I believe he too would come, some day.

Where is mother?

- Grieved that the family was ruined...

mother... becoming heartbroken...

Alright. Don't worry.

It is a story that has ended.

No, uncle...

The story has just begun.

'Kochadaiiyaan' Ranadheeran

Did he act as an orphan all these years,

just to free those slaves?

We have been betrayed

Veera Mahendra, worry not...

He has made an enemy in me.

He has started a new war.

From now on,

the war is just between Rana and me.

Why is the horse staggering?

Did you give it fodder or toddy?

Ever since you came, it's only 'Vadhana'...

Haven't you forgotten her at all?

Why are you so jealous, dear sister?

Get up and come here, uncle.

Only if I get up, can I come there.

You would have eaten well, I am sure.

- What?

When one enters, they ask,

'Have you eaten'?

She is asking if I have already eaten.

Sarcastic!

I meant if you had had toddy.

It, being toddy got from a single tree,

can I drink it every day?

It's been all morning since I had it.

What is it, uncle?

Stop crying.

Whatever it is, break it open.

The problem is that it is broken.

What is broken?

- The statue, of course.

A statue... just like you

They wanted a statue

of a warrior exactly like you.

I completed it too and placed it.

But it is broken now.

Who broke it?

It must be he, who has broken it,

in drunken daze.

I was not drunk then.

- Leave it, uncle. Do it again.

How can it be done immediately?

Why should it be done immediately?

- Will they leave me alone?

Oh, no! They will arrive anytime now.

They will demand

to see the statue immediately.

They will beat me up, for sure.

Oh no!

Who ordered the statue?

Princess herself.

- Princess Vadhana Devi, is it?

Yes, it is her...

Sorry... it is her highness.

Rana, will you do something for me?

Will you come to my studio for half hour...

no, no... two hours?

What work do I have there?

No work at all.

If you just come and stand, that will do.

Just like a statue.

Why don't you return the money?

Only if I have, I can return it, right?

You may be willing to pay on my behalf.

She won't accept it.

Your maternal uncle is asking you.

Don't glare at me, please.

Call me 'infernal uncle' too!

What is wrong if you come by?

- No, uncle.

Do you want me to look bad before them?

When have you ever looked good?

Alright. Forget it. There is only one way

for me to save myself. -What is that?

That is, to die.

Go ahead bravely, uncle.

Come what may, I am there for you. -What?

To do what? Light my funeral pyre?

Take care. Don't make it too hot.

Oh no

Wonder what's going to happen.

Please wait.

Welcome.

Your arrival is making my stomach race.

No, it's adding grace to this place.

I came here

to see the brave Warrior's statue.

My guard said it was ready.

It is ready. It is ready.

But, is this one not better?

Where is my Warrior's statue?

It is right there...

It was right there.

Excellent.

- Excellent? What is excellent?

How is it excellent?

What is she talking about?

My nephew

'Nephew?

Isn't Rana my nephew?

As I sculpted a statue just like him...

Thank you

with gratitude...

I exclaimed 'My nephew'

The brave warrior I saw yesterday...

how could you bring him

before my eyes today?

I said 'Come on, my boy' and he came.

- What?

I was talking about my skill,

your highness.

It is so realistic,

just like looking at him in person.

Thank you so much, respected princess.

You praise me too much.

But, this part looks a little small.

Does it not?

Which part?

Oh... It looks fine now.

I think...

you might not have seen properly then.

Shambumitrar

- Yes, that is me. Me, indeed.

You have made a mistake.

I wouldn't have done it knowingly.

What is it?

Does his stomach look like this?

He had food, just now.

I mean... I had food, just now.

Not for you. For him.

Do you understand?

Let's change it, then.

It is fine now.

Whatever you want changed...

all that will change, on its own.

Oh... is that so?

Alright. I will go near and inspect.

Hold your breath

The paint is fresh,

that's why I asked you to...

asked you to hold your breath.

Shoulders that spread wide...

One or two?

How many burdens it has to bear?

The cheeks...

seems perfect for me to kiss.

Go on, kiss him.

"It is gently..."

"it is gently..."

"that you attract me"

"Shall I take revenge?"

"it is gently..."

"it is gently..."

"that you attract me"

"Shall I take revenge?"

"I am an heiress

of peacock throne fame"

"As a rain cloud, down I came"

"A drop in your eye's corner,

I became"

"it is gently..."

"it is gently..."

"that you attract me"

"Is it to receive me?"

"A swan, a graceful swan;

a glowing lotus bloom"

"A love story with an unseen end"

"Directions, eight, her beauty does stir,

Like a blessing on the yearning worshipper"

"A deficit of words,

language does incur"

"Want a dancing creeper?

Want a shading cover?"

"Would these ever render

the joy in your lap's surrender?"

"Want a defending army?

Want a raging enmity?"

"Can anyone ever defeat me, but you?"

"No one but you can win over me"

"You, the music crowned across the sea"

"The flame that dances from dawn to dusk,

this handsome man is"

"Crossing the skies to win the world,

A flower belonging to one man, she is"

"The flame that dances from dawn to dusk,

this handsome man is"

"Crossing the skies to win the world,

A flower belonging to one man, she is"

"Rana"

"Rana"

"Caress me, my Rana"

"To you, no man can even compare"

"This beauty will waste away.

Do not waste another day"

"A bloom that is mine,

I will never spare"

"A troubling care,

Taking me to the edge of joy there"

"The flame that dances from dawn to dusk,

this handsome man is"

"Crossing the skies to win the world,

A flower belonging to one man, she is"

"Is it to receive me?"

Please do not mistake my words.

You are a nobleman from the palace.

We are mere subjects, who work for you.

You wishing to make an alliance

with our family is wrong.

Why... Wait, man...

Come, Rana. When did you get here?

We know not, when you will come

or how you will come.

The thing is...

the prince wanted a tour of the studio...

Here, in the backyard?

- Walking around...

Do not talk in circles, uncle.

What is it?

It is nothing. Leave me.

- Rana

I will tell you the truth.

Your sister and I...

have been in love,

for a very long time now.
