t call me madam again please. I don’t like it when people who are of higher rank or older than me call Madam.

Terry:
Oh okay, I may not know your age but I think I’m older than you

Alisha:
Please don’t let those muscles deceive you. I’m 30.

Terry:
Wow then you have a good body because you don’t look like 30, well I’m 27.

Alisha:
I see (looking a bit disappointed)

Terry:
Hey come on is okay.(Smiling) We can still be friends

Alisha:
Yea okay, seriously you don’t also look like 27

Both laughing together

SCENE 10

Alisha was in the office busy working the receptionist came in with a parcel which contained flowers and a note and when she opened it Terry’s name was on it

Wendy paid Alisha a visit and they were in the room chatting.

Alisha:
Wendy you won’t believe this guy actually sent me flowers at work and trust me it smelled good and beautiful as well. I think I’m slowly falling for him, somebody please hold me before.

Alisha and Wendy: Laugh together

Wendy:
he may be into you or he may only want a chance to enter Jerusalem so please don’t be too excited, I mean slow down before you get accident.

Alisha:
I know but I just feel this strong connection between us and if is not love, then tell me what it is?

Wendy:
there is infatuation and lust everywhere but if you feel the connection then go in

Alisha:
And another thing too, I think we are compatible because I feel so comfortable around him and aside that too there is this chemistry growing between us , I hope you understand what I mean?

Wendy:
that’s great because is hard to find these too in a partner at a time , places you find chemistry you may not find compatibility and vice versa , but let me tell you my secret which is compatibility, It might be undermined in many relationships but trust me is the major key to my successful relationship right now .

Alisha:
But I’m a bit sad because the gap is 2 years against me. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?

Wendy:
Are you telling me you are older than him?

Alisha:
Yes babe and is really bothering me, Even though I use to shout that age is just a number but I’m scared now

Wendy:
Please don’t be, just give it a try. Okay.

The mother of Alisha ear dropped and heard all the discussion and she was happy the daughter is finally seeing someone. So she walked in to give them a piece of advice on relationships.

Alisha’s mum:
(clear your throat) May I come in?

Wendy:
Yes mum

Alisha’s mum:
Let me lend you two a piece of advice. One of the biggest mistakes you youngsters make is that, you confuse compatibility with chemistry. You lookout for the spark and connection more than the similar personal interest. Chemistry can only lead you to bed early whiles compatibility will lead you down the aisle and as for the age is just a number, maturity is not about age is ones way of thinking that shows they are matured. Just try and bring him home one these days to have dinner with us. Okay

Alisha:
Okay mum
