Karan Arjun Page #7

Synopsis: When Durga's husband speaks out against the tyrannical rule of his brother, Durjan Singh, he is mercilessly killed, and Durga and her two children, Karan and Arjun, are left destitute. Durga brings up her sons without informing them of their heritage nor of the death of their father, but they soon find out when the elder Thakur decides to invite Durga back into his household. This does not auger well with Durjan Singh, and he has the elder Thakur killed. When he finds out about Durga, he goes to end her life, but her sons spring up to defend her, only to get themselves killed. Alone, destitute more than ever, and devastated, Durga loses her mind, and prays to God to bring her sons back so that they can avenge her humiliation, and the death of their father. Seventeen years later, two youth re-enter her life, they do look like her sons, and are ready to take on Durjan Singh, but will they also meet the same fate as Karan, Arjun, and their father?

Eat grams!

Eat biscuits.

Nahar and Shamsher are no more.

When will the rest who are left...?

When will they be damned?

Our hands are tied as long as

Sonia is their prisoner.

- Who is she?

- Mother...

Your daughter-in-law.

Yes and Durjan wants to

make her his daughter-in-law.

Wedding bugles will never

play in that mansion!

Only the Death March!

Why do you look so scared?

I think I saw them in the temple.

No! How cans this happen?

But...

Who were they?

- Who were they?

- Daddy, they're Ajay and Vijay.

Who are Ajay and Vijay?

The same fools who were

in the temple, sir.

The ones you thought were Karan

and Arjun are Ajay and Vijay.

What nonsense, Madam!

Two Ajay and Vijay; Two Karan

and Arjun. That makes 4 of them!

A bier too needs four shoulders!

Be careful, sir!

Our stars indeed seem

to be inauspicious.

Weapons worth millions were seized;

your brothers-in-law were killed.

Now Ajay and Vijay.

There is some problem or the other.

I want the marriage

plans to stop for now.

I will return to the

city with my daughter.

Stop the marriage?

Till yesterday, you were my

business partner in profit and loss.

But now that we are related, you

Is a partner in joy and in sorrow.

The marriage will not be postponed.

It will be held on the day we decided!

- But...

- If you become adamant...

Then not you, but your corpse

will leave for the city!

- Apologize?

- Yes dear.

I am ashamed of my deeds.

I fixed your marriage

in the wrong family.

The man who can threaten

to kill his friend...

He is capable of anything.

That is why I cannot bear to

see you thrust in this hellhole!

Your Vijay has come here.

Elope with him.

Yes my dear.

I've brought you up with great love.

Don't cry my child.

I can't bear tears in your eyes.

I'll plan out how to help you

to run away from this house.

Where are you running off to?

Stop or I'll shoot!

- But Daddy, you...?

- Don't worry about me.

Run away!

For my sake, run!

Brother!

Some girl is screaming out Vijay!

You and here?

Daddy acquiesced in the

light of our love.

He understood that my life

would be ruined with that man.

Saw that? People use

goats to hunt tigers.

I used my daughter.

I thought nobody in this

world was worse than me.

But you showed what a bastard

you can be at the right time.

That I've become

slave to your lowness!

I'll kill that rascal in such a way...

That God will end this

system of rebirth!

Go! Bring her to me!

When Arjun has come,

Karan too will follow!

Kill him!

Where have these two gone?

There!

Follow them!

- What happened?

- There's nobody in the village.

- The village is abandoned.

- What?

- Nobody in the village?

- Yes, the village is empty.

Have the villagers died?

Have they died before they

witnesses the flames of my anger?

You, who gave shelter to my enemies...

I won't give you place to be cremated!

Your corpses will rot away

on the roads like stray dogs!

Where have they all gone!

Rascals! Scoundrels!

What is it?

I am alive only to see you

being tortured like this.

You played with blood!

Today I will watch...

Whose blood will flow and

whose corpses will fall!

How can you kill me?

Death stands at your head!

Master is damned!

- Rascal!

- Shoot him!

Shut the gate!

They have come!

Let go!

Catch.
